26/10/2025: An evening with friends turned into a truly authentic experience, dining in the "crotta" (old cellar) and enjoying good wine. This is the essence of this place, where tradition meets innovation. I personally found everything excellent, from the lard to the cotechino, and finally the tripe made just like grandma's! Highly recommended!

09/10/2025: The bread and deli are top-notch, even above average for bakeries in Sicily. I didn't try the desserts, but I did try the granita, which I didn't appreciate because it wasn't very similar to the creamy granita they make in Catania. The brioche con il tuppo, though small, was really good! Too bad it was from the day before when I got it back (dry and not as soft as the first time). They don't give receipts, but the savory pastries and bread are so good that you can forgive them for anything. Thank you for bringing a little bit of Sicily to Aosta 💓

24/08/2025: I had the pleasure of tasting a cannolo, simply exceptional. They've also expanded their offerings with the addition of a dedicated pizza area. I highly recommend this place for a high-quality culinary experience.

14/09/2025: The staff were exquisite and extremely kind, welcoming us despite the late hour. Superb setting, right next to the Porta Pretoria. The food was exceptional, tasty, and plentiful. I'll definitely be back.

08/09/2025: This trattoria is a great restaurant, ideally located next to the gate of the same name and the tourist office. The interior atmosphere is warm and tasteful. Italian is spoken (and French for those who like to eat there). The service is impeccable and friendly. The well-cooked dishes feature local specialties. I enjoyed a Barbera wine from Piedmont, directly from the owner's agroturismo (digital the waiter).

04/09/2025: The restaurant was clean, bright, and well-decorated. The waiter was very kind and professional, but the owner was a bit strange. The pasta was good and plentiful, although more attention should be paid to the quality of the ingredients because the bacon on the plate was only the fat, so I skipped it. The bread was terrible quality; if you don't want to buy it from a good baker, try breadsticks and you'll look better. Prices were average.

21/07/2025: Anyone passing through Aosta, whether on their way to the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, or wherever, absolutely must stop for a piadina at Paola's... not only is it the best piadina you'll ever eat, but she's also an incredible person.

08/10/2025: Had cheese fondue, it was lukewarm, and had a very maizena like structure taste in the mouth. Like it was from “a package with cheese powder with water or milk added” instead of freshly made. It was also extremely fast - we ordered it and within 3min we got it served. Seems impossible for melted cheese fondue.

08/10/2025: Don’t recommend the Cheesefondue, It was one of the worst I ever tasted… I had the impression that it was cheesepowder with milk. Service was fast and staff was kind.

12/08/2025: Jessica is a fairy, she manages to put every customer at ease. A magical environment that exudes a sense of positivity. Excellent service, both for food and drinks. Top-notch breakfasts. Great professional.

07/10/2025: The focus here is primarily on wine, with snacks being an afterthought. The place is busy; Enzo is obviously known in town (they greet each other), and the fact that locals stop by is a sure sign that it's good. And yes: the waiter knows what he's recommending, and the local wine, a Gewürztraminer, was really good. Value for money and friendliness: just right, and you'll enjoy coming here! Top-notch.

02/09/2025: Dinner with friends on April 12, 2025. Pleasant and relaxing place, with just the right lighting, good acoustics, and comfortable chairs and tables. Impeccable service. Excellent food quality and beautiful presentation. We'll be back and definitely recommend.

11/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati per cena , di passaggio da Aosta , che fortuna aver trovato La Bottegaccia . Abbiamo assaggiato il lardo d'Arnard con le castgne al miele ( ne abbiamo preso un vaso ! ) , la carne maussad e una fonduta valdostana . La sig.ra Danila ci ha suggerito il vino La Sabla , un abbinamento perfetto ! abbiamo degustato dei patti tipici veramente da leccarsi i baffi !!!! Se passate/andta in Val d' Aosta DOVETE fermarvi a La Bottegaccia ! Grazie a Danila da Eleonora & Bruno di Trieste !

20/06/2025: Plats valdotains de qualité avec une explication de leurs ingrédients et leurs provenances, en français et avec le sourire de la patronne. Rapport qualité prix excellent. De nombreux vins de la région sont proposés. A découvrir absolument.
