02/12/2025: The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
01/12/2025: The location is excellent. The facilities are good, actually. Clean bathrooms. I did have a small problem and contacted Booking.com's chat support, the platform where I booked, but no one ever replied. After 7 pm, there's no one at reception. I felt that if something happened, there would be no one to turn to... that's the only negative. Everything else was fine. Like any hostel, it depends on the luck of having some friendly and polite roommates and others not so much. Anything can happen, but the fact that there's no reception after 7 pm... I was quite disappointed.

16/10/2025: August 2025. We ordered the house menu several days in advance, so we had the flexibility to plan ahead. The quality of the dishes was acceptable, with good home-style cooking, although I would have appreciated more than four, not particularly large, ravioli on the plate. The problem was the incredibly long service; perhaps they overbooked, but arriving at 1:00 PM and leaving at 4:30 PM for two starters and a barbecue was unnerving. A Sunday afternoon ruined. Not a single apology, as if everything were normal.
07/10/2025: Very nice hotel, friendly service, and delicious breakfasts. Very atmospheric and peaceful. I recommend it :)

05/08/2025: We ran into Orvieto at the end of the day, and with a bit of difficulty, but successfully, we managed to pay by POS! The sandwich was a bit firm, but the porchetta was delicious, and it kept us full all day!

01/11/2025: I'm sorry to write this review!!! I did a lot of research to find a good place to spend time with my family, where you can eat Umbrian food!!! I was really disappointed!!! We had a large appetizer to share and it was fine for the quantity, but the way it was presented was awful!!!! Crostini with liver etc. with sliced bread!!!!! Maybe I'm wrong but I've never seen it!!! Omelette and a savory pie with too much salt!!! The first courses had too much oil!! Super greasy!!!! The carbonara was not carbonara with a lot of super spicy pepper!!! The second course was left!!! I'm sorry, disappointed!!!!

17/08/2025: Authentic Neapolitan pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, and superb fried calzones. The only major issue is the rude and impolite staff, who often don't answer their phones even though the restaurant is open.
29/06/2025: Take-out pizza on Sunday evening, 29/06 - ordered 4 pizzas, one of which was "4 seasons". Since when is the 4 seasons pizza topped with a bit of mushrooms, a bit of cooked ham and salami (of indefinite gender)??? Not even a trace of olives and artichokes... Pizza not cooked well, almost white underneath, rubbery. A disappointment!!!

04/10/2025: We ordered a takeaway from here because my mother was unable to navigate the steeps steps and slopes of Spoleto, so we were very relieved to find a place that did both gluten free and deliveries! We enjoyed the GF tortelloni, the entrecote with chips, and GF pinsa (which to me was like a cross between a pizza and a foccacia - either way, it was delicious). Impressed with the delivery person having to bring the food to us on foot.

06/11/2025: I've been frequenting this refuge since I was a child, and under the old management, the experience was always excellent. I returned last Sunday, but unfortunately, I was disappointed.
I ordered the refuge's appetizer, a mixed platter: the quality of the cured meats left me dissatisfied, far from the Umbrian standards I was accustomed to. On the other hand, the bean soup that accompanied the dish was good and well-prepared.
After the appetizer, however, the wait for the main course—a mixed grill—was interminable: I sat down at 2:00 PM and left at 4:15 PM.
I'll leave you to judge the quality of the service.

24/11/2025: We visited this pizzeria on a Sunday evening with two couples of friends, and the experience was decidedly positive. We chose pizza and were thrilled: the dough was thin, light, and well-cooked. A simple but high-quality pizza.
The waiter immediately proved extremely friendly, attentive, and very, very nice, contributing to the pleasant atmosphere.

27/10/2025: A wonderful experience, everyone was so kind, no exceptions. We had dinner with a match on offer because they're all Roma fans; otherwise, we had torta al testo for lunch, sometimes aperitivo, and after dinner, amaro. Before returning to Rome, they offered us coffee and a bottle of water. It doesn't cost them anything, and we'd gladly return if the opportunity arises.
21/10/2025: We had a top-notch chickpea and potato soup! The owner was very kind in letting us eat at 3:30 PM, especially since the soup only needed to be reheated (he was very helpful), and we enjoyed some delicious desserts with excellent hot chocolate!

31/08/2025: It's not easy to find such a refined and authentic seafood restaurant in Umbria, but this place is a wonderful exception. Super-fresh dishes, prepared with care and flavor, generous portions, and a well-curated wine list.
From appetizer to dessert, every course was an experience. The raw fish was top-notch, and the seafood pasta... simply perfect!
But the real added value was the company of the owner: a delightful, passionate person, capable of making you feel immediately at home. His friendliness and hospitality made the evening even more enjoyable. In a world where service makes the difference, here you truly notice the passion for hospitality.
