05/08/2025: Gorgeous place, meticulously maintained, excellent seafood. The staff is simply wonderful, go there with your eyes closed. The price is in line with the quality of the food. P.S. I'm gluten intolerant and they didn't turn me down for anything...including fried food 😋

13/08/2025: I was in Milan with a patient at the Besta Institute. I found this place online. I ordered a buffalo mozzarella pizza. Spectacular. Very friendly staff.

12/09/2025: Firstly, I would say the price isn't updated and now it's 26.9 euro with 2 euro service fee, and with mandatory drinking ordering. Therefore, 30 euro for buffet on average. When it comes to food favor, I would give a 75-80 points. A lot of choices but remember that different types has different numbers. If you want try more different sushi, it would be be to ask before ordering.

01/09/2025: Let me start by saying this is my second time there. And I rarely write reviews unless I'm treated very well or, conversely, very poorly. The girl inside was very nice and kind with a lovely smile, and the quality of the ice cream was average. The other person next to me, a man in his fifties, very cheerful and greeting everyone inside the ice cream shop (I don't know if he was the owner), whispered to the ice cream maker, "Give this guy less ice cream." How sad.

04/09/2025: What a wonderful lunch at this gem near the cruise port! The authentic Italian meal was phenomenal, with delicious food and wine that kept coming. My favorite thing was this restaurant—skip the port and city to experience true Italy! An unforgettable afternoon!

03/09/2025: We only made it as far as the parking lot. We didn't dare go any further. It's NOT a restaurant. It's a family-run business offering a set menu for €40. There's no freedom of choice when it comes to food. You have to like it. We skipped it.

24/08/2025: We stopped by on our last day of vacation for lunch. The lasagna and piadina were excellent. Giuseppe, the owner, was very friendly and had a quick wit, a true Romagnolo. 👍🏻 We'll definitely be back next year.

20/08/2025: It's always nice to return to Gatto Blu after a stroll in the beautiful surrounding woods. This time, however, we found the cuisine more "experimental," undoubtedly good, but for our tastes, not very in keeping with the spirit of the place. Or perhaps, who knows, compared to the winter menu, it's easier to infuse it with oriental ingredients, which, honestly, we don't feel the need for here. The chef is skilled and the result is delightful, but the desire to innovate doesn't necessarily have to take exotic paths. We'll always return, hoping to find more consistency with the local area.

26/07/2025: Un ottimo pranzo tra amici. La location è spettacolare, abbiamo pranzato fuori in un cortile delizioso e curato, i tavoli erano ben distanziati quindi nonostante il locale fosse pieno abbiamo pranzato nella tranquillità. I piatti deliziosi, uno più buono dell'altro . Servizio cortese, piacevole, non invadente, è così bello interagire con persone che amano il proprio lavoro! un pranzo eccellente sotto tutti i punti di vista. Mi ha colpito anche il menu, ha disegni stupendi e mi ha lasciato un'idea di grande cura nei dettagli , con un tocco artistico e quindi unico. Una bellissima giornata. Non vedo l'ora di tornare.

24/08/2025: We've been wanting to go to Al Vecchio Forno for a while, and we finally made it during our short stay in Barletta. The location is elegant and welcoming. The entire staff was professional and friendly. We had one appetizer and two main courses, both very good and high-quality. The homemade desserts were also fabulous. We'll be back soon.

23/08/2025: Are you allergic? Don't go! At dinner with friends, we chose the house mixed appetizers and declared one of us to be allergic to nuts. The waiter, after going to the kitchen to inquire, returned and said, "All appetizers do NOT contain nuts." Unfortunately, however, as we ate, we realized the tuna had a sauce with nuts! We decided to leave immediately to monitor our allergic friend who had eaten the dish and to have easy access to emergency services if necessary. From then on, we realized the waiters didn't even know the difference between an intolerance and an allergy. The owner didn't even apologize, and when pressed, simply said "human error" and gave us the bill. Unfortunately, this was an unacceptable mistake that, if we hadn't had an antihistamine on hand and a lot of luck, could have cost us our lives. The superficiality with which something like this was handled leaves us truly bitter and frightened. We hope this report will be helpful in the future. Please be careful!

29/08/2025: I got the strawberry and traditional ones, both were delicious, but I liked the strawberry one better. The waiter is friendly. I made a mistake when ordering, and he was super friendly. The service is generally very good with tourists.

28/08/2025: Jupiter himself could have arrived and never tasted such ambrosia before. The tiramisu feels divine, like a dessert worthy of the gods. Each bite carries a heavenly balance of flavor and texture. It truly transcends ordinary sweetness into something unforgettable.

06/07/2025: The menu is richer than the one indicated because they have trapizzini and supplì that vary. Excellent supplì mushrooms and sausage and croquettes potatoes and cod. Very good trapizzino chicken alla cacciatora. Very good desserts, all made by them. They also do take away and home delivery.
