Everything from breakfast to dinner was delicious. Brothers Roberto and Fabio, along with their entire staff, are always friendly, smiling, and welcoming. It's now a regular stop on every trip to Rome.

We had breakfast at this café for three mornings during our stay at a nearby hotel. The staff was excellent and provided great recommendations for paninis, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The coffee was really good. The café is located in a quiet area and, despite its small size, it has a charming and authentic Italian café look. We highly recommend it for a delightful breakfast.

Umami - Trattoria Giapponese

15/03/2026: Truly excellent. The food is superb and finally authentic Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is elegant, perfect for a dinner for two. The service is friendly and the price is fair.
16/02/2026: My favorite Japanese restaurant in Rome with a chef who trained in Japan! This place has authentic Japanese food which is so good that I find myself wanting to come back every time 😋 The ramen both the fish and meat broth is fantastic. The takoyaki are the best I’ve had, and the sushi is excellent quality, with fish that practically melts in your mouth. A special bonus is the plum sake - one of the best I’ve ever tried, incredibly smooth and flavorful. Be sure to book in advance, as the place is always full!

17/03/2026: Delicious gelato and baked goods!! We got the coconut, mango and wild berries gelato- beyond delicious! We also got several cannolis for later, 3 different flavors, and all were very tasty! 100% recommendation
07/03/2026: Really good ice-cream, the pasty didn’t feel 100% fresh and was similar to other places tried…seems like no one is doing their own pastry.
