04/08/2024: We returned to eat at the Margherita restaurant a few months after the new opening and it proved to be a real guarantee, excellent and genuine food, staff attentive to the various requests and needs. Definitely worth trying! We will definitely be back!

25/08/2024: The Piazza dell'Anfiteatro in Lucca is a truly impressive place that combines history and Italian joie de vivre. The oval square, built on the ruins of an ancient Roman amphitheater, exudes a special atmosphere. Surrounded by picturesque, colorful buildings, cozy cafés and restaurants invite you to linger. The unique architecture and lively hustle and bustle make this place a must for every visitor to the city. A walk through the piazza is like a little journey through time, where you can feel the flair of bygone eras.

14/08/2024: During our stay in Spoleto we received the tip to eat here. We have eaten here seven times. It is a small menu with all local specialties. All, one by one, really delicious dishes. Service is super attentive and the chef is phenomenal. The chef always comes by for a chat or to see if you are enjoying yourself. If we are ever in Umbria again, we will definitely go back to Chateau de Pep!

24/08/2024: All really very good, truffle ragu something spectacular, super good sliced ​​beef, and excellent craft beer from Umbrian master brewers recommended by the waiter. It was a truly exceptional dinner, if I'm in the area I will definitely stop by.

01/09/2024: Locale centralissimo a Spoleto, molti dei suoi tavoli sono all'esterno sulla via principale della città. L'interno è molto curato nello stile tipico delle prosciutterie di una volta oltre ad essere molto pulito, anche nel bagno. Il personale è gentile e competente sopratutto per quanto riguarda le tantissime birre artigianali che vendono, fatevi assolutamente consigliare e non rimarrete delusi. Cibo squisito con ingredienti di assoluta prima scelta. Ci siamo trovati tutti benissimo, sicuramente ritorneremo. Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo, non c'è nulla di simile nei dintorni

01/09/2024: ero in vacanza a Spoleto con la mia famiglia di cinque persone con tre bimbi piccoli ed i nonni. Ci trovavamo al Duomo ed abbiamo chiesto di consigliarci un locale per pranzare che non fosse troppo impegnativo. Direi che abbiamo chiesto alla persona giusta poichè ci ha indicato questo piccolo locale al corso, a 10m dal Duomo, che si è specializzato in focacce e salumi di qualità assoluta! Parlando con il proprietario ci ha spiegato che sono loro a fare le focacce e si sente: leggerissime! ingredienti veramente goderecci ed ottime birre artigianali molto ricercate. Non ho mai visto i miei bimbi mangiare così di gusto! Proprietari gentilissimi! C'è un pò da aspettare perchè non ha tantissimi posti ma ne vale la pena altrimenti non avrebbero vinto il premio Gambero Rosso! Tappa obbligata

They have done such a tasteful job at creating what felt to me like a 5-star hotel –but so much more tasteful – the receptionist, young fellow, was just awesome at welcoming me, showing me around – His English was impeccable and he organised anything I needed -- from taking me to dinner and booking the best massage ever from the hotel’s masseuse. She was awesome. Please pass on my big gratitude to both the receptionist and the masseuse -- they were so kind and professional (refer 27 May staying there) The Agriturismo nature of these Italian working farm-hotels is FANTASTIC -- and yet within the hundreds of years old villa lies a beautifully appointed and comfy hotel -- the rooms, the living room, the breakfast -- superb!

03/09/2024: Pizzeria located in the market square in the heart of Spoleto. A suitable place for an economical break but which at the same time satisfies everyone's palates. Internal room of limited size, outside in front of the fountain with the clock numerous tables allow you to eat. Staff helpful and very courteous. Highly recommended

02/09/2024: We ate at this pizza place a few weeks ago, we had the super good focaccia and other slices of pizza of various flavors including the very good radicchio one. Good value for money. Advise.

20/03/2024: A fantastic fish shop. Fresh fish every day and gastronomic specialties ready to eat. The fried fish (strictly customer's choice) is simply divine. Single portions to take away ready in a few minutes. If you like fish and you are in Spoleto I recommend a stop!

11/08/2024: Visiting Spoleto, I stopped with my wife at this restaurant for dinner. I found a welcoming environment and above all in a street not crowded with tourists. You can therefore eat outside in complete tranquility and above all with a fast and polite service from the restaurateur. We really enjoyed the truffle omelette, the mixed grilled dog with baked potatoes and to finish the CRESConda (a Spoleto dessert). Excellent value for money. Absolutely worth trying for anyone coming to Spoleto.

23/08/2024: We arrived on 8/21/24 at approximately 4.30pm, the manager welcomed us with little enthusiasm and apologized several times to a young couple who were waiting after us??!! He quickly gave us the room without much explanation! Double room with 1 single bed, 1 beautiful bathroom; everything very clean! There is no minibar in the room!!! I asked if I could put 1 bag in the fridge and the staff kindly agreed, even without asking for approval from the director, who was also absent!!! Large and beautiful swimming pool but the kids do diving??!! Without education!!! 1st breakfast served at 8.30 (a little late for me, because I was passing through and wanted to visit Spoleto in the early hours) excellent with 5 different types of cake 🍰 and 2 croissants 🥐 jams yoghurt fruit juice and savory on request, perfect American coffee !!! I suggest putting a minibar and a kettle for coffee in the rooms in case you don't want to have breakfast so late!!!

21/08/2024: Io e i miei amici abbiamo soggiornato in questo agriturismo qualche giorno nella settimana di ferragosto. Location incantevole con giardini molto curati ed esterni con posti dove chiacchierare tranquilli. Le camere sono molto pulite ed accoglienti, il menù del ristorante prevede piatti gustosi e carne morbidissima. La piscina è un fiore all'occhiello. I proprietari e tutto lo staff davvero cordiali e disponibili.
