Nomisan In Roma

I've read many reviews about this place and I can tell you that after being there, those who speak of a place where authentic Japanese cuisine reigns supreme and the quality of the food and sushi is stratospheric are absolutely right... The best sushi in Rome without a doubt, and I assure you that I've tried over a hundred in Rome, being a sushi enthusiast. The price is certainly not for everyone or every occasion, but the quality of the fish is so high that it more than justifies it!!! To those who wrote that the rice opens up and isn't firm, you don't know what a freshly made nigiri is, which is exactly how it is (I took a sushi course!) and you deserve the cemented rice at AYCE!!! If you learn to use chopsticks, you'll have no problems and it won't break!!! I've also read about the slow service; they're very fast in the kitchen, and the owner is kind and courteous. I don't know why people write this nonsense, but never trust reviews that talk about rude staff, because 90% of the time the rude ones are the customers themselves!!! If you have a special occasion, bring someone who loves Japanese cuisine to this place and they will be the happiest person in the world!

The quality of the dishes and ingredients is very high, nothing like the big chains and all-you-can-eat restaurants. It's a shame the space isn't very soundproofed, making it noisy. Prices are medium-high, but in line with the quality.

I often go to Giappone Nomisan, my favorite, and I always have a great experience. Fresh, high-quality sushi, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes. Fast service and friendly staff. Excellent value. Recommended!

We were a little disappointed, but we had high expectations based on the reviews and comments from acquaintances. Nothing to complain about regarding the welcome, service, or quality of the products; you can really feel the owners' passion. We waited a bit for the dishes, even though the place wasn't crowded, but nothing special. The "disappointment" was in the final result: despite the high-quality products, we didn't find any memorable dishes, and we'll be ordering again immediately.
