19/05/2026: Well, the dishes are neither good nor bad, but my impression is of people with a vegetarian ideal opening a restaurant, not of a talented chef deciding to open a vegetarian restaurant. High prices, dishes a bit patchy. Ate for two, spent a lot, enjoyed very little.

17/05/2026: We had the eggplant tortelli, asparagus spaetzle, baked potatoes, and bread. Everything was delicious, especially the potatoes (very flavorful)! For two, we spent about €25, a very fair price. Great service!

28/04/2026: A truly excellent restaurant. We'd been wanting to go for a while, so we went for Easter. We had a wonderful time, especially because of the native language and the Italo wine they produce. We also discovered that you could buy the excellent Abbess's caramels with the sauce we'd just eaten. Highly recommended.

22/05/2026: Clorofila was one of our favorite meals in Bologna. The eggplant parmesan was easily the best we had during our entire two-week trip through Italy — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant itself was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We were tempted by the fish dishes, but Anthony Bourdain’s “never order swordfish in a restaurant” advice stuck with me, and being from the Pacific Northwest, I figured the salmon had tough competition anyway. Absolutely recommend this place if you’re in Bologna.

06/05/2026: We had lunch with friends and all ate daily specials prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Everything was homemade, including the cheeses and cured meats. The first courses were excellent and top-quality. The dessert was also fantastic, with mascarpone for the tiramisu made to order. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: I'll start by saying that I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan, but I went to this wonderful restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Antonella guided us through the menu, enthusiastically explaining the care and passion with which the dishes and ingredients have been prepared for 30 years. Because it's a seasonal menu, the dishes offered change every month... the May menu is a riot of colors and flavors!

20/04/2026: We stayed one night at Hotel Mathis, and overall, the experience was a mix of very positive aspects and others that could definitely be improved. The property is a charming little hotel, with a lovely historic tavern attached that's well worth a visit: the food is excellent and definitely worth the stop. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, but unfortunately, a certain inexperience in customer service was evident. Despite their friendliness, we didn't feel particularly welcomed as guests. The room, though small, was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable (the double pillows were much appreciated). However, we noticed a water leak from the ceiling. We didn't request a room change simply because we were staying one night and had already used the room, but we did report it. It was very hot that night, and the air conditioning wasn't working because the seasonal changeover hadn't yet been completed: an aspect that definitely needs to be addressed better. We had also booked dinner via the app, but we felt that canceling the reservation was almost more welcome than keeping it. Considering the problems we encountered, we would have expected at least a small gesture of thoughtfulness (even a symbolic one... even just offering a liqueur), which unfortunately didn't arrive. In short: a property with great potential, good food, and friendly staff, but it needs greater attention to detail and the overall guest experience.

18/02/2026: A very nice B&B. The room was small, there were three of us, but it was fine for one night. The room and bathroom were clean and had all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent. There's a lovely restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, but I didn't use it. I definitely recommend this place for visiting the nearby Piacenza hills.

02/05/2026: Hidden spot in Rimini! True authentic gelato is here, nowhere else in the city! Huge choice, all fresh and creamy 😍 Though I confess I didnt like coconut gelato, it was boring. But pistachio was mama mia..
