10/07/2025: I've known her for years, and I usually reserve trays there for special occasions, like birthdays, etc. The lady is incredibly kind! I'd go back a thousand times just for the service, and the pizzas are always beautiful and delicious! If you're craving a quick pizza, it's the best in L'Aquila! 🏰

30/04/2025: The best pizza by the slice in L'Aquila. Canguro in Via Strinella, not to be confused with the others. All the kindness and courtesy of the Employees takes second place. Prices absolutely normal Take the filling with bresaola, rocket and parmesan flakes.

25/08/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, with a beautiful and relaxing panoramic view, whether you sit inside or on the terrace. The food is exquisite; the venison with red berry sauce is truly excellent. The meat is high-quality, and the first and second courses are all exceptional. You can taste the homemade dishes. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

17/08/2025: I have been a customer for more than twenty years. Yesterday, August 16, 2025, we ate three first courses, a platter for two. I pointed out to the owner that they were disgusting and tasteless. He replied, "Unfortunately, there are many customers today." This is not the response of a restaurant owner. It is not acceptable. My response in return was, "The prices are always justified only by the price list and by poor service." Bye Gianluca, never again.

24/04/2025: Meravigliosa location un bellissimo panorama sulla vallata, ampio parcheggio, ottimo l’ arredamento e di gusto che richiama lo stile montano, meraviglioso camino, dal proprietario al personale gentile, pronto ad ogni esigenza del cliente, abbondanti gli antipasti che vanno dagli affettati alla polenta a varie combinazioni con fagioli ceci ortaggi, vasta scelta di primi e secondi, ben fornita e di qualità la cantina, ottima la pasticceria.

18/03/2025: Bella e tipica costruzione che rispecchia i canoni della montagna ampio parcheggio panorama eccezionale della vallata sottostante, all’interno arredamenti di qualità, ben disposti che favoriscono la conversazione, meraviglioso il camino imponente al centro del locale, il proprietario affabile e cortese, il personale discreto e solerte sempre con un sorriso, il menù è composto da tre scelte antipasti e primo antipasti e secondo o primo e secondo, buoni e numerosi gli antipasti, ottimo il primo con ragù pasta fatta in casa melanzane e zucchine, strepitosa la tagliata di carne morbida e di qualità. Il prezzo rispecchia il locale e la qualità del mangiato.

The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, surrounded by nature and the silence of the forest. The menu offers traditional Abruzzo dishes, cooked with simplicity and great care: authentic flavors, generous portions, and quality ingredients that truly reflect the region. The service is friendly and welcoming; we felt more like guests than customers. A perfect place for those who want to combine the pleasure of a day outdoors with an authentic gastronomic experience, immersed in the heart of the Majella. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: Chosen for a quick dinner after a stroll around Santo Stefano. The lentil soup was excellent, as were the gnocchi with ragù. The waiter who served us was courteous. The service was more than timely. Good value for money.

17/08/2025: Da Rita Celano. It's not a given in this historical moment to find the kind of welcome and love you find when you step inside Ristorante Da Rita. Carefully prepared food, homemade with love, just like grandma would make it. The first courses are excellent no matter what you choose, generous portions and local ingredients. The second courses are as good as the first courses, as are the side dishes. The kindness of the owners, however, is the true value of this restaurant, which deserves every star possible and more. The pizza is superb and worth a try. Easy to digest, well-seasoned, thin, and delicious!!!! Make a reservation so you don't miss out! 21/07/2025: This restaurant is located along the highway and is worth stopping by for a quick lunch. Gluten-free pasta is also available. The entrees were delicious and well-portioned. The service was friendly and quick. The price was average.
