17/07/2024: We arrived at this tavern by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. Informal and family style environment. The menu is a mix of local and Molise cuisine with excellent fish options too. Interesting and unique dishes. We had the aubergine meatballs, the cod croquettes and the pappardelle with duck and truffle sauce. Everything excellent. Next time we want to try the fish cuisine. Chef Giuseppe's hospitality is top!

13/08/2024: We had dinner last night, an experience not to be repeated!!! Ordered 2 appetizers and a mixed fry which I would say were terrible...one of the worst I've eaten!! The frying plate was full of oil and the fish was almost inedible. The waiter cleared the table, leaving the shells that he accidentally dropped from the plate on the tablecloth. Two other waiters passed after him and did not clean the tablecloth from the carapaces. I ordered a coffee and it was served to me without bringing sugar and without asking if I liked it. Two appetizers, a mixed fry, a glass of wine and a bottle of water for a total of 93 euros. No problem paying them knowing you are in Lignano but... terrible product quality and service. We won't be back!

16/06/2024: I was a guest at the only restaurant recommended by a friend. Truly excellent traditional food cooked with care and love. The flavors of the past are rediscovered in a spectacular natural setting both for the beauty of the landscape and for the friendliness and courtesy of the service. On the terrace, spending time admiring the view and enjoying the dishes is truly very pleasant. Not only do I recommend it but I recommend it for anyone who wants to spend a romantic and carefree evening.

17/08/2024: Friendly staff but biblical times. Small portions and too expensive for what they are. One star for the vegetarian burger: two pieces of bruschetta bread, not even cooked, with grilled vegetables inside. No cheese, no toppings. 9 euros. A scam!

16/08/2024: Excellent and generously sized pizza, thin dough (Roman style) and very light. Nice environment and friendly staff. There are also tables outside. Parking near the venue. Even if there is a large turnout, there is a place to be found. Honest prices

21/08/2024: We returned this year for the second time. Dishes with excellent presentation, original and delicious. Excellent service, extremely friendly staff. I would have given a sixth star if they had offered me a digestive ;) the place is also welcoming

18/08/2024: Esperienza molto buona e vivamente consigliabile. Il contesto è magnifico dal punto di vista paesaggistico, e il rifugio molto accogliente, gestito con cordialità e solerzia. Eccellenti i canederli, il formaggio alla piastra e lo strudel di mele. Consiglierei antipasto con salumi più legati al territorio, e se possibile una piccola area attrezzata per far giocare e distrarre i bambini.

13/08/2024: Posto molto carino a gestione familiare. Sono andata con il mio compagno, ho preso gnocchi al ragù discreti e lui pasta salsiccia rucola e gorgonzola, dove ha trovato un pezzetto di alluminio che avvolge il formaggio... Assolutamente poco organizzati, senza sparecchiare gli altri tavoli e lasciando piatti vuoti per 40 minuti davanti ai clienti. Polenta quasi liquida, ossobuco insapore e cervo granuloso. Bestemmie davanti ai clienti che per quanto possa essere un intercalare, per chi viene da fuori non è il massimo. Ero curiosa di assaggiare i loro dolci, fin quando la figlia non ha tagliato le torte toccandole con le mani, senza usare guanti, dopo essersi toccata i capelli e chinata su di esse con i capelli penzoloni a toccare il piatto, direi proprio che come pulizia non ci siamo per niente.

25/07/2024: Small but well-kept environment. Well prepared dishes, tasty and quality dishes. Excellent service, especially for the courtesy and attention also towards the animals, which are allowed in the restaurant and super pampered! Adequate prices. Advise.

27/08/2024: I went for dinner and I had a good time, everything was very good, they were very careful not to contaminate my dish as I am celiac, so I recommend for celiacs, if there had also been a gluten-free dessert and it had been less hot inside I would have given 5 stars, I recommend going anyway.

25/08/2024: Intimate setting, very kind and friendly staff, well-plated and quality dishes: truly a pleasant experience just a stone's throw from the historic centre. We'll be back :)

20/06/2024: We had a lunch menu and were able to put together a variety of vegetarian dishes. The food was very tasty, but the portions were quite small and definitely not enough to fill you up. However, the use of disposable cutlery and crockery really spoiled the experience, is not very sustainable and contrasts with the delicious food. When we asked, we were told that the cutlery should be made from corn. However, this definitely does not apply to plastic cups. A pity! You can also just use real cutlery and crockery, like most other restaurants.

08/08/2024: The only place of its kind, very wide offer especially for vegetarians. An appetizer, first course of rice and second course pay €18 each. Rice with vegetables worth 10. Tasting it, I felt like I was in India. Too bad about the drinks. 1 liter of water in a plastic bottle for €3.50 also not.

03/08/2024: Best Indian food I've ever had! The butter chicken was insane, the tikki masala was beyond expectations and the mango lassi was amazing 😍 Must go if you're an Indian food lover!

20/05/2024: Very good pizza, we were actually surprised with the quality. Nice and kind service, some space to have a seat inside. Don't be fooled because of the look from the outside, worth entering. Will be back for sure.
