09/12/2025: A lovely bar with large windows overlooking the street where they serve a bit of everything, from coffee to tea, from aperitifs to lunch and dinner. I had tea this evening with an excellent castagnaccio. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, with a wide selection of food and drinks on display. Perhaps I'd pay a little more attention to the service, perhaps two teapots instead of just one for two, since a tea already costs €3. Paper napkins and sugar are on the table without having to ask for them—small things, for goodness' sake, but they could be improved. Otherwise, everything's fine.

11/01/2026: A very negative experience. At 9:00 PM, we ordered several dishes that never arrived, despite repeated reminders. The worst thing was the staff's attitude: the waiters couldn't give any answers, seemed completely disorganized, and, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, were rude and impolite. Furthermore, communication was extremely difficult because many of them didn't speak Italian, making it impossible to explain the problem or receive clarification. Then, in the end, one of the dishes was simply "forgotten," and then they said "the salmon is out" around 11:00 PM. But we had ordered at 9:00 PM. A restaurant cannot afford such poor service: food alone isn't enough if professionalism, politeness, and respect for the customer aren't present. I won't be returning.

24/12/2025: We had a very good meal. The menu is varied and the atmosphere very welcoming. The dishes are very fresh and the value for money is excellent.

11/02/2026: Maritozzo feels like a super-luxurious version of the Forest Cream Bread. It's like a premium take on a familiar flavor. At 4.50 euros, it's a worthwhile experience, but you won't need to eat here twice. The packaging is triple-wrapped to prevent the cream from spilling out.

22/03/2026: Highly recommended!!! Very nice place, staff were immediately ready to welcome us. Excellent pinsas made with traditional Roman flours. Crispy and well-seasoned. Decent wait times. We'll definitely be back.

18/03/2026: I came here last night with three friends. We all ordered different things and were so hungry we didn't even think about showing you the cacio e pepe potato chips because they were gone as soon as they were placed on the table. The fried food was fantastic. Despite a bit of a wait in the kitchen between the appetizers and the main courses, we had excellent service from Federica, who was very kind and attentive to our needs/requests. The food was very good. I ordered a classic supplì and a pinsa (even though the menu says pizza) with parmesan. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it because I had a substantial snack in the afternoon, but there were no objections when I asked to take the rest away in a doggy bag. I really appreciated it and will enjoy that delicious pinsa again today. Of course, my friends also ordered the legendary Zoccolette alla Nutella, and I had to have one 😋! I'll be back to try the aperitif dinner too!

02/03/2026: Nice but not exceptional barge on the Tiber. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is courteous and professional. The food is good but standard, with no personal originality.

22/02/2026: I unfortunately didn't get to go to Baja. I booked for Aperitivo for a group of friends for my 50th birthday and due to the weather it was closed. However, I wanted to say that the planning was so easy, the staff were friendly, the food sounded great! I am so sorry I didn't get to go, but if you're in Rome and they are open then I'm sure they will make sure you have a good time. ♥️

26/03/2026: The food was delicious. I ordered a carbonara and a calzone. Both were very tasty. The service was quick and attentive. The only negative point was that they served me focaccia without me ordering it. I asked them to remove it, but when I saw the bill, I realized they had charged me for it.

09/03/2026: Came here fairly late (21:00) on a Saturday night, group of four. Not a tourist trap, mainly locals. Service was brisk and friendly. The baby octopus starter and Tiramisu were excellent. Pizzas also tasty, the base so thin it was like a Flammkuchen. Only 4 stars as the carbonara sauce was overcooked and the eggs a bit scrambled. Still tasted nice but a mistake you think. We were given a free Limoncello at the end, perhaps to drown the sorrows if England losing the rugby😅

06/03/2026: We had breakfast at this café for three mornings during our stay at a nearby hotel. The staff was excellent and provided great recommendations for paninis, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The coffee was really good. The café is located in a quiet area and, despite its small size, it has a charming and authentic Italian café look. We highly recommend it for a delightful breakfast.

Really nice location with a great atmosphere... we had some excellent appetizers, but you don't come here to eat... but to enjoy a good beer (even gluten-free, which isn't for everyone!) and be lulled by the sound. If you have a good ear, I don't think anyone will be offended if you join in. 😆🤣

12/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. Gnocchi for my wife and saltimbocca for me. Superb. With homemade tiramisu. And the new Seadas are excellent, definitely worth trying! The service was also very friendly. The staff were attentive. Enjoy.

12/03/2026: Not that great place. It doesn’t feel as a restaurant that much. Too crowded and to many tables. The tables are so close to each other that it feels you sit with someone else at your table. We have been there around 3pm after visiting the Colosseum on a Sunday and it was really busy. The for was ok, not impressive but ok, same as the coffee. We just wanted to eat pay and go without relaxing to much as everything felt in rush. Prices are ok but I am sure there are other restaurants around that can do better for the same money. It’s ok to eat there, don’t get me wrong but after a long day visiting the Forum and Colosseum and walking around from the morning we felt that we need to relax a little after lunch, but this place couldn’t offer that. Thank you!
