07/05/2025: Delicious dinner, normal service, cozy place!

27/04/2025: While traveling around Bologna, we decided to stop in this place for a glass of wine and an aperitif. I must say that the choice was very good! Finally I was served a proper Negroni, and a very inviting smell of falafel came from the kitchen. The pasta is produced by the adjacent Osteria dell'Orsa, which I haven't tried personally but from the row outside it makes me think it's a good place to eat. The Jukebox Café also has a very wide choice of wines, gins, bitters; just ask the very kind staff to get the best advice. Further point in favor? A jukebox from which you can listen to songs from around a hundred records for free!

30/05/2025: Compared to other restaurants in the chain, this is definitely poor. The worst thing is that very often they are missing products because they say they have run out of them: how is it possible that on a weekday at 7:00/7:30 pm they have already run out of baked potatoes and consequently the roast beef with potatoes dish is no longer available? I find it quite scandalous for a restaurant that does not even have such a large menu...

26/04/2025: We became aware of the restaurant by chance. is a bit out of the way. But we liked it. Mainly pasta and tortellini. Very tasty and... very high praise: the plates were really hot. We haven't experienced that in a long time, even in good restaurants. Prices are of course perfectly fine. This is what the '2nd row' does. Toilets OK. Absolutely recommended. Staff very friendly language is English

26/05/2025: Excellent sandwiches and drinks served with a smile and good humor. The wide choice offers something for every one. We enjoyed this termendously after walking all the way to San Luca and back.

29/05/2025: If you want to try traditional Italian pizza in Bologna, definitely go here. You’ll need to have a lot of patience, as there are many customers, and baking pizza takes time. But in the end, it’s worth it. It is obvious they admire pizza and make it with love — we really enjoyed it. Thank you so much!

23/05/2025: The ice cream is good as always I have been going to this place for over thirty years but the staff has unfortunately changed a lot and I will say no more. I ask for a three-flavor ice cream (my dinner) and since he was talking to other people the third flavor was a taste (quantity maybe two teaspoons).

09/01/2025: Sono rimasto molto sorpreso da questo ristorante , ho gustato dei deliziosi piatti afgani a cominciare da raviolini con fagioli e yougurt greco e poi un piattone di quabli composto da riso basmati, carne di agnello, uvetta e carote. Tutti piatti erano conditi da speciali spezie che rendevano le pietanze davvero saporite ! Piacevolissima scoperta

02/05/2025: Di passaggio per visita al museo Lamborghini, eravamo in possesso di uno Smartbox. Seguiti da una Signora gentilissima (credo sia la proprietaria o comunque una responsabile), ci ha trattato come se fossimo clienti abituali. Cibo fantastico, non c'è stato nulla che non ci sia piaciuto, anche molto attenti ai bambini, ogni richiesta veniva esaudita con un sorriso. Se passeremo da quelle zone torneremo sicuramente. Anzi, ce lo siamo promesso!!!!!

05/04/2025: Wide choice of mignon but unfortunately not fully satisfied with the tasting. Little tip: too much gelatine, many miniatures are rubbery. It would be enough to reduce the dose of gelatine because the taste is there and it's a shame. For example, the mango mignon and the 2 chocolate and raspberry mignon are too sticky and chewy. And then too many Bavarians inside the mignon, maybe I would add something crunchy inside perhaps to have a minimum of chew. Very high prices per kg, not sold as a single piece (6 miniatures paid €11.00). Very friendly and welcoming owner! Nice and modern place with tables also outside.

05/04/2025: Non sono rimasta particolarmente impressionata: certo le aspettative sono alte quando in cucina c'è un chef molto noto. Il palazzo è bellissimo ed elegante, in posizione molto centrale. Cibo di tradizione bolognese, come è giusto con ospiti anche stranieri, ma per il mio giudizio molto lontano dalla perfezione (nelle case bolognesi in generale si mangia meglio di così). Servizio attento, ma non indimenticabile. Aperitivo servito in piedi con servizio un po' frettoloso. Il palazzo è bellissimo, meriterebbe più attenzione alla qualità dei cibi e all'attenzione per gli ospiti.

23/02/2025: Una delle due signore mi ha trattata come una deficiente solo perché per 2 secondi non avevo capito bene cosa mi avesse chiesto! Ha iniziato a brontolare ad alta voce che la risposta era semplice o si o no e non smetteva più! Mi ha fatto vergognare davanti a tutti! Di sicuro il locale era pieno ma non ero certo io in 2 secondi ad averle fatto perdere tempo! Per evitare discussioni sono andata via senza dire nulla ma mi è dispiaciuto! Ho speso 100 € ed oltre ad avermi rovinato un po' l'umore nel giorno del compleanno di mio figlio , la torta non era un granché! Mai più! Se fossi stata una cliente abituale o una loro amica non mi avrebbero certo trattata con maleducazione!

24/05/2025: It's just the name! When you enter you can smell butter, which is quite unpleasant. The buttery pastries, the acidic coffee, horrible! Not to mention the fact that we were kindly kicked out because the tables had to be vacated because they were full!

23/05/2025: Pastry of pure excellence. The mignon are not sold by the kilo, but only in packages, where you choose the number of pieces. The cakes and anything on display already have the final price clearly visible and without surprises. Very high quality even for the savoury. Laboratory in view Michelin style. Prices obviously well above average for quality and aesthetics absolutely above average.
