23/10/2024: Arrived a little early to be told by a pleasant enough chap, this establishment has recently changed hands and the menu is now totally different serving ham and cheese sandwiches and no pasta at all. Sorry, but we all left to find another restaurant.

18/06/2025: The Mercato is a hidden gem with little restaurants like Mozzabella. It is worth seeking out. Mozzabella has a lovely and complete menu. I had a DELICIOUS margharita pizza and wine. The crust on the pizza was tender, fluffy and flavorful.

13/06/2025: very good fruit flavors, very rude staff: I asked what the vegan options were and they told me none, claiming that the fruit ice creams (fruit and water ingredients as they themselves said) were not suitable due to contamination, because the fruit is not vegan, but is fruit. in short I had to insist to have a cup of ice cream made, surreal and senseless conversation, too bad because the ice cream is very good, but I will not return.

26/05/2025: Prima volta in questo ristorante prenotato da amici per una cena sabato sera, ambiente curato a partire dalla veranda dove si consuma l’aperitivo per entrare nelle due sale passando dal bancone del bar; il personale è stato altrettanto gentile e pronto nel rispondere alle richieste, dalla priorità per i piatti dei bambini ai consigli sulle pietanze. Partendo dal menu, l’ho trovato piuttosto banale e limitante ma può essere un fatto personale dato che in famiglia si cucinano le stesse cose, comunque l’antipasto non lascia molto spazio alla fantasia con i classici crostini misti o tagliere affettati e formaggi , fa eccezione il radicchio con uova e pancetta; i primi di pasta fresca sono della tradizione della zona e l’unico condimento “alternativo” al ragù etc. è la crema di aceto balsamico che sui miei “balanzoni” non mi è piaciuta; una nota a parte per i tortellini in brodo che sono sicuramente superiori a quelli industriali ma sapevano molto di mortadella ed il brodo era poco saporito ma forse è una mia impressione abituato al brodo di gallina della mamma. I secondi di carne prevedono essenzialmente carne rossa ed un piatto con il maiale ma nessun piatto con pollo se non ricordo male, o nessun piatto vegetariano; non discuto sulla qualità ed origine delle materie prime ma l’esecuzione dei piatti mi è sembrata casalinga ma poco appetibile per i miei gusti, in generale riguardo tutti i piatti dei commensali che ho assaggiato ma in particolare sul mio vitello tonnato servito a fette molto sottili su un piatto e ricoperto di salsa tonnata cosa che non mi ha fatto capire assolutamente il sapore del vitello. Dei contorni ho assaggiato le cipolle al forno e le patate al forno, entrambe troppo “stressate” nel senso che si perdeva il sapore originale degli ingredienti da quanto erano pasticciate. Tempi di attesa troppo lunghi, un’oretta solo per avere i crostini misti ed un’altra mezz’ora da questi al primo anche se per i bambini sono stati molto più veloci nel portare un tortellino ed una cotoletta. Sinceramente avevo altre aspettative dato che la gente di zona ne parla bene ed il locale era effettivamente pieno, i gusti son gusti ma la sala piena non è una scusante per la cattiva gestione dei tempi Infine, i prezzi non sono proprio popolari ma ci sta per l’abbondanza delle porzioni

29/06/2025: An experience not to be repeated, we went with about ten friends for a "gourmet pizza" that I call focaccia, the owner (really unpleasant) advised us to do a round of 2 pizzas at a time because he wouldn't have been able to do them all at the same time due to the small oven, and already here, he got points. We asked how to drink some beers and he recommended wine because according to him adding yeast to yeast was not recommended, but I eat pizza 3 times a month and honestly I don't pay attention to yeast, maybe it's better that he pays attention to eating given his abundant physical shape. In the end I asked for a bitter and he did whatever he wanted, when he could have simply said that he couldn't keep the boss's bitter, he didn't even hear the others and left. The bill? €40 each for a focaccia, a beer and a bitter that I had alone. The focaccias weren't bad but not bad enough for that price.

19/04/2025: It's always a treat to have breakfast here: The best pasta I have eaten: especially the one with Chantilly cream. What can I say about the cakes: crazy. Amazing cakes and pastries. On savory products these are also exceptional. The staff is friendly. My point of reference is pastry cream and taste. A guarantee.

31/05/2025: Ha preso il ghiaccio da per terra e lo ha infilato nel bicchiere, quando ho chiesto spiegazioni il Gestore si è rivolto a me con aggressività e maleducazione dicendo che mi faceva vedere le telecamere ..ovviamente ho chiesto di controllarle e si è visto chiaramente cosa ha fatto !!NON FIDATEVI

11/07/2025: Nice outdoor seating, but outrageously priced A spartan place, with no table service and a rather simple menu. The outdoor atmosphere is pleasant, but it doesn't justify the exorbitant prices. Ideal only if you're looking for an outdoor spot and are willing to pay a lot for very little.

07/06/2025: A year ago I would have written that it was a great oriental restaurant. I went back today after a year and everything has changed. We waited half an hour to eat and my friend 10 minutes more, and the restaurant wasn't even that full. The portions have decreased and I don't know how long they can keep a worker on his lunch break going. I don't think I'll go back there again, and I probably won't even go back to Bologna for a while.

28/06/2025: This is a hotel restaurant and in Italy we know that this is not always a winning choice. Mediocre pizza both in the dough and in the cooking and also the ingredients are quite mediocre. First courses al dente and abundant with good toppings. Second courses of fish good, second courses of meat so-so. Service average. High cover charge (2.50€) if you consider that even the tablecloth is made of paper (restaurant of a hotel...)

07/05/2025: We slept there for a night for a business trip, the room is really clean and the old man on the reception that I guess is the owner is really nice and polite
