30/10/2025: A good trattoria in the center of Aosta Good local and national specialties. Four of us went, and despite the restaurant being crowded, the service was satisfactory and fast. We'll definitely be back.

28/10/2025: A guarantee! Excellent food with a wide selection of Aosta Valley dishes, premium meats, and delicious pizzas. It has plenty of seating, but reservations are recommended as it's very popular.

03/11/2025: I dined as a couple at this restaurant in the historic center of Aosta. The location is very pleasant and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is neat and clean, a bit noisy when it gets busy, but the division into two rooms mitigates the disturbance and allows for conversation during the meal. The food is tasty and the portions are more than adequate, with a varied menu catering to all palates, respecting the Aosta Valley tradition. Reservations are recommended; on weekends, dinner is usually served in two sittings. For us, this was a very welcome exception!

16/05/2025: My partner and I, in Aosta for one evening, wanted to have an aperitif. After seeing the menu we decided to stop for dinner too. We had two cocktails, excellent, and for dinner a pinsa cacio e pepe and a cheeseburger, drinking a violet spritz and an excellent craft beer. Everything was really really good and the staff is really kind and competent. Furthermore, the place is beautiful inside and has an outdoor area on the main square of Aosta. All for a more than honest price, I would like to have a place like that near my house. When we return to the area we will definitely stop at Geckoo!

09/08/2025: I'm sorry because it looked much better, but in the end they brought us a second mixed grill for four. Only the sausages were good, very good in fact, but the overcooked and inedible pork chop and the cold lamb were the final blow to our meal. I understand that we arrived at 2 PM and the grill was almost out. We were standing next to the grill and watched the dishes come out of the kitchen after a long time, but nothing was removed from the grill. Does that mean the meat was kept under a chafing dish? I can't be sure, but it wasn't acceptable.

28/09/2025: Tasty home cooking. Generous portions. Variety of dishes with seasonal ingredients. AWFUL service! Poor reception, slow order taking, sketchy and disorganized table management, orders are forgotten. RUDE OWNER!!!

15/08/2025: A gelateria (because that's the service I often frequent) that has few equals in the hinterland. Variety of flavors, creativity, and quality ingredients. Gelato always creamy and served at just the right temperature. The staff is dynamic and courteous.

10/10/2025: Beautiful characteristic restaurant in the center of Aosta, typical Aosta Valley food cooked very well. We had tagliolini with fresh porcini mushrooms, delicious, and carbonara with exceptional polenta. The meat was so tender that it could be cut with a fork. The price was normal for the quality of the food. The waiting staff and owner were very kind.
