11/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati per cena , di passaggio da Aosta , che fortuna aver trovato La Bottegaccia . Abbiamo assaggiato il lardo d'Arnard con le castgne al miele ( ne abbiamo preso un vaso ! ) , la carne maussad e una fonduta valdostana . La sig.ra Danila ci ha suggerito il vino La Sabla , un abbinamento perfetto ! abbiamo degustato dei patti tipici veramente da leccarsi i baffi !!!! Se passate/andta in Val d' Aosta DOVETE fermarvi a La Bottegaccia ! Grazie a Danila da Eleonora & Bruno di Trieste !

20/06/2025: Plats valdotains de qualité avec une explication de leurs ingrédients et leurs provenances, en français et avec le sourire de la patronne. Rapport qualité prix excellent. De nombreux vins de la région sont proposés. A découvrir absolument.

21/12/2025: Misleading Advertising Unfriendly service from the start: the waiter seemed annoyed, especially when one of us only ordered a drink. A Sunday promotion was clearly visible on the table (a free slice of cake with an app subscription). I inquired before ordering, but it was postponed until later. After dinner, having signed up for the app, I asked for the advertised service. I laughed, consulted with colleagues, and the final response was: "The promotion probably isn't active on Sundays." Ironic, considering the promotion was clearly Sunday-only. Only later did I read other reviews that reported that the promotional offers at the entrance and on the table linens were never applied. At this point, it doesn't seem like an isolated case, but rather misleading communication. A shame, because clarity and a minimum of courtesy would be enough to avoid such experiences.

08/12/2025: We've been held hostage in here for over an hour; they're probably slaughtering the cow and waiting for the bread to rise. I don't know what star to give the food; it hasn't arrived yet...

20/01/2026: Small but really cute, with just six seats. I had the ravioli filled with ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, and turnip greens, topped with butter, pistachios, and saffron: they weren't very flavorful, while my boyfriend chose the dish with roast gravy and was very pleased. The service was fast and the atmosphere simple but welcoming. Perfect for a casual and authentic lunch break!

03/02/2026: Nice, reasonably cheap and unpretentious place. Good pizza if you like the extra thin a bit crunchy style. Not a vast selection of beera, wines or spirits but what they offer is pretty decent.

28/12/2025: We dined at the Borgo Antico Restaurant and were very satisfied. The cuisine is refined, with well-crafted dishes and memorable flavors: you can sense the attention to quality and tradition. The service is truly excellent: the staff is kind, attentive, and always available, making you feel at ease from start to finish. A place where you eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended.

26/12/2025: Nicely located in the heart of the city of Aosta, between the Praetorian Gate and the Augustus Arch, this restaurant is a good pick if you like mushrooms! We had their Polenta with Porcini and it was actually extremely good.

24/12/2025: We stopped at this hotel for just one night because we were passing through, and we ate at the restaurant that evening. Dinner was delicious, the food was amazing, especially the lamb. The room was really clean. Everything was excellent.

04/02/2026: We've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. The atmosphere is very nice and refined. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The dishes are well prepared and tasty. We'll definitely be back.

03/02/2026: The food here is great and the service is great. The only complaint is that the tables have an edge all around that make it impossible to sit with your legs together and fit under the table, if that makes sense. Our kids are fine, but the adults can’t sit up properly. I still highly recommend this restaurant, just try to get a table without the skirt/lip.
