01/08/2024: Servizio molto gentile. Cibo rustico e tipico. Prezzi giusti. Dog friendly e family friendly. Assolutamente da provare.

26/03/2025: There is a nice ristorante/bar placed in the top part of the blue slope no. 5, high enough not to meet crowds, but becoming more and more popular, so be aware of the peak hours during the lunch time. La Chatelaine Pila looks modest, but usually such places have the best Italian food. 😊 This bar has even much more: unique atmosphere and the enormously friendly staff! Amazing people, you feel like most welcomed guest, like family member. Open to talking and meeting new people, culture, language. Cheers to Sabine and Catherine (Kasia) – sorry, if I spelled your names incorrectly! And to others, so nice and smiling! There are panoramic windows inside so you can watch the beauty of the Valle d’Aosta enjoying your food when it’s too cold outside. Fantastic smell of wood fired oven makes it so cozy… Delicious food, local cuisine, desserts and cakes (tiramisu included!) looking so tasty… but to be honest – I’ve used to order mostly bombardino, hot wine and beer, just not to become fat while skiing. 😊 You can find here a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, tap and bottled ones, hot and cold. There are lot of places available on the fresh air when it’s sunny weather with mountains view all around. There is also a bonus, ‘secret’ not meant for outsiders – the kind of top-terrace with sunchairs, where you can relax holding a beer in hand and enjoying the sunshine. Not everyone knows it. Just climb these few steep steps…the view is stunning! You must visit this place, La Chatelaine Pila, to enjoy your special moments and nice break when skiing. 27/07/2025: Ristorante dalla presenza sfarzosa in un hotel molto bello ma alla fine fra qualità e quantità non è stato soddisfacente.

20/07/2025: Décidément, depuis le départ de l'ancien maitre des lieux et cuisinier, Veillet, il y a de nombreuses années, l'auberge peine à trouver ses marques et un remplaçant à la hauteur !!! Après une succession plus que décevante (cuisine est service), MIKAËL (en cuisine) et CHRISTINE (à l'accueil) avaient "enfin" redorer le blason de cette auberge villageoise et avaient su enchantés nos papilles par la saveur et la finesse des plats et une cuisine bistronomique à prix tout doux. Aujourd'hui, nouveaux gérants et ... nouvelle déception. Dommage !

14/07/2025: Restaurant à fuir depuis le changement de patron, cuisine beaucoup trop grasse, frites maison ?? molles. Très déçus pour toute la table.

27/12/2024: L'unica sufficienza stirata,la posso dare al cibo, il resto dire orrendo è poco. 1) il menù è fisso,non era scritto da nessuna parte,cominciano a portare gli antipasti e chiedo il menù...niente...prezzo fisso e pietanze fisse,nessuna scelta!!! Vabbe accettiamo perché avendo una neonata,girare a cercare altro non era il meglio da fare. 2) proprietarie (penso) simpatiche e cordiali come ursula della sirenetta. Un cartello che indichi che è SOLO quei 4 piatti fissi,sarebbe preferibile. E indicare il prezzo...perché anche quello non era indicato da nessuna parte!!!

09/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati qui dopo la visita al castello di Fénis... abbiamo mangiato piatti della tradizione valdostana in un dehors esterno al ristorante...che dire cucina ottima e buon servizio! Prezzi onesti...locale consigliato 😌

24/09/2024: Il posto è bellissimo, rilassante e con una bellissima vista. Si mangia molto molto bene. Unica pecca di quel giorno il servizio, totalmente in confusione, con tempi di attesa e di ordinazione davvero biblici. Sicuramente ci torneremo perchè il posto è davvero un incanto, ma l'aspetto del servizio è da migliorare, piuttosto meglio togliere qualche tavolo e far sedere qualcuno di meno...

16/08/2024: Tanti anni che siamo qui, abbiamo voluto provarlo ma è stata una grande delusione. Carbonada appena sufficiente, polenta poco saporita, dolci accettabili e servizio inesistente. Peccato!

30/12/2024: Ottimo cibo, accoglienza meravigliosa. Giro in motoslitta compreso. In una giornata ci siamo stati sia a pranzo sia a cena!!!

26/10/2024: Provato per una colazione semplice e veloce di lavoro si è rilevato valido e meritevole per qualità dei prodotti e per l'orario di apertura, alle 7,30 del mattino era già aperto. Servizio discreto, puntuale e preciso. Comodo il park proprop davanti
