Service and bread quality 🍞
We were lucky to find a bakery of this caliber on our second try. The focaccia was also good. Convenient parking almost in front.

10/07/2025: As I often buy their breadsticks wrapped in paper that doesn't reveal the inside, sometimes I get a nasty surprise.
Lately, they've been very overcooked, but in the last package, they were burnt with a very unpleasant burnt flavor.
I assume when you package them, you can see that they're burnt. You should dispose of them yourself, not put them on sale and have the customers who buy them dispose of them, and this isn't the first time.
Was the entire package like the one in the photo with the almost charred tips?

09/11/2025: A restaurant that offers the flavors of the valley, including dishes of Sardinian origin. It's the restaurant you wouldn't expect in the Aosta Valley, but it'll pleasantly surprise you. The gnocchi with blue cheese and walnuts are excellent. The dishes are beautifully presented, especially the desserts. There's also a wide selection of pizzas. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and the service is friendly and attentive. Dogs are welcome.
12/10/2025: Great! The only place open out of season with fast service and very friendly and welcoming staff.
The place is completely renovated with a "modern mountain" style, ideal for a diverse clientele.

02/08/2025: Perfect stop en route to Switzerland. Very good and friendly service, wonderful and very tasty pizza’s. We will definitely keep this one in our route for the next time.
30/07/2025: Small bar and pizzeria. The owners are very friendly and made room for our baby chair and dog. They literally serve the best calzone pizza (calzone farci) I ever ate. Perfect crust and filled to the brim. My husbands pizza was great too. We shared a Nutella pizza as a dessert which is always good. I definitely recommend this place!

06/11/2025: We've been going there for 40 years, and it's a regular stop when we visit Sora. Authentic cuisine, always friendly and helpful staff, the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffles is special, and the grilled meats are excellent. Super affordable! A favorite!

29/03/2026: €1.40 for a coffee, given these times, is a price we can live with. Mafrica has lofty ambitions. But 60 cents for a small glass of water undermines those ambitions and is as annoying as a salty coffee. As a coffee lover, I can tell you that this was the first place in Italy where I was charged for water.

The cappuccino was delicious, with a nice thick foam. The croissants were very good (both sweet and savory), and the staff were friendly.

10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class.
We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves.
The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.

07/02/2026: When we thought it was closed, the person making the crepes yelled at us, it's open, then by mistake we didn't close the door, he's here, he yelled at us again, then when I didn't give him 50 cents, it seemed like I had broken into his shop.

We ate very well, generous portions and good quality.
The welcome and treatment made us feel like guests, not customers.
The waiters were fantastic, but Gianni is a step ahead of the rest: welcoming, kind, and friendly.
