I completely understand the price increases and the value of artisanal work, but I believe the customer's perspective is still important. Prices may be "in line with the area," but it's always the final experience that determines the perception of quality and fairness of the cost. As Henry Ford said, "True progress is when technology is accessible to everyone"—in the same way, I believe the true success of a pastry shop is managing to keep excellence accessible to its customers.

08/11/2025: The first time I came in, I ordered croissants, and I can finally say I've eaten a filled croissant in Florence. The bar is very large and beautiful. I'll definitely be back.

24/10/2025: A genuine, homey place that stands out from the other ho-hum places in the touristy and gentrified Pigneto area. Simple but very good food, made with genuine ingredients, and reasonably priced by today's standards. A unique atmosphere (both inside and out). Reservations recommended. Maurizio has his own character, but you can't help but love him. If you want a "combed and tamed" experience or a thousand-course menu, head to the pedestrian area (yuck).

They charged me the holiday price even though it was a Saturday.
I asked for an explanation because the link where you order the dishes showed the regular price for non-holidays. I was simply dismissed by the waiter saying that he made a mistake in writing it down on the menu. He also pointed out that the sign at the entrance states the higher price on holidays, but it doesn't specify Saturday, so the price increase shouldn't have been added.
Terrible customer service; we won't be going there again.
12/11/2025: I've been here twice now, and I've always had a great meal, from appetizers to dessert. I think it's some of the best sushi in the area. The place is small but intimate, which isn't a bad thing. The girls are very nice and kind. The food is delicious, and not just the sushi... I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend it.

16/08/2025: We were on vacation in Scalea and decided to eat here at the last minute. We were very satisfied because everything was very good and carefully prepared. Mr. Vincenzo, the dining room manager, was very kind and professional. He even helped us choose the most suitable items for children since we didn't have much experience with Japanese food. I highly recommend it.
16/08/2025: Nice restaurant, sushi was pretty good, ramen was not too great (was instant noodles) service was good.

19/11/2025: Excellent bar-corner-creperie in the center of Bari. You can find delicious croissants that you can fill as you like, or follow the suggested proposals. Also available are delicious crepes (my favorite is the Sconnessa crepes with smarties). Definitely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The ideal place for a delicious break at the end of the evening. Highly recommended.
01/11/2025: We spent 4 days in Bari. We started every morning at Il Dolcetto with coffee and a delicious breakfast and ended every evening there. The pancakes, croissants, sandwiches are all divinely delicious and there are lots of sweet pastries, the names of which we don't know, but they are all heavenly. All the staff are extremely nice and friendly, we didn't even think of trying any other cafe during our stay. ☺️

24/11/2025: We were a party of four. The atmosphere was elegant, very warm and welcoming. You felt at home and at ease. The dishes were good and satisfying. The only surprise was the final price of the dinner, which in our opinion was rather expensive. That's the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars.

06/11/2025: Unfortunately, I had much higher expectations. The premises are beautiful, but we were not satisfied with the food. The soup was a mixture of coarse vegetables with soaked bread (such leftovers from the kitchen). I would have taken it for granted that there were seasonings for the food, but there was neither salt nor pepper on the table, and if you want oil, you only have to buy a bottle... I have never experienced that and I was unpleasantly surprised. The price was also quite a shock considering that it was a little bit of vegetables and vegetarian gnocchi. I really do not recommend it.. I am sorry I chose this restaurant :(
16/10/2025: It was exceptionally good. Typical local, fresh cuisine. I enjoyed the handmade pici with porcini and a Soranese sausage specialty so much that I dreamed about them and would have loved to have them again for breakfast. Everything else we ordered was just as good. A definite recommendation and a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic regional cuisine.
The service was friendly.

Booked by my daughter, who lives nearby,
for a family dinner.
The restaurant is spacious and well-kept, and even though there were a lot of people, the space is spacious. We shared the appetizer; with two people, four ate. The first courses were very good, as were the second courses!!
We really appreciated the fact that Diego, the owner and chef, personally comes out with the boiled meat cart and explains the various meats served with pearà and other homemade sauces. A special thanks to the waiters, very kind, knowledgeable, helpful, "fast," and precise.
Attentive to the customer, attentive to what could be missing from the table.
Well done!!!!
The parking lot is very large.
Highly recommended!!!
