12/10/2025: At the top of the "Porta Orvietana" elevator, this osteria invites you to a moment of refreshment... even for the soul. The carefully selected dishes reflect the authentic flavors of Umbrian tradition. The porchetta pork, the tagliolini with truffles, and the tiramisu with a crunchy surprise are excellent. The welcoming atmosphere, typical of an osteria, is further enhanced by a selection of background music that surprised and moved us. Thanks to the guys who carry on this business with such care and passion...which is much more than just a "job."

03/10/2025: Beautifully located restaurant on the way between the Upper Town cable car station and Piazza del Popolo. Interestingly, the restaurant has three areas: outside, then the attached winter garden; and finally, the lovely interior. The restroom was clean, nothing to complain about. We got a table right away (we came spontaneously and didn't make a reservation!). The service was friendly, and the food arrived within a reasonable time (we definitely didn't wait too long). I had the pasta with truffles: it was very tasty, although I prefer it when the truffles are mixed directly into the olive oil and completely mixed with the pasta, as is the case at the "Sagra della Ciriola" in Coppe (a district of the municipality of Stroncone). Nevertheless, the pasta was very creamy...and the truffles were mainly grated "on top" of the pasta. The "Saltimbocca umbra" was simply a dream: the meat was very tender. You could especially taste the sage (I think it was sage) in the meat, as well as the wine. And the sauce was mainly a mixture of olive oil and white wine, which is inevitable. Fried potatoes were served with it. I think the photo speaks volumes: super crispy and very tasty. I quite like the typical unsalted bread. The espresso was good, of course. There were three of us there...hence the photos of their appetizers and main courses. Among other things, the cannelloni were delicious: a good "bite" with a slightly burnt outer layer and a soft interior. The red sauce and the cheese tasted wonderful. Todi itself is a little gem. Very convenient: a cogwheel train goes directly from the parking lot up to the panoramic square, from where you can get a great view of Todi...as well as down into the valley. The cable car is free, by the way. It essentially works like an elevator: you can press the button at any time...and the train takes off. Parking does cost a bit, but the prices are quite reasonable. In any case, I can highly recommend the restaurant for its food and service, especially since the price-performance ratio is definitely reasonable. I hope this restaurant will stay with us for a long time.

02/12/2025: The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

01/12/2025: The location is excellent. The facilities are good, actually. Clean bathrooms. I did have a small problem and contacted Booking.com's chat support, the platform where I booked, but no one ever replied. After 7 pm, there's no one at reception. I felt that if something happened, there would be no one to turn to... that's the only negative. Everything else was fine. Like any hostel, it depends on the luck of having some friendly and polite roommates and others not so much. Anything can happen, but the fact that there's no reception after 7 pm... I was quite disappointed.

02/12/2025: Exceptional pinsa. I also tried the mixed platter and the trio of mini burgers. Really good. Highly recommended.

17/11/2025: Excellent dinner at this restaurant nestled in the historic center of Spoleto. The food is good and plentiful. The price is also excellent. The pinsa dough is exceptional, crispy and light. I was informed that the mozzarella fiordilatte is made with vegetable rennet, which is great news for vegetarians. The waiter was very helpful.

15/11/2025: Overall, the pizza was good, the thin-crust one that many people like, but it's a matter of taste. I recommend checking the tables every now and then; I had to call the waiter from afar several times because some items were missing. It took 20 minutes for a coffee. Children were running around the room, screaming and making a nuisance, but no one intervened. The owner should have told their parents. We couldn't wait to leave.

12/10/2025: The manager of this establishment was very well done for making their restrooms, located in the hotel rooms, available to participants on the day of the Perugia-Assisi Peace March. They didn't "require" any drinks. Congratulations, ❤️

25/07/2025: La Sosta is a cozy restaurant offering traditional Italian cuisine. The menu includes classics such as pizza, pasta, antipasti, and desserts. The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are well-seasoned and beautifully presented. The interior is simply yet tastefully decorated. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for a longer meal. The service is polite and helpful. The prices are moderate, reflecting the quality of the dishes served. The place feels family-friendly and is frequently visited by both locals and tourists.

24/11/2025: I went to dinner with a group of friends and we had an appetizer and pizzas. I have to say the pizzas weren't anything special... Anyway, I had a terrible experience... After dinner, we paid the total, divided by the number of people we were. The manager charged us the fees, but through his own oversight, he forgot to write down three fees in his notepad, even though we had actually paid them. Out of doubt, he told one of us, who was also the last one left in our group, that he was missing three fees. Our friend, trusting that one of us had forgotten, paid the fees himself and then contacted us to find out who had forgotten to pay. But in reality, we had all paid, complete with screenshots of the payment. At that point, we returned to the restaurant and reported that the manager had made the mistake of forgetting to tick the three amounts on his sheet, and that when we showed him the receipts, it showed that we had paid all the amounts. But he wouldn't admit his mistake and wouldn't refund the three extra amounts he had charged us. He even started insulting me and saying that he wouldn't have given us 70 euros, but 700 euros. I felt embarrassed for him. You shouldn't treat customers like that, especially when you, the owner, made the mistake... We'll definitely never go back to that place again.

22/11/2025: Unfortunately, the experience wasn't a positive one. We waited a really long time for the food to arrive, and my pasta was undercooked. At first, I thought it was just a few pieces, or that the pasta was that consistency (umbricelli), but I had to leave half of it on my plate. When I pointed out that it was undercooked, they simply apologized. Furthermore, before the food arrived, they even took away our bread for no reason. I understand that it was a Saturday night and that the place was crowded, especially considering the takeout, but I hope they can improve both the wait time and the care taken in preparing the dishes. It's a shame because we had high expectations based on the other reviews.

27/10/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend. We had a wonderful time. The staff was super kind and attentive, attentive to every course we were served. The food was truly delicious and the value was excellent. The setting was also truly unique and very charming. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: Here at Pallotta's, you'll feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Superlative cuisine, a Slow Food Presidium. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: Five stars because I can't give more! I went to this restaurant for five days straight during my vacation and had a great time! Very fair prices, generous portions, and everything was delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful, always smiling. The place is very cute and welcoming, with the option of eating outside. Highly recommended, I'd go back in a heartbeat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

06/09/2025: Hospitality, friendliness, and quality. Found it somewhat by chance, we stopped for pizza. Everything was excellent. The pan pizza was superb! Not to mention, dogs are welcome.

24/08/2025: The absolute best: come here to enjoy delicious, expertly crafted traditional Sicilian sweets. The almond biscuits are exquisite. The arancini are delicious. Thank God for this little corner of Sicily in Foligno and for the talented people who prepare these delicacies. They use the highest quality ingredients and techniques that demonstrate their mastery. We'll keep coming back for more :)

28/08/2025: My goodness, I enjoyed this place. I'm from the south, it reminds me a lot of my grandmother, who unfortunately is no longer with us. I moved to Tervenano 4 months ago and once a week I eat hamburgers here, they are top-notch, they seem to be in LA (in America).

24/11/2025: I came for lunch today with a friend for the second time, and we had a great time once again! The food was excellent, both in presentation and flavor. We really appreciated the helpfulness of the staff and their attention to customers. They were super kind, attentive, and very friendly.

23/11/2025: We were here on a day before a holiday. The wait for a table was practically nonexistent, despite the large crowd for the event (Eurochocolate). They seated us in the corridor leading from the lobby to the dining room, so everyone walked right past us on their way out, but it wasn't too bothersome. We ordered a plate of medallions with wild boar, porcini mushroom, and truffle ragù for €18, including three medallions, a plate of gnocchi with goose ragù (note to the manager: if the dish is served with cheese, it must be specified on the menu), a charcuterie board, a quarter of house wine, and water for €52. I'd say it's a fair price. The wait for the dishes was minimal. Unfortunately, once we got home, we had to throw all our clothes, including our jackets, in the washing machine because we looked like we were done for too. There are definitely better options.
