14/10/2025: This place is first and foremost a wine bar (the dedicated room is downstairs), complemented by excellent cuisine and a bar. The menu written on chalkboards on the walls is a delightful idea! Fast and precise service, courteous, smiling, and helpful staff. Generous portions and fresh, very tasty food: meat and vegetarian options are available. In addition to wines by the glass (from €2.50), various bottles for just €13, delicious desserts, numerous original first courses, and meat-based main courses with potatoes and whole-wheat polenta, their famous focaccia deserves a special mention (see my photos), available in many variations. I should also point out that the bread and pasta are made in-house. The place is welcoming, well-furnished, with very comfortable tables, chairs, and benches. Parking is located in front of the place. Given its small size, I recommend booking in advance for dinner. We'll definitely be back for more of the sausage-stuffed quail and shank! Tender meats, very flavorful thanks to the perfect balance of spices. The potatoes are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside thanks to a great crust. It's a joy to find this kind of place, not to mention the great price! A truly satisfying experience!

15/11/2025: Good service, especially from the lady I observed who runs the place. As soon as the older gentleman got involved, the atmosphere was ruined. He felt completely out of place. And the "Pizza Carbonara" was a joke: selling a tomato pizza with mozzarella and garlic as carbonara is almost an insult in Italy. Completely off-topic – absolutely not recommended. It has incredible potential... but the owner doesn't seem to care much.

03/12/2025: I went to this Neapolitan restaurant and the food was truly amazing. They have a huge variety: pizzas, pastas, appetizers… a little bit of everything, all with that homemade touch that makes you want to order half the menu. Plus, the prices are surprisingly good, which is practically a miracle these days. Now, the only downside was the waiter, who seemed completely uninterested in socializing. He wasn't rude, but he didn't give the impression that he was thrilled to see me either. Basically, he was just there because he had to be. Even so, for the food and the price, I would definitely go back. I just hope I catch someone in a better mood next time.

02/11/2025: Six Americans walking a pilgrimage route on a rainy day found their way here for dinner. We can’t imagine having had a better dinner experience. Delicious drinks and food, kind and patient service despite our Italian language inadequacies, and incredible value for the whole experience. 02/10/2025: A small, well-kept hotel, impeccably clean, and with great attention to detail. The owner is kind and helpful, and the staff is courteous and professional. Dinner at the lido was fantastic; eating by the sea at sunset was priceless, and the food was delicious. We felt truly pampered.

21/09/2025: It's impossible not to leave a review for this hotel in Ascea, Elea. I'm not usually inclined to write reviews, but this one is truly an exception. It's not my first time there, and every stay is a confirmation: the rooms are impeccable, so clean you'll want to walk barefoot without a care in the world. The furnishings are thoughtfully designed and create a welcoming atmosphere. Furthermore, the Sciabbecco beach bar, right on the beach, is a true gastronomic paradise, with dishes prepared by Anna Paola's husband, the manager, that are truly delicious. An experience I absolutely recommend to anyone seeking relaxation and quality.

28/08/2025: We're so happy with our choice of this hotel. We had a wonderful week. The location is excellent, just steps from the sea. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is plentiful and varied, with homemade cakes. The best thing about this hotel is the kindness and hospitality of the staff. A wonderful discovery. 11/10/2025: Tried it over the weekend. Not too many people, which was a bit strange. Anyway, the pizza was okay, even if it wasn't wow. The service was good, but it wasn't crowded. But the bill? Nowadays, a Florentine steak costs less. I'd say no.

09/11/2025: The atmosphere is intimate, there aren't many seats, but with a good reservation you can get around it. The farinata comes in a variety of flavors, and is the "real" kind: well-cooked, well-browned, not too greasy or too little, with quality flours that are immediately noticeable on the palate despite the toppings... In short, as a basic dish, one could say: excellent...next time we'll try the other options!! Congratulations again to all the staff and to the chef, pizza chef, and baker!!!
