Also, they were missing caciotta/fontina cheese, and they put mozzarella in there, which isn't the same thing.

07/01/2026: I've only been there once during a visit to Perugia, but the experience was truly positive. The restaurant is small and rustic, simple but welcoming, and that doesn't matter because what matters is how you feel while eating.
The dishes are authentic, simple, and very good, respecting Italian tradition and leaving you with that feeling of home cooking, with local, fresh ingredients. The wood-fired pizzas are fragrant and well-seasoned, and even the Italian dishes are tasty without being overly elaborate.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, ready to put you at ease and offer helpful advice. The restaurant's atmosphere is informal yet pleasant, perfect for a break while exploring the city or a quiet dinner.
In short, Il Bacio is a place I recommend for those looking for simple, authentic dishes and a welcoming atmosphere in the center of Perugia. Even though I've only been there once, it left a good impression on me, and I would gladly return. 🍕🍝✨

Overall, however, I have to say that the culinary experience didn't entirely satisfy us.
08/09/2025: We booked for two for a special occasion, and arrived around nine o'clock and were greeted warmly. A very friendly and knowledgeable waiter served us at our table. The bread was very good, and the wait for our food wasn't particularly long. We both ordered an appetizer and a first course; I opted for the vegetarian options, which were plentiful. At the end of the meal, we ordered dessert; I had a mini portion of sorbet and another of gelato (I was a bit full); the vanilla gelato was fantastic, and the sorbet had a strong berry flavor. My companion, on the other hand, had brownies accompanied by the aforementioned sorbet, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We left satisfied.

05/01/2026: Informal tavern, good quality food, good service, well-kept atmosphere. The only flaw was the slightly cool dining room, even though the place had just opened when we arrived. The Gubbio distillate recommended by the host after coffee was excellent. Recommended for a good lunch at a good price.

They lie about the pilgrim stamp.
Before you order the drink, they say they have it,
but after you pay, they don't give the stamp.

I've often passed the entrance to this restaurant, but I have to be honest... from the outside, it's never really inspired me. Today, however, after reading the restaurant's reviews, we decided to stop for dinner... and what a discovery!
A restaurant that's not too big, absolutely DELICIOUS in every way... from the decor, to the unique plates on which the dishes are served, to the extremely kind and knowledgeable staff.
They brought us a welcome entree, which is always very welcome. Afterwards, I had the octopus Luciana-style, the pasta with lake fish and summer truffle, and a dessert in a glass with ricotta and biscuits. Everything was adapted to be gluten-free for me; they're also very knowledgeable about this.
The menu is written on a blackboard, with each course priced accordingly, and is displayed by the owner, who is always ready to offer advice.
Average prices and generous portions.
We will definitely return to this wonderful place ♥️

11/01/2026: A must-try spot in Città di Castello and truly one of the city’s hidden gems. I first visited two years ago and returned again today — nothing has changed. The hospitality is just as warm, the food remains high quality, and the flavours are exactly as I remembered. I loved it and will definitely return whenever I’m back in the city.
The owner is very knowledgeable about wine, so be sure to ask for a recommendation — you can also buy bottles to take away or as a gift.
