07/09/2025: I had several lunches and dinners at La Monachina during a business trip, and I highly recommend it. The food is excellent, from the starters to the main courses, to the pinsa. The staff is very friendly and the service impeccable.

12/10/2025: We went for lunch today for the first time. We didn't know you had to reserve a table, but they still found us a table for two. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the service was wonderful. The guys and owner were very kind, friendly, and helpful. We'll definitely be back! Thank you.

02/09/2025: A TRUE FAMILY-RUN TRATTORIA PIZZERIA, courtesy, hospitality, simplicity, and excellent cuisine, as is the pizzeria. We were welcomed by a simple and warm dining room, with a record player playing vinyl, perfectly in keeping with the evening. Simple, home-cooked cuisine with daily specials. Everything was wonderful, highly recommended!!!

28/08/2025: Beautiful location, excellent food, top-notch staff and waiters, especially Irene, who was very kind and friendly. I also used the rooms for two nights. It's a medieval tower, so there's a hint of history. I highly recommend it.

24/08/2025: We had an appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, and various legumes. The pappardelle with white wild boar was very tasty. The traditional cuisine was a bit heavy. The service was attentive.

The photo speaks for itself; something like this should never happen. I can't imagine what other monsters might be lurking among the dishes in the kitchen...

18/09/2025: I had the pleasure of staying at Albergo Montereale Thomas and also trying their restaurant: an experience I highly recommend. The hotel is welcoming and well-maintained, with clean, comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The location is convenient for both business travelers and those exploring the area. The restaurant was a real surprise: tasty dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The portions are generous, the presentation is meticulous, and the service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is familiar yet elegant, perfect for relaxing dinners or convivial gatherings. A strong point is definitely the helpfulness and kindness of the staff, always ready to satisfy every need with a smile. In short: authentic hospitality, excellent cuisine, and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

12/09/2025: I'll start by saying I've never used the hotel, but the trattoria takes you back in time. What can I say? The food here is excellent, using local produce at very reasonable prices. The friendly, fast, and family-friendly service immediately puts you at ease, making it feel like you're having lunch with friends. It's a regular stop whenever I'm in the area. And I forgot, the portions are generous.

24/08/2025: Simple and welcoming atmosphere, very kind and helpful staff. We had pizzas, skewers, and focaccias, which were excellent and unique. Overall, a good value. Highly recommended!

10/06/2025: Best pizza I have had in Europe! Seriously… Thin crust with all fresh ingredients. We also had a Greek salad that was light and delightful. Beautiful wine list. Nothing but good things to say! It was so fun to interact with the owner and the cook of this wonderful restaurant. We were able to sit outside in their beautiful patio. Impressed by lots of locals enjoying the restaurant as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant. But come early they filled right up!

07/05/2025: We had already eaten in this bar-pizzeria-diner, because it was the only place open for lunch in Rocca di Mezzo. We had a very good time, so we wanted to repeat the experience. The place is very small and offers only three tables to sit at, but usually, you expect very little. The choice of dishes, apart from the pizzeria, is limited: 4/5 first courses (excellent soups), as many second courses (try the roast caciotta) and side dishes. More choice for desserts (the tarts are delicious). The menu, on the other hand, varies very often. The icing on the cake is the friendliness and courtesy of the ladies who always welcomed us with a smile.

30/04/2025: Avevamo già mangiato in questo bar-pizzeria-tavola calda, perché era l'unico locale aperto a pranzo a Rocca di Mezzo. Ci eravamo trovati molto bene, per cui abbiamo voluto ripetere l'esperienza. Il locale è molto piccolo ed offre solo tre tavoli per potersi sedere, ma solitamente, si aspetta molto poco. La scelta delle pietanze, a parte la pizzeria, è limitata: 4/5 primi (ottime le zuppe), altrettanti i secondi (da provare la caciotta arrosto) ed i contorni. Più scelta per i dolci (buonissime le crostate). Il menù, in compenso, varia molto spesso. La ciliegina sulla torta è la simpatia e la cortesia delle signore che ci hanno sempre accolto con un sorriso.

07/09/2025: We booked last minute. Emanuele, the guy who told us he had a double room with twin beds, but when we arrived, he had a double bed waiting for us. Thank you so much! The room wasn't very well-maintained, but it was really clean and quiet. We decided to eat in the restaurant downstairs, and what can I say? It was truly amazing. I highly recommend the platter for two with all the local tastings, which features practically everything... a fair price! We'll be back!

Nonostante il locale fosse quasi al completo, il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale ci ha fatto sentire davvero i benvenuti. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo ci ha positivamente colpiti: porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e una cura evidente nella presentazione dei piatti. Un plauso speciale agli gnocchi, semplicemente deliziosi! Complimenti sinceri a tutto lo staff, alla proprietaria Cristina per la professionalità e l’attenzione dimostrata. Un’esperienza che ci ha lasciati pienamente soddisfatti.
