03/05/2026: An excellent experience, less than 10 km from Udine. Everything was excellent, starting with the panoramic terrace, which offers a splendid view of the Friulian plain. The ladies are friendly, kind, and attentive, the dishes are tasty and portioned appropriately. The service is appropriately punctual. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back. I find it suitable for families with even small children. However, it's best to book by text message due to poor mobile phone coverage. This might also cause problems if you want to pay by card, but I'm not sure about that, as I usually pay in cash.

23/05/2026: I am on my walking journey from Malta to India, and yesterday I reached Udine very late, almost around midnight. The restaurant had already closed at 11:00 PM, but the wonderful people at Himalaya Ristorante still waited for me for more than an hour just to serve me a warm meal. The food was absolutely delicious, and the people were incredibly kind and friendly. Their hospitality truly touched my heart after such a long and tiring day of walking. If you are ever passing through Udine, I would highly recommend visiting Himalaya Restaurant, you will definitely love the food and the amazing hospitality. The bread was simply out of this world! ​A special mention goes to the staff: they are incredibly kind and welcoming. ​The setting is elegant and the atmosphere is pleasant. 01/07/2026: Near the bus station, this tiny artisanal ice cream shop offers excellent quality and the owner is always friendly. A trusted shop for many years. The prices have skyrocketed, but that's a common occurrence among ice cream shops.

15/02/2026: I waited to write this review until the third time we've come to this place, where you're greeted with such kindness and warmth. The acoustics are excellent, allowing for pleasant conversation. The dishes are very good, both in preparation and flavor, and sincere compliments go to the chefs, because the agnolotti with Treviso radicchio, with an overall delicate filling featuring just the right amount of speck and cheese, were truly delicious. As were the tagliolini with blueberries, a light pasta with the perfect duck ragù! And after the masterfully prepared main courses (Istrian goulash with polenta and Isonzo rose with egg mimosa), comes the SUPER dessert. The best tiramisu I've ever eaten! (I'm Venetian, and tiramisu is an almost traditional dessert that we even make at home), but this tiramisu is perfect! The ingredients are balanced as they should be: alternating layers of ladyfingers soaked in bitter coffee and mascarpone cream. Every spoonful taken vertically is a delight for the palate! I took two photos just to understand the balance, but I assure you that for me this is the REAL tiramisu (7 stars). BRILLIANT pastry chef! Congratulations.

14/06/2026: Very friendly service, and the food and drinks are a treat for gourmets. Anyone who makes the journey here will be rewarded with exceptional Friulian cuisine. I have rarely eaten better in the Aquileia region. The Pinogricio is an honest, elegant rosé wine, and the desserts are excellent. To finish, there was a liqueur with herbs from the lagoon that is second to none. Beautiful treat!!!
