01/11/2025: I'm sorry to write this review!!! I did a lot of research to find a good place to spend time with my family, where you can eat Umbrian food!!! I was really disappointed!!! We had a large appetizer to share and it was fine for the quantity, but the way it was presented was awful!!!! Crostini with liver etc. with sliced ​​bread!!!!! Maybe I'm wrong but I've never seen it!!! Omelette and a savory pie with too much salt!!! The first courses had too much oil!! Super greasy!!!! The carbonara was not carbonara with a lot of super spicy pepper!!! The second course was left!!! I'm sorry, disappointed!!!!

17/08/2025: Authentic Neapolitan pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, and superb fried calzones. The only major issue is the rude and impolite staff, who often don't answer their phones even though the restaurant is open.

29/06/2025: Take-out pizza on Sunday evening, 29/06 - ordered 4 pizzas, one of which was "4 seasons". Since when is the 4 seasons pizza topped with a bit of mushrooms, a bit of cooked ham and salami (of indefinite gender)??? Not even a trace of olives and artichokes... Pizza not cooked well, almost white underneath, rubbery. A disappointment!!!

04/10/2025: We ordered a takeaway from here because my mother was unable to navigate the steeps steps and slopes of Spoleto, so we were very relieved to find a place that did both gluten free and deliveries! We enjoyed the GF tortelloni, the entrecote with chips, and GF pinsa (which to me was like a cross between a pizza and a foccacia - either way, it was delicious). Impressed with the delivery person having to bring the food to us on foot.

10/10/2025: A charming, peaceful place. Meticulous attention to detail. Park with pool. The breakfast buffet is generous and excellent.

13/10/2025: Great experience, delicious pizza, light and crispy. The white pizza with walnuts, gorgonzola, and radicchio was delicious. We had a Nutella pizza at Comendolce. Delicious. Reasonable prices. It's worth trying.

07/09/2025: We came here because of the many good reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We should have read the latest reviews. Since the new owner changed hands in April 2025, nothing seems to be the same anymore. Whereas large portions used to be offered at a reasonable price, it's now the other way around. The value for money is completely out of place. The mixed grill or the truffle pasta used to cost €11 and now cost €16, a price increase of 45%. On my grill plate were a sausage, two slices of bacon, and two tiny chops. No small side dish, nothing extra, not even an onion ring or a slice of tomato. Even the once highly praised freshly toasted bread seems to have lost some of its quality; at least ours was hard and nothing special. The €12 coperto for four people rounds out the visit. All in all, in my opinion, the long journey is no longer worth it. We wouldn't come here again. If the value for money doesn't improve, I fear more and more visitors will stay away.

07/09/2025: We went without a reservation on a Sunday for lunch. They were busy, but they still found a way to accommodate us. Fast service, excellent food.

08/11/2025: Avoid. We ordered pasta with porcini mushrooms and received a dish topped with a mix of mushrooms preserved in oil from a jar, which tasted sour and unappealing. To our surprise, the owner confirmed that it's normal for them to use these mushrooms in both pasta dishes and on pizza. Honestly, from a restaurant in Spoleto, I expected fresh or at least frozen mushrooms, certainly not preserved in oil. A real shame, because in an area so rich in good products, one expects much more care and respect for the local cuisine. I don't recommend it and I won't return. One star because you can't get less.

Super-fresh dishes, prepared with care and flavor, generous portions, and a well-curated wine list. From appetizer to dessert, every course was an experience. The raw fish was top-notch, and the seafood pasta... simply perfect! But the real added value was the company of the owner: a delightful, passionate person, capable of making you feel immediately at home. His friendliness and hospitality made the evening even more enjoyable. In a world where service makes the difference, here you truly notice the passion for hospitality.
