20/07/2025: Spurred on by the excellent reviews, we also went for dinner during the week. We ate mostly meat, excellent tagliata, mixed meats, and even burgers! The atmosphere and service were homey but of excellent quality, with smiling and very kind waitresses. The homemade desserts were very interesting, and the bill was very reasonable! (Looking at the adjacent tables, the pizzas also looked really good.)

The incredible flavors, created by the heart and soul of two wonderful and excellent chefs, materialize in dishes that are beyond special and rich in ancient flavors, such as the fettuccine, strictly homemade, with a white pigeon sauce... PHENOMENAL! The expert cooking, beyond perfect, pairs perfectly with the highest-quality ingredients that the two chefs use with incredible skill. The aroma of the bread, also homemade, is a caress for the soul. The lamb chops with green beans are unparalleled. The breaded and fried rabbit is sublime. The meat is cooked with a stopwatch. A perfect contrast between the crispy, perfectly uniform exterior and the incredibly tender interior, for both lamb and rabbit. Spectacular! For the Dentramelia chefs, cooking is a true art, a journey through sight, smell, and taste, but above all through the feelings and emotions that a chef, by preparing his dishes, can evoke in those who enjoy them. All this makes an ordinary dish uncommon. Dentramelia's cuisine is pure talent, the rediscovery of a pure and genuine tradition, all Italian. Emotions of the soul were enhanced by Yuri's smiles and infinite kindness. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the excellent quality of the raw materials. 13/07/2025: A small restaurant in the center of Amelia, with simple furnishings and discreet, impeccable service. The local cuisine selection is limited, but meticulously prepared. I highly recommend the excellent homemade pasta, which makes you feel like you're being pampered by your grandmother: the briciola is wonderful, the pigeon ragù excellent. The house wine is a wonderful local red, and the food and drink are excellent at very reasonable prices.

02/09/2025: I stayed with my family from August 20th to 27th. A simply wonderful, fantastic location, super quiet and well-maintained in every aspect. Absolutely excellent location for nearby Otranto and the nearby beaches of Salento. Giusy and Giuseppe, like all the staff, are exceptional people, always present and available. They make you feel at ease from the first moment. It's hard to find a flaw. The pool is superb, the rooms are spacious and always clean... breakfast, well, what can I say? Their products are top-quality. Wonderful holiday. We will return, but in a few days. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

08/07/2025: It's fine for a work break. The food is good. A little too noisy, partly because of the TVs blasting loud music. It's difficult to talk. Some items have decent portions, others are a bit skimpy for the price.

21/06/2025: Dinner with a table of about fifteen people. Very noisy environment that almost prevented you from talking to the person sitting in front. Half of the table that took dishes of food was served in reasonable time, but those who took pizza waited more than 1 hour. But it is impossible to have a pizza chef work alone on evenings with 100 people. The fried fish maliciously hid some French fries (which were not listed on the menu). The pizzas were raw and pale underneath. I recommend only for dinners of kids who are not in a hurry and who eat everything

10/09/2025: Very family-friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, and the owner is the soul of this restaurant. The only flaw is that the tables are too close together, but that's typical of osterias. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour between our appetizer and main course. The waitress apologized for the wait, but they probably had some issues with the kitchen since the place was so busy. The food was high-quality and truly good. We'll give it a second chance.

04/09/2025: We had a great time at Baita Lovara. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the bathrooms are clean, and the food is truly delicious. The location is also very convenient: right at the end of the Mega Bugs trail. A nice touch for families: they bring colorful placemats and crayons to the table for the kids, a detail that makes them feel right at home. Recommended!

Beautiful location surrounded by nature, at the arrival point of the new MegaBugs trail and just above the arrival point of the Prati di Gaggia cable car. TOP-NOTCH!
