04/05/2025: Definitely satisfied with the lunch, exquisite dishes, both the first course we shared and the second courses, my fillet was perfect, I felt the good quality of the raw materials and the cuisine. I was surprised by the place, clean and well-kept, and by the exceptional service, very young but very attentive and prepared guys, it's nice, waiting times between perfect dishes, a place certainly above the average for the area, very good!!! 23/02/2025: Sono qui a scrivere questa recensione e un pò mi piange il cuore, poiché è una struttura che conosco bene e nella quale ho festeggiato diverse ricorrenze, tra cui 18, 50, 80 anni e cresime. Non rimpiango la scelta perché sono sempre stato bene in questa struttura e di solito ho sempre mangiato bene. Il problema è che questa volta nel festeggiare gli 80 anni di mio suocero, c'è stato un comportamento poco professionale del gestore. Cominciamo da subito con il servizio ai tavoli, devo dire da subito che hanno sbagliato il vino, invece del rosato che era stato preventivato, ci è stato servito invece un pecorino, passi. Premetto che la torta è stata portata da noi e non è dunque quella della struttura. Nulla da dire sugli antipasti, primi e secondi che sono cmq stati ottimi, il tempo di allontanarci per fare le foto con una torta finta, che ritroviamo al tavolo la ns torta già bella che tagliata e lo spumante già servito nei calici. Peccato che il festeggiato avrebbe voluto vedere la torta preparata apposta per lui, spegnere le candeline ed aprire lo spumante per festeggiare con gli ospiti. Tutto ciò gli è stato precluso, nonostante sia stato detto espressamente a chi di dovere che la torta e lo spumante dovevano essere portati in tavola. Quello che mi domando è perché il gestore, di sua iniziativa abbia tenuto questo comportamento, che ha non solo indispettito, fatto infuriare i commensali ma ha rovinato un giorno di festa, che pure era cominciato nel migliore dei modi. Mi trovo quindi a dover dare una recensione negativa non tanto per il mangiare quanto per il comportamento poco serio e irrispettoso del gestore, che tra l'altro ci conosce anche molto bene. Peccato perché era la ns scelta per la futura comunione di mia figlia.

19/02/2025: Tagliatelle with white lamb ragù very good, shame a little salty. Even in fried pizza a little too much salt. Very good cold cuts and cheeses in the starter. The lady who served us was very kind but the service was a little slow considering that there were only us and three other people (probably busy with home orders). Very nice place but unpleasant interior decor. (obviously personal opinion not shared).

19/05/2025: Restaurant with a beautiful view of Celano and Fucino. We went for lunch, we didn't take pictures but we tasted: appetizers of cold cuts, cheeses, mixed bruschetta (the one with tomato is crazy🤤) we also tasted the gnocchi with deer ragù as a first course, with home-made flavors. Then we ordered mixed grill, generous portion, scottona steak (absolutely tender), Tagliata with rocket, pachino and parmesan, and chicken with citrus fruits. All the dishes were abundant and tasty. As for desserts: chocolate cake, berry cake and a tiramisu made for Narcisia of infinite goodness. The prices are good, if you compare them with the quantity and quality. A place to definitely return.

07/05/2025: Pizzeria, braceria ottima, servizio attento e veloce, molto buoni i piatti e le pizze . Incredibile la pulizia del locale ! Locale ampio ma non rumoroso. Veramente molto molto buono!

26/04/2025: Ottima scelta tra antipasti, pizze e carne. Piacevolissima la zuppa di farro di benvenuto. Ci siamo trovati così bene che siamo tornati per due sere consecutive. Consigliamo di prenotare che si riempie facilmente.

05/05/2025: The hotel is in a small village hit by the Montereale Abruzzo earthquake but the people who run it are fabulous. Thomas is a fantastic person and with him his staff, excellent food, the tarts and the donut made by his mother are fabulous, the thing that fills the heart is that those who live there have rolled up their sleeves and are doing everything to make life better, my motorcyclist friends and I will be back because we didn't visit everything in the evening....

07/05/2025: We had already eaten in this bar-pizzeria-diner, because it was the only place open for lunch in Rocca di Mezzo. We had a very good time, so we wanted to repeat the experience. The place is very small and offers only three tables to sit at, but usually, you expect very little. The choice of dishes, apart from the pizzeria, is limited: 4/5 first courses (excellent soups), as many second courses (try the roast caciotta) and side dishes. More choice for desserts (the tarts are delicious). The menu, on the other hand, varies very often. The icing on the cake is the friendliness and courtesy of the ladies who always welcomed us with a smile.

30/04/2025: Avevamo già mangiato in questo bar-pizzeria-tavola calda, perché era l'unico locale aperto a pranzo a Rocca di Mezzo. Ci eravamo trovati molto bene, per cui abbiamo voluto ripetere l'esperienza. Il locale è molto piccolo ed offre solo tre tavoli per potersi sedere, ma solitamente, si aspetta molto poco. La scelta delle pietanze, a parte la pizzeria, è limitata: 4/5 primi (ottime le zuppe), altrettanti i secondi (da provare la caciotta arrosto) ed i contorni. Più scelta per i dolci (buonissime le crostate). Il menù, in compenso, varia molto spesso. La ciliegina sulla torta è la simpatia e la cortesia delle signore che ci hanno sempre accolto con un sorriso.

An enormous choice of gins, all high-level labels, ditto for the tonics, the not at all obvious combination of the two elements together with spices and fragrances with Henry's mastery and empathy make for a gin and tonic experience that is absolutely worth trying.

The menu is very wide and tasty with many different alternatives that will surely be able to satisfy all potential tastes. Both the pizza and the calzone were exquisite, the choice of beers from the local brewery was also excellent. Highly recommended place for everyone
