13/04/2026: My compliments for the pizza, the atmosphere, and the staff. My partner and I ate a porchetta and an aged Modena, and at the end we shared a Nutella and coconut piadina dessert. What can I say... everything melted in your mouth. It's hard not to recommend it; go and try it, you won't be disappointed. 🙂

12/05/2026: An unforgettable anniversary. I begin this review with a well-deserved mea culpa: neither my wife (a true Ferrarese) nor I (in Ferrara since 2011) had ever been to this wonderful restaurant. We decided to make up for it on Sunday, our twelfth wedding anniversary. The tasting menu tempted us, but we opted for à la carte lunch. I had an appetizer, first course, and second course; my wife had an appetizer, second course, and dessert. I believe the attached photographs speak for themselves when it comes to describing the elegance of the location and the beauty and quality of the dishes. I'll just point out that we thoroughly enjoyed some of the truly unusual, yet surprisingly successful, flavor combinations (for example, the wagyu with salmon in the signature main course, but also small details like the pairing of coffee and pineapple in the dessert). The food, course after course, was a true discovery, and we found ourselves laughing and joking, feeding each other samples so as not to miss anything, like two sweethearts. The aspect I'd like to focus on was the wonderful attentiveness of the service, which made us feel truly pampered throughout the meal. For example, since my wife hadn't ordered a first course, they still brought her an amuse-bouche to while away the time. Or, again without a word, my wife's second course was accompanied by a glass of the Japanese liqueur we'd spotted in the display case and commented on. Coincidence or the keen ear of an attentive maître d'? To top it off, a final surprise from the chef with his happy anniversary wishes, as pictured. The final surprise came when the bill arrived: truly very, very, very fair for the experience we had. We'll definitely be back to try the tasting menu.

23/04/2026: A lovely green corner, nestled in a garden, but with the option of seating in a small room. The menu is short, but every dish is well-prepared. The pumpkin tortelli are a must-try (delicious).

10/11/2025: Hmmmm! 🍦 We had the pistachio ice cream it was super yummy. You can still feel the fresh nuts and the saltines and it’s insanely creamy.

10/11/2025: This is probably the best gelato in all of Bologna. Yes we tried the other two popular ones as well but the dairy based ones... This one probably the best.

30/12/2025: Amazing gelato and even warmer people! Highly recommend the tiramisu and crema — incredibly creamy and full of character, just like a grandma’s secret recipe. The staff were so patient and thoughtful with their introductions and flavor recommendations, which truly brightened my first day in Bologna. Can’t wait to come back for the June-only peach flavor! 🍑🍨✨

02/06/2026: Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great. Food okay. Too much cheese Service was bad overall. no highlights. We booked a table in advance and got thrown on the end where there was no seats except the booth side. when I asked to sit across from SO it was made out as a big deal and eyes were rolled. Not really what you want when see something so highly rated. One thing that really confused me, but I’ve notice is a poor standard across Rome is the lack of tap water. Waiter/waitress gives you evil looks when you ask for tap water. Coming from the UK it seems so strange to me. But fair enough I guess. If you were looking for some food nothing special I’d go there. But I wouldn’t expect anything special or memorable.

30/04/2026: Out of the four nights in Modena we ate here twice. What a wonderful little place with the couple running the place being super warm, super kind and very very very welcoming. The husband is the chef who cooks some stunning dishes. The pastas were beautifully cooked. The ragu in particular was amazing. The homemade breads are a winner! They make their own balsamic vinegar and it’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The beef we ate was perfect. As were all the desserts. We ate the cannoli which was awesome. The ice cream and the balsamic combo was delicious as was the Panna cotta and the chocolate salami. We also tried the cacio pepe which was just perfect. Must visit.

28/04/2026: Beautiful restaurant. My group and I visited three times in two weeks. Excellent location and the food was outstanding! My favorite dinners were the duck, octopus, and pork cheek.. Nice selection of wines and beer and the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.

17/05/2026: A group of nine people, all satisfied with the food and service. The service was good, fast, and fully met our needs. The atmosphere was suitable for everyone. We will definitely be back. A well-deserved 5 stars.

10/05/2026: Typical Piacenza cuisine, a trio of cured meats and culatello with unforgettable fried gnocco, delicious homemade giardiniera and very good porcini mushrooms as an appetizer, a first course of ricotta and spinach agnolotti with butter and sage is a must-try, a second course of excellent meat tartare, the service by young and friendly staff, also a good location with the option of eating on the terrace.

13/05/2026: Delicious vegan food that you can either enjoy in the shop or take away. The owner is incredibly sweet and is happy to tell you about all the dishes. I would recommend the tortellini with beetroot and potato filling or with spinach filling (pictured). Also try the delicious "meatballs" in tomato sauce. The price is around €7-10 per dish.
