29/09/2025: I went to Taverna dei Duchi with my friends. We found the place by following our instincts, since we're not from Spoleto but were just passing through as guests, exploring this wonderful city. This place was also a surprise for us; Giorgio welcomed us with such sweetness and kindness, immediately accommodating all our requests. Our experience with him as our guide gave us the pleasure of savoring his professionalism and patience. We tried a typical local dish, Strangozzi al Rancetto, a delicious fresh pasta. We then continued with a slice of beef with Gorgonzola and walnuts, Umbrian lentils, and a selection of local cheeses. We finally concluded the meal with a typical dessert made of chocolate and amaretti biscuits with a very delicate cinnamon note: Crescionda. Everything was truly excellent and meticulously prepared. This place is recommended for those who truly want to savor flavor and tradition in a friendly atmosphere. We paired everything with a good house red wine.

28/09/2025: I really liked the hotel. The ground floor has large windows overlooking a park. The room was spacious, and the bed was king-size and very comfortable. There are two things that could be improved: the pillows and the breakfast. Otherwise, it's also in a very convenient location!

25/09/2025: The Hotel dei Duchi in Spoleto is an architectural structure by the rationalist architect Nicolosi, offering views and glass spaces overlooking the landscape, Roman ruins, and part of the Archaeological Museum. The rooms are renovated and equipped with basic but well-appointed amenities. Sleeping is very comfortable, with mattresses, toppers, and pillows of varying densities. The breakfast is very extensive, with pastries and the essentials for a savory breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff are available for car parking (reservation required).

12/09/2025: I can't describe the culinary experience I had at this retro gem, the undisputed kingdom of His Majesty the Umbrian truffle! The platter of traditional local cured meats and cheeses was a true triumph of the wisdom of Umbrian master charcuterie makers. The paccheri with eggplant sauce brought back memories of the simple flavors of my mother's cooking (she made them often, and it was always a treat for me to eat them). The guinea fowl breast stuffed with potatoes was warm and fragrant, while the millefeuille with Chantilly cream and berries concluded with a flourish, a blend reminiscent of autumn. And what can I say about the kindness, spontaneity, and warmth of Mrs. Rafaella and her husband? They simply make you feel at home. I will gladly return here as soon as I'm in the area again!

10/10/2025: A very unique place. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The menu is excellent, especially the peppered prosciutto. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the place.

09/10/2025: Wonderfull little Italian restaurant in the historic centre of Spoleto. The restaurant serves a fixed menu. Then you get around seven courses of the traditional Italian menu and a bottle of red or white wine. The dishes are served by the owner, who likes to talk a lot with the guests and he makes a lot of jokes. His mom is the cook. The food is delicious. The atmosphere in the little restaurant is great. It is wonderfull decorated and has only room dor about thirty guests. Real value for money.

25/10/2025: The hostel is well-equipped and well-organized, and the staff is friendly. I definitely recommend it.

24/10/2025: This is a great little home. I enjoy my stay at this hostel, I do recommend it, I will use it again. I stay in a mixed dorm, they are a lot of beds inside. The room is clean and has it's own toilet and shower. There is a restroom 🚻 outside as well. The serve of the stuff is excellent. I interact with two very kind young ladies and a gentile. They are all polite, very well mannered, friendly and welcoming. The environment is to mutual respect and care. The position is right in the middle of the old town Perugia. Walking distance from the main bus stops or metro. They also serve breakfast and coffee. The breakfast includes cereal, coffee, milk fruits and different type of pasty typical for Italy. I felt welcome and at home! Thank you little Italy! Ottimo servizio di acoglienza, aiuto al cliente, rispetto e cortesia. Ho dormito in dirmitorio misto, ed ho dormito. Bagno e stanza pulita. Ambiente pilito, posizione ottima. Si e' un posto sicuro e tranquillo per done viagiatrici! Orekrasnoe I desevoe hostello. Q baila v dormitory. Vsio chisto, akyratno I s yvazenie. 09/10/2025: A good breakfast bar with quality products. It's a shame about the parking lot, which is a bit chaotic and unsafe.

02/07/2025: The girls are impeccable. Too bad the owner sells the croissant with Nutella, but it's just a simple hazelnut cream.

16/10/2025: August 2025. We ordered the house menu several days in advance, so we had the flexibility to plan ahead. The quality of the dishes was acceptable, with good home-style cooking, although I would have appreciated more than four, not particularly large, ravioli on the plate. The problem was the incredibly long service; perhaps they overbooked, but arriving at 1:00 PM and leaving at 4:30 PM for two starters and a barbecue was unnerving. A Sunday afternoon ruined. Not a single apology, as if everything were normal.

28/10/2025: I recommend the pinza, good, cheap, and plentiful... The first courses, despite being very good, suffer from gourmet fever: small portions on large plates... Would I go back? Probably not, but the pinza...

28/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance while touring Spoleto. Unfortunately, despite the good reviews, the food was mediocre and tasteless. It had nothing to do with classic Umbrian cuisine. To top it all off, the zucchini flower in my appetizer was fried along with a hair. The desserts were decent. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

28/09/2025: Simple, both in its decor and menu. A few items, but of high quality. It might be a bit disconcerting to find yourself faced with a limited menu, but the result is worth the price. The restaurant focuses on tradition, which is more than respected, with more than affordable prices despite being located in the historic center, immersed in the city's tourist scene. The staff is always very professional and cheerful. Don't order an aperitivo first; the full lunch is worth it! Especially the Crescionda and the Amarognolo. 💪🏻💪🏻 Fantastic!
