20/03/2026: We dined here for a birthday. The place was freezing, so much so that we dined in jackets, but they still weren't enough to keep us warm. The appetizer arrived after over an hour and a half; considering there were about twenty people in the place, the wait seemed excessive. The pizza, which arrived after two hours of waiting and constant reminders, was inedible. We asked for a Coke and were told it had run out—absurd, considering it's a "restaurant." Halfway through dinner, we left, leaving most of the food on our plates without finishing the celebration. Some of the people sitting across from us also left for the same reason. We will definitely never return. I absolutely do not recommend this place!

03/03/2026: Very kind staff: I tried to order via Just Eat but the app had some problems, and I solved it quickly by placing the order directly via phone. Good margherita pizza, fried food too (a nice choice).

28/12/2025: Cute little restaurant - stopover on the way to the mountains. Unfortunately the wait for the food took more than an hour and a half for the pasta, quite disappointing to wait for so long. The venue is pretty and very traditional with heritage history

02/11/2025: Very clean rooms equipped with everything, including a mini-fridge. A generous breakfast buffet is served, and the location is excellent, just a few minutes from the city center. The restaurant serves excellent fish and meat dishes. Wood-fired oven.

02/11/2025: Terrible experience. The place might be nice, but the experience was truly unpleasant. The elderly owner is rude and impolite, so much so that he literally took our order in a huff—a truly unprofessional behavior. The service is poor and makes the customers feel more like a nuisance than guests. Furthermore, the prices are excessive for what they get. It's a shame, because with a little more politeness and customer service, the place could be much better.

30/07/2025: I don't know how they eat... because as soon as I mentioned I was carrying a baby in a stroller, I was told, verbatim, "We don't accept strollers." Now, I imagine it was due to space constraints (I hope) or perhaps the babies were crying? I would have appreciated an explanation and perhaps a little (even feigned) regret for the inconvenience. * In every response to negative reviews, they called him a liar. I can confirm that, in addition to being rude to those who wrote polite and truthful reviews, he continues to make up lies. I quoted exactly what he said; he didn't add a single word beyond "We don't accept strollers." He may have been in business for over 40 years, but he's never acquired any customer service skills.

16/11/2025: Very noisy place, difficult to converse, no tablecloths, very slow (and somewhat confusing) service, friendly staff. The food is tasteless. Not recommended.

06/11/2025: Keep in mind that the place and the setting are decidedly rustic, but that's precisely the beauty of it, and you have to adapt to it. On the other hand, the appetizers evoke local and homegrown flavors, crafted by expert, time-honored hands. The pizza/pinza is absolutely DELICIOUS, a crunchy fruit of passion and sourdough that doesn't leave a heavy taste. Local compliments, but ALL DESERVED 👏🥓🥩🍕

15/02/2026: The girl at the counter was rude, the place was dark, and the place was very sloppy. They didn't have the drink I asked for. The girl at the counter didn't even answer me directly, but from a distance, while she was doing other things, and she responded unkindly.

28/10/2025: For breakfast, quick lunches, and aperitifs, it's the best. All the staff are friendly and polite, which is rare. Parking is impossible at certain times.

22/10/2025: Good coffee near the L'Aquila hospital, good pastries, and a youthful atmosphere. Coffee roasted on-site. Well done.

23/01/2026: I was a fan when they opened. But year after year, it seems the food gets worse, and the service too... A station, yes, but the taste has gone elsewhere. Too bad!

12/10/2025: The pizza is delicious, the leavening and dough are the same at all Alice-branded pizzerias. At 8 pm on Sunday, there's no pizza left. I understand we're in a very small town, but a few things need to be reconsidered.

26/01/2026: A lovely, welcoming place. A friend and I went for lunch on a Saturday and, even though there wasn't anyone else in the village yet, we were greeted with a warm welcome and kindness from the owner, who made us feel at home. We ate very well and paid just as much, considering that we also bought the lentils in their soup, which were the best. Definitely worth returning.

01/01/2026: Terrible pinsa Aquilana is not your profession, a drunk staff member who after a two-hour wait doesn't even tell you that the dish is no longer available, distracted waitresses, and clearly the wait to pay was even longer amidst the noise and the staff who don't pay attention to you. The only thing I appreciate is the local ham, which was excellent. The location wasn't bad at all, I can't comment on the cocktails as I didn't have the chance to order them, but overall... DO NOT GO THERE. If there are more than one negative comment, perhaps your performative responses are losing their edge. Instead, acknowledge your shortcomings and try to offer at least decent service. I won't say good because that would be too much to expect given the starting point.
