The Gemel's Cafè

26/11/2025: The atmosphere was gloomy and the staff was cold. While I was waiting my turn, the girl at the counter was making a coffee with one hand because she had an e-cigarette in the other. When her back was turned, she even had the brilliant idea of smoking. I grabbed a packet of sweets and left...never again.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to make you feel at home.
The cocktails are unique, carefully crafted, and have a flavor I've never found anywhere else. The kitchen, the beating heart of the place, is always ready to pamper you with homemade dishes, prepared with passion and genuine love.
The dessert section is a feast for the eyes and a true temptation for the palate: cookies, tarts, and other delights, all authentic and irresistible.
Special praise goes to the team and owners, who put attention and dedication into every detail, making this place a little gem just outside Spoleto.

23/11/2025: The food is very good but for dessert I had a lemon sorbet and it wasn't very good.
31/08/2025: It's not easy to find such a refined and authentic seafood restaurant in Umbria, but this place is a wonderful exception. Super-fresh dishes, prepared with care and flavor, generous portions, and a well-curated wine list.
From appetizer to dessert, every course was an experience. The raw fish was top-notch, and the seafood pasta... simply perfect!
But the real added value was the company of the owner: a delightful, passionate person, capable of making you feel immediately at home. His friendliness and hospitality made the evening even more enjoyable. In a world where service makes the difference, here you truly notice the passion for hospitality.

I really compliment them: ... clean place, smiling staff, everything I tried was delicious and plentiful! The prices were also fair! I stumbled upon it by chance because I'm in the area for work... 06/01/2026: A day in Spoleto with the family. We booked at 12:00 PM for 1:30 PM. We arrived at the restaurant at 1:30 PM, and as soon as we entered, the lady was annoyed and irritated, rude to us, and told us they couldn't seat us because she was finished.
The restaurant had empty tables and chairs.
Speechless.
No more compliments, only compliments. Thank you.

19/08/2025: Yesterday I went with my family to this restaurant set on a mountain with a road that you could almost call dirt where there is not even a small house but all in all we ate well we had a tagliata with Colonnata lard paid 15 € each and some homemade chips. The tagliata was very good and also the chips but the chips were literally 10 and paid 5 € a rip-off. A very kind girl served us but the food arrived later than the other tables

31/12/2025: A family-friendly atmosphere in Spoleto's main square. The bar is always well-stocked, with a wide variety of excellent pastries, a well-kept exterior, and a comfortable, welcoming interior. The real added value, however, is the staff: always smiling, courteous, and professional, they're excellent.

06/09/2025: We arrived without a reservation, and they gave us a choice of two tables, despite being booked on most of the others.
Menu choice was small but varied to accommodate different tastes. All authentic to the region and locally produced.
The food was exceptional. No other words for it. The taste exquisite, presentation superb and sizing just right (not too small to leave you hungry, not to large to feel uncomfortable stuffed).
I wish I'd taken photos, but I tucked in and couldn't stop till we'd finished. I had sliced steak with salad, my husband had a wild boar pasta dish and lamb chops. Delicious 😋
09/08/2025: I'm not judging the food since we weren't even served it. We booked on July 18th for August 2nd. We arrived and were met by a rather grumpy waitress who asked us if we wanted to eat inside or outside. Shortly afterward, she came out again to ask when we'd called to reserve the table. Finally, the owner came back to us, handing us his phone and saying he'd had plumbing problems that day. It was a shame there were other cars outside... We were so disappointed that we were forced to get a takeout pizza.

Ristorante Cinese Hong Kong - Sushi Giapponese

02/01/2026: Terrible experience. (Let's start by assuming I love raw sushi.) The sashimi is ridiculous: tiny, unappealing pieces. The fried food is inedible, with a strong smell of old oil that completely ruins the dish. The only redeeming feature is the noodles, which are quite well made, but they don't justify the rest.
The worst part is that the last two times I've been very ill, with severe stomach pain after eating here. It can't be a coincidence.
Considering the quality of the food and the problems I've had, I strongly advise against it. I won't be returning; for €14 for lunch, it's highly advisable to spend more and eat at other all-you-can-eat restaurants (even in the city).

Imagine the complete opposite, with the addition of a relatively exorbitant price tag, including fake barbecue!
01/01/2026: Unfortunately, feeling hungry, we stopped at this roadside trattoria. If we'd read the reviews, we'd definitely have gone straight there... the prices were completely out of line with the quality of the food and quite unjustified. For example, the €12 slice of bread was clearly served with discount truffle sauce. Personally, I felt cheated. In those parts, opt for a decent, honest sandwich elsewhere.

02/06/2025: Tempi infiniti per l' ordinazione e comunque servizio disorganizzato al massimo. Primo arrivato con un capello poi comunque rimandato indietro. Nel complesso cibo discreto. Non lo consiglio in maniera decisa.
05/05/2025: Horrible servicio. No nos sentaron porque no teníamos reservas. Así que salí, hice una reserva en línea y volví y les dije que tenía reservas. Nos sentaron, pero estaban claramente molestos. Esto es a pesar de que el restaurante nunca estuvo más de 2 / 3 lleno.
El servicio era extremadamente lento, sacaban las cosas a diferentes horas, etc. Además, la comida era promedio, en el mejor de los casos. No muy sabroso. Gran decepción.
