Pizzeria Ristorante "La Fonte" In Pacentro

One of the reasons we come to Italy is to slow down and enjoy the culture, pace of living. Truly exemplified, when you eat in the middle of this square and leave Aperitivo on one side with Gigi and head over to Fonte for dinner. we’ve done lunch, we’ve done dinner multiple times, remind yourself you’re here to slow down, have patience, enjoy the homemade bread and pizza dough along with fresh pasta, and sauces. Normally when we’re done with dinner, we are extremely relaxed, having sat outside and a beautiful setting and eating good food at an exceptionally economical price. You need to make a reservation. And if you’re gonna have pizza, you should let them know, a lot of people in the community take them home to eat as a to go item, so if your dining in and want pizza, let them know ahead of time to save you some.

Returning to the village (the most beautiful village in Italy) by zipline, we decided to sit down and opt for the special menu, with a choice of a first course, a second course with a choice of either side, and a jug of water, bread, and cover charge included. The service is youthful and very simple, the cuisine is home-style and the dishes are cooked as if you were at grandma's house 😋

A gloomy and cool day in Pacentro, but a welcome break at the welcoming "La Fonte" restaurant, where tradition and flavor blend together to create cuisine with authentic local flavors.

Delicious lunch. We always enjoy dinner including the pizza. But today, it was lunch. Lasagna to be exact and it was simple yet flavorful and filling. Franca is a great cook, homemade breads to pasta. Try, be patient and enjoy the flavors.

A small pizzeria in the center of Pacentro with a truly beautiful location, perfect after a stroll through the village. The pizza is decent, honest, and unpretentious. Its strong point is the quality-price ratio: you spend little and eat in a setting that alone is worth the stop. Ideal for a break while visiting the town.
