14/10/2025: I've visited this place in previous years. The main courses were excellent, but I was a bit concerned about the first courses; I noticed cream everywhere (even in the sorbet).
The staff was impeccable, attentive but never pushy. The place was noisy due to a somewhat rowdy table; evidently, we weren't as lucky as on previous occasions.
02/10/2025: A restaurant whose exterior doesn't reflect its beauty inside. The food is truly excellent in a warm and refined atmosphere, albeit without excess, with a pleasant permanent exhibition of paintings on the walls. Service is attentive but not intrusive, and the quality of the food is truly excellent. I had the tartare, freshly seasoned at the table by the owner, and it was the best I've ever had! The desserts are also excellent, and the wine list is extensive. Good value for money.

12/04/2026: Extremely disappointed by the food. The polenta was undercooked, and the dishes were inconsistent. Even though there were 5 out of 8 of us who ordered the same set menu, we received 5 different variations. The fish was undercooked and too dry. This isn't the Valdostana cuisine I'm used to.
Aside from the two young waiters who were attentive and friendly (thank you to them), the service was barely polite. We arrived a little early; the restaurant was open, but we weren't allowed to use the restrooms. We had to practically beg for a greeting, and then we were yelled at when our order arrived because we hadn't understood it.
12/04/2026: Don't forget the absinthe at the end, with its accompanying hammer blow to the head.

21/12/2025: A small pastry shop with limited seating inside. We had breakfast here, filled with high hopes, fueled by TikTok videos. We spent €35 for two juices, a cappuccino, a coffee, a croissant, three mini pastries, and two pastries from the counter. The wait was too long because we had to wait for them to take our order at the table, even though they only had two children. Luckily, after paying this insane amount, a table became available, but I think the advertising is excessive for the service offered. Not recommended.
29/11/2025: A well-stocked pastry shop and café opposite Place Chanoux.
It's not exactly cheap, but the pastries are really good.
Recommended for a coffee break.

04/01/2026: Elegant. Very professional and thorough reception staff. Excellent restaurant service with truly knowledgeable staff, both for breakfast in the morning and for dinner in the evening. Compliments to the chef. The pool is used a lot by the grandchildren.

01/04/2026: The food was pretty good, the fish was excellent, and the prices were all reasonable.
The people, unfortunately, were super stressed and always annoyed; a couple of times I felt like I was being a nuisance. I work in the industry and know how hard it can be to keep a smile on our faces, but they pay us for that too.
21/11/2025: We decided to organize our son's 18th birthday party, inspired by friends' recommendations and by having already had lunch here on a Sunday. We were completely satisfied on both occasions. The pizza was very good, as were the meat-based main courses. For my son's birthday, however, we opted for a fish menu. What can I say! Everything was delicious: fresh, high-quality food, perfectly cooked. The fish appetizer and two fish main courses (fried and grilled) were truly spectacular! We couldn't have made a better choice, and besides the deliciousness, the presentation in the middle of the table was a real eye-catcher. There were 18 of us, and everyone appreciated and complimented us on our choice. Thank you for the service, the friendliness, and the excellent, plentiful food. Keep up the good work, see you next time!
