04/05/2025: I ordered a cake for 20 people and I was given a quote of €70 maximum approximately €80. At the time of collection (in addition to the fact that the cake was not aesthetically as had been requested) I realized that the cake was not for 20 at all, but at least for 30 people, for a sum of €105 (I have never seen a similar cake developed in length, it wouldn't fit in the fridge even without the wrapping). Obviously I ask for explanations and they tell me that if I want they can reduce the cake by cutting it for me, or that they would give me back the difference of the extra money spent, i.e. €30. At the time of the refund, they decided to refund me only €20, since the cost was €87. So I ask myself, why, if the cake was supposed to cost €87, was I asked for €105?! Terrible experience, initially I spoke to Luca on the phone who was very helpful with whom I had in fact made different arrangements, once I got there another uneducated and unprofessional person welcomed me and decided the refund amount herself. NEVER AGAIN

06/05/2025: Wow what a restaurant First of all, it is very pleasant to sit there. There are comfortable sofas and a pleasant atmosphere. The pizzas are huge so it's worth sharing. The variety is wide and the taste is excellent. Highly recommend

02/06/2025: We are not there! In recent years this place has gotten much worse. Very poorly organized from the cash register to the drinks counter to be taken, it is not clear where to go and I have to position myself. Management definitely needs to be improved.

01/06/2025: Had pastries and cappuccino for breakfast. Good service and they speak multiple languages. Reasonably priced for Bologna. Might be difficult to get a seat when it’s crowded.

19/04/2025: A classic Italian pasticceria offering a wide selection of delicious pastries (the croissants are exceptional). The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing breakfast. I highly recommend it.

30/11/2024: seeing as the restaurants in Imola close early for lunch we went into the first one we saw, luckily we arrived before the kitchen closed. I give 4 stars only because they didn't bring the dishes together but a few minutes apart

19/11/2024: We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident in June. It was a wonderful surprise. Definitely one of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy (good price and even better food). We ordered the tomato salad with burrata, which was very good. We also ordered carbonara and pasta with gorgonzola sauce. I definitely recommend it.

14/03/2025: In Bologna there is little concept of "oven", as it is understood in other parts of Italy. This shop is a rarity in the city and is of high quality.

13/03/2025: L'altissima qualità dei prodotti non può compensare la maleducazione del signore che gestisce il forno. La prima volta pensavo fosse un caso, ma poi ho scoperto che la sua scortesia in città è rinomata. Non si rende neanche conto peraltro che a Bologna esiste Calzolari e che quindi il suo non è esattamente il negozio più indispensabile dell'universo... Mai più!

26/05/2025: Prima volta in questo ristorante prenotato da amici per una cena sabato sera, ambiente curato a partire dalla veranda dove si consuma l’aperitivo per entrare nelle due sale passando dal bancone del bar; il personale è stato altrettanto gentile e pronto nel rispondere alle richieste, dalla priorità per i piatti dei bambini ai consigli sulle pietanze. Partendo dal menu, l’ho trovato piuttosto banale e limitante ma può essere un fatto personale dato che in famiglia si cucinano le stesse cose, comunque l’antipasto non lascia molto spazio alla fantasia con i classici crostini misti o tagliere affettati e formaggi , fa eccezione il radicchio con uova e pancetta; i primi di pasta fresca sono della tradizione della zona e l’unico condimento “alternativo” al ragù etc. è la crema di aceto balsamico che sui miei “balanzoni” non mi è piaciuta; una nota a parte per i tortellini in brodo che sono sicuramente superiori a quelli industriali ma sapevano molto di mortadella ed il brodo era poco saporito ma forse è una mia impressione abituato al brodo di gallina della mamma. I secondi di carne prevedono essenzialmente carne rossa ed un piatto con il maiale ma nessun piatto con pollo se non ricordo male, o nessun piatto vegetariano; non discuto sulla qualità ed origine delle materie prime ma l’esecuzione dei piatti mi è sembrata casalinga ma poco appetibile per i miei gusti, in generale riguardo tutti i piatti dei commensali che ho assaggiato ma in particolare sul mio vitello tonnato servito a fette molto sottili su un piatto e ricoperto di salsa tonnata cosa che non mi ha fatto capire assolutamente il sapore del vitello. Dei contorni ho assaggiato le cipolle al forno e le patate al forno, entrambe troppo “stressate” nel senso che si perdeva il sapore originale degli ingredienti da quanto erano pasticciate. Tempi di attesa troppo lunghi, un’oretta solo per avere i crostini misti ed un’altra mezz’ora da questi al primo anche se per i bambini sono stati molto più veloci nel portare un tortellino ed una cotoletta. Sinceramente avevo altre aspettative dato che la gente di zona ne parla bene ed il locale era effettivamente pieno, i gusti son gusti ma la sala piena non è una scusante per la cattiva gestione dei tempi Infine, i prezzi non sono proprio popolari ma ci sta per l’abbondanza delle porzioni

24/12/2024: Embarrassing!!! Cash register open, still a gentleman paying and they send us away without letting us buy the wine (with the cash register closed I would have understood even if I would never have sent a customer away like that but there was another person who was still paying). We had traveled 20 minutes to get there, there were only us with the wine in front of us only to pay it took 2 minutes and to be kicked out was so absurd, we will never set foot there again.

25/04/2025: I had read many negative reviews about the rudeness of the staff, I wanted to try it and I had confirmation of it! At the counter the brunette lady (not the younger girls) has a deplorable attitude to say the least considering that she is in direct contact with the public! It's a shame because they know how to make desserts... the sweetness of the person who serves them is missing... maybe once the lady is sent away everything will be more cordial! I'll come back but I'll only come in if she's not there...
