I was there for a party. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food and wine were excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, attentive to every detail. I highly recommend it!

An excellent experience, less than 10 km from Udine. Everything was excellent, starting with the panoramic terrace, which offers a splendid view of the Friulian plain. The ladies are friendly, kind, and attentive, the dishes are tasty and portioned appropriately. The service is appropriately punctual. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back. I find it suitable for families with even small children. However, it's best to book by text message due to poor mobile phone coverage. This might also cause problems if you want to pay by card, but I'm not sure about that, as I usually pay in cash.

Beautiful place, with a splendid view of the Friulian plain. This is my third time back for a get-together with dear friends. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended!

Elegant and refined, the atmosphere is managed by competent, kind, and smiling staff (we all know that these qualities are far from guaranteed). I ate one of the best frichis of my life. Our guests tried other dishes and were all satisfied (I know them well: they're merciless critics, so if they left satisfied, it means everything was truly delicious). The prices are decidedly reasonable, especially after years of skyrocketing prices everywhere. Regardless, excellent value for the high quality. We'll be back, definitely in the warmer months to enjoy the spectacular view of Udine and the surrounding area and the truly friendly welcome. Thank you!

23/05/2026: I am on my walking journey from Malta to India, and yesterday I reached Udine very late, almost around midnight. The restaurant had already closed at 11:00 PM, but the wonderful people at Himalaya Ristorante still waited for me for more than an hour just to serve me a warm meal. The food was absolutely delicious, and the people were incredibly kind and friendly. Their hospitality truly touched my heart after such a long and tiring day of walking. If you are ever passing through Udine, I would highly recommend visiting Himalaya Restaurant, you will definitely love the food and the amazing hospitality. Thank you so much to everyone there for being so caring and hospitable. 🙏😇

The bread was simply out of this world! ​A special mention goes to the staff: they are incredibly kind and welcoming. ​The setting is elegant and the atmosphere is pleasant.
