05/06/2025: This morning I stopped at this pastry shop and, I admit, choosing what to order was surprisingly difficult. The products all seemed excellent just by looking at them, they all catch the eye and it is difficult to understand which one to choose; I would have gladly tried them all. The tenerina cake was spectacular, very soft and sweet. The coffee was also not bad, a detail that is absolutely not trivial, especially for someone who, like me, comes from a week abroad far away, with good espresso. The puff pastries won me over so much that I had to order a savory croissant too: the adjective “spectacular” does not do enough to describe it. Excellent experience. A positive note also for the staff: super friendly, which never hurts.

01/06/2025: I used to go here to have more or less decent breakfasts, eat something of higher quality than the average found around and spend even more to do it (rightly so). Lately it's a lottery, if you're lucky you find a good croissant or puff pastry but if you're unlucky like me you find them I wouldn't say inedible, but certainly far from the quality that had convinced me to return. With prices like that the stuff should always be good, not every now and then. Nothing to say about cakes, pastries etc... However I recommend having cheaper breakfasts elsewhere for the same quality.

26/01/2025: Review update...I repeat my 5 stars only because I can't give more. Entering here makes you feel at home, they are always smiling and kind! About the food... what can I say... quality and passion are released with every bite... of tortellone or raviola! It is now my fixed stop in Bolo and also my safe haven. Kisses from Santarcangelo 💜 Pliers, what a passion! Apart from the courtesy of the staff, which never hurts... the quality of the products is unquestionable... tried both sweet and non-sweet, and I must say that everything is a 10 and I would also add praise to something. I can't publish any photos... I never have time to capture anything that is still whole 😅 I recommend the Pinza and the raviole because among those I tried in Bologna I strongly believe they are the BEST. Absolutely honest prices. I also noticed the cleanliness of the premises and the staff. Well done, keep it up! Don't be put off by the parking... there is Lercaro in front but there is also a whole residential area behind where there is always a little hole.... I recommend and recommend Nonna Cesira!

04/01/2025: Once you buy the tortellini (€32 per kg) you want to learn how to make them 😁, still good, congratulations, then obviously it's just one of the many proposals that I imagine are one better than the other, it's important to work with the "heart" that's the true discriminant in every human activity. Well done. Minimal packaging for the tortellini (placed in a paper bag for food without the tray) but in my opinion it's fine so what matters is the substance. Friendly staff, at the exit there was no response to my greeting... it can happen (in the meantime a couple had entered)

27/05/2025: I hate writing negative reviews but... The apparent kindness of the barista hides a lack of professionalism. I explain. I pay for two coffees and a pastry. The guy asks me: should I heat it up for you? Yes, please. He puts it in the microwave and gives it back to me. While we wait an interminable amount of time for the coffee (our receipt had inexplicably been moved to the end of the line and other customers after us had been moved ahead), I bite into the pastry and burn my lips on the boiling cream. I kindly point this out to the barista to get a glass of water to soothe the pain (which he is hesitant to give me, go figure why) and he, angry (him!), snaps at me saying (exact words): "But you told me to heat it up!" I didn't think it was the right time to respond in kind, so I'll do it now on the review: good coffee, good pastry (except for the burn), zero service. To manage this nice bar, there should be more education and more empathy, nerves under control and attention to the customer. I see that other reviewers agree with me so accept the criticism and advice. Don't worry... tomorrow I'll go to another bar. Greetings. Update: the manager's response confirms what I wrote, that is, no attention to the customer (the response does not address the problem but minimizes it and makes fun of the person and the review with arrogance and rudeness). Congratulations 👏

18/02/2025: Ho scoperto questo agriturismo sui social e mi ha attirato subito, ho pensato “dobbiamo andare” e così è stato! Le nostre aspettative non sono state per niente deluse, anzi! Posto meraviglioso, cibo a dir poco squisito e staff gentilissimo! Ci torneremo sicuramente!

06/02/2025: I booked for the first time with TheFork, I received the booking confirmation for lunch the next day via email, we arrived and found the place closed with a note that they were closed for family reasons. I booked again with TheFork, this time it was open but at the time of payment they didn't know what to do with the TheFork voucher (it was written on the site that they accepted it), moral of the story, no voucher and we paid. I booked yesterday for lunch today, I received the confirmation via email but.....just before lunch the email canceling the reservation arrived and the place was closed. It can happen once but I would say it's too much.

10/04/2025: Excellent location just a few minutes from Bologna, the concierge is very useful, even open at night, for those like me who needed to arrive around 1 am. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was good and served as a buffet by the staff, I found everything from fruit to savory foods to cakes and much more. A pleasant stay.

24/04/2025: I must say that after a few months of "following" this workshop on social media I made up my mind and booked 2 doves for Easter. As soon as I entered, a very strong smell of biscuits welcomed me..."you could feel" in the air that it was something truly handmade and from a shop. The doves are really excellent and the dough was very, very soft. If I can give some advice I would say to pay more attention to the icing on top because it was not very inviting and only with a few grains of sugar in pieces... maybe a better decoration would make you say WOW. Overall passed and well done!

28/03/2025: The food is really good, the cakes are well made and you can feel that quality ingredients are used, however the last experience I had at the restaurant wasn't the best: towards the end of January I ordered a cake specifying that it had to be for 10 people, and I received a huge cake for over one hundred euros; a few weeks ago, however, I ordered another cake (having appreciated the previous one in terms of flavour) again for 10 people, and the cake that was delivered was much smaller than the first one I had eaten, and, clearly, also much less expensive. I doubt that the fact that the cakes can only be ordered "per person" and not by weight is being used to the owners' advantage .

31/05/2025: Off the beaten path, I found this gem while wondering around trying to find breakfast. I don’t speak a lick of Italian and I left a few places before ordering, frustrated and not liking the hustle and bustle. Two very nice men work here and they were very nice to me. So nice that I am currently walking almost a mile to get here every morning to support their business. We have a routine now with what I order and they are more than accommodating. I have been enjoying their salami/mozzarella crepes the most. Outside seating is my favorite except the view is of nothing in particular with a pedestrian walking by here and there.
