28/09/2025: I'm starting from the assumption that the only good thing about the place is the food. Terrible owner. Very friendly service.

28/09/2025: We went to this place a second time, happy as we had the first time. But since I didn't remember the place, I booked through The Fork, looking for places near my location, and we managed to find it, and so far so good. The flaw? The waiter told us that the reservation wasn't received until we were seated, so he didn't give us the 20% discount. And honestly, all this does is lose customers. Out of politeness, we stayed seated and ordered, and like the first time, the pizza was excellent, but the staff was poor.

23/08/2025: I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. A seafood dinner with an appetizer and a main course. The photos speak for themselves. The service was impeccable, the enchanting 1950s atmosphere, and the music made the dinner special.

30/09/2025: Delicious ice cream and pastries, though not too varied. I ordered a pear cone with chocolate and ETA Volcano (almonds). They were good, although there was some ice in the cone. Good prices. The best part was the little tables and chairs on the avenue.

25/09/2025: Wonderful location and superb food. If you want to eat really well, this is the place to go. The staff is incredibly kind and always available, and the owner is incredibly friendly and ready to accommodate any request. I'm really happy I discovered it and will definitely be back.

07/09/2025: A beautiful restaurant nestled in a charming alleyway, finally given a facelift! The service was precise and attentive, always there when needed. The dishes were delicious and generous; the fish was fresh and well-cooked, and even the fried fish was dry and tasty. The platter featured a good selection of cured meats and cheeses.

27/08/2025: A bistro in the heart of old Gela, in a charming and picturesque square. Friendly and attentive staff. Dishes are made with excellent ingredients and are well-prepared. The combinations are truly remarkable, clearly demonstrating the craftsmanship. I'm not giving it full marks because, unfortunately, the service took a bit too long, and at a certain point the staff got lost in conversation with other customers. Despite this, I recommend a visit if you're passing through Gela. --- Update of August 22, 2025: Seven of us had dinner at **Disiu** and ate outdoors, in a very characteristic Gela alley that created a truly charming atmosphere. I tried both the classic caponata and the fish one: both were very good and beautifully flavored. For my second course, I chose a fried fish dish, which, personally, I was a bit less impressed with than the appetizers. The staff was very kind and helpful, although the wait was a bit long. The bistro recently came under new management (about a month ago), so I imagine it's a testing phase: I hope they find the right balance soon, because the potential is there.

26/08/2025: The crunchy pizza with nduja is a real treat. The flavorful, perfectly cooked dough exudes all the aromas of this wonderful land. The excellent ingredients bring out the best in everything. The burrata facchina is crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside—a feast of flavors!

17/09/2025: Frozen seafood, high prices, and unfortunately, the staff just waits to close the place before siesta. There are much better places in Capo d'Orlando.

02/09/2025: I went there by chance on August 14th, even though the place was packed, they quickly seated us, and we quickly ate divinely. The fish was delicious, and the staff was fast and very friendly. I highly recommend it.

27/08/2025: First and last time! After this experience, I think that's enough. I called at 7:00 PM to order 1.5 kg of focaccia with three different flavors: traditional, Tyrolean, and porcini mushrooms. I told them I'd be back at 8:00 PM. I took the focaccia away, and as soon as I got home, we saw they'd made 1.5 kg of traditional with a black olive in the center! A truly awful service! There's no shortage of focaccerias in Messina anyway.

05/10/2025: Here you can truly enjoy gelato worthy of the name. Or, as they say in Palermo, "as it should be." Add to that the splendid sea view and the friendly staff...

07/09/2025: Calling this place a pizzeria is going too far! I ordered the Margherita pizza and it was terrible! The tomato sauce (probably passata) was all watered down and sweet, not to mention the sugar. The mozzarella was acceptable, but the pizza was very heavy... rubbery. The swordfish caponata was the worst I've ever had during my entire stay in Palermo... I think it contained something similar to fish fingers... well-known frozen products.

26/04/2025: Excellent and genuine traditional products. After many hours of purchase, the bread does not become gummy, on the contrary. The Easter dove, kindly donated by Mrs. Mrs Rita, what can I say? Sublime. Highly recommended

12/10/2025: I've been there twice. The first time was midweek, and the place was packed. I tried the fritto misto and a pizza, and I was satisfied. The pizza was light, well-leavened, and had a great amount of ingredients. The second time, however, I went on a Saturday. I'll start by saying I hadn't booked, but an employee found a place for me anyway. I understand that Saturday nights are chaotic everywhere, but unfortunately, the thing I didn't like the most about the last time was the pizza, which was completely different from the first time—too thin and burnt.

11/10/2025: Terrible welcome. This restaurant clearly doesn't like tourists. No smiles, no politeness. We were asked to eat in an hour because the restaurant was supposedly full, even though there was no one on the terrace. We were served coffee in a plastic cup. For the price, it's a joke!
