09/06/2024: Giriamo tanto sia a Terni che nei paesi intorno ma… pur mangiando anche molto bene… manca sempre qualcosa.. per noi il 🔝 e’ Il Convivio.. ottima location..centro ma Comunque nn in mezzo alla strada e al passeggio.. cibi di altossima qualita’ trovi sia il casareccio che il piatto gourmet piu’ raffinato… poi ieri.. ciliegina sulla torta…la torta piu buona che abbia mai mangiato.. ricotta e fichi! Ormai e’ il “nostri ristorante”… imbattuto! 😎

01/06/2024: An evening in this place is always welcome. We sat at an outdoor table, adequately set up, even though the temperature was quite biting, given the season. We assume that the temperature could have been around 16.76° at the beginning of the meal, with a humidity between 47 and 52%. Because in any case the weather can influence the evaluation of the food. Upon arrival we are positively struck by the presence of customers, characterized by a sober elegance, high-ranking but never snobbish, nor even haughty. Even from a hygienic-sanitary point of view, the place appears well frequented but not exclusive. It should be underlined that some customers, even if from humble social background, were willing to make some sacrifices in order to dine in this place. But it was worth it, at least according to their statements. The managers offer a complete, original and never banal list of aperitifs. The neg*roni stands out, which some insist on defining as the best in the city, without taking anything away from the other places. We found a fine selection of foods. Varied menu, balanced but not dispersive. It satisfies the palate of the novice and that of the culinary expert, who finds full satisfaction here. It is not uncommon, in this place, to meet jokers at the check-out who cheer up the moment of farewell with fun jokes. But not always. Sometimes. The owner, sometimes distracted - not by her will - by the many burdens of management, always appears professional and attentive to the needs of the various clientele. Also towards those who make sacrifices, mentioned above. What else to add? There would be many things to say, but we will stop here so as not to bore the reader. We leave further evaluations to future guests. But we had a very good time.

20/08/2024: This place is a must have on your list of fine dining in Umbria. When you walk in you are greeted in the atmosphere of the country kitchen. They have an outstanding collection of wine etc…The big night starts with a selection of cheeses and meats. The pasta features tartufo/truffles in a masterful presentation. The steak was perfectly cooked to order, tender and delicious!

19/08/2024: The place is nice but the rest was unfortunately a big disappointment. High prices, bad food taste. The order was taken by a very cold and rude woman. They don't have anything suitable for children on the menu. Small portions. The tomato soup was dry, the baked potatoes consisted of 4 counted pieces but really 1,2,3,4 pieces, very large and not very tasty. Sagrantino gnocchi are too strong and therefore acidic. The pizza al testo is hard and tasteless. The wild boar stew is full of rosemary leaves and juniper berries which are terrible if chewed by mistake: the rosemary must be put in reeds to be able to avoid it and the berries must be removed before serving the dish as Cannavacciuolo also teaches. What they call cheesecake is a dessert in a glass and not a slice of cake, but it is not specified: what is expected does not arrive at the table. It doesn't look like food cooked by people who know local recipes. The pluma was the only dish appreciated. The soap in the bathroom for washing hands was diluted with water. We paid for the bitters, we didn't offer them as they say in the reply! We only took one course because we didn't have the others ordered since the first ones weren't good.

08/08/2024: after the experience of the Garden Experience, local friends recommended this restaurant to us where meat reigns supreme, I recommend a fillet with black pepper and porcini mushrooms, definitely delicious!!!

28/06/2024: A beautiful, family-run restaurant with a small holiday accommodation attached (which we will probably try out). There was an extremely delicious 4-course menu as well as outstanding service! Despite language differences, you felt “like you were at home with friends.” We recommend!

31/08/2024: The problem of Borgo La Chiaracia is leaving. Leaving is always a sort of trauma. Services of the highest level, customer care that manages to mix 5-star service with human warmth and close proximity. A magical place, marked by absolute calm. Calm in the sounds, calm in the rhythms, calm in the scenarios it presents to your sight. Last but not least, an absolutely competitive quality/price ratio. Unforgettable.

31/07/2024: Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto in una bella piazzetta, con noi avevamo il cane a cui è stata offerta subito una ciotola di acqua fresca. Personale gentile e premuroso, menù variegato ed interessante e ottimi ingredienti. Il prezzo? Una positiva sorpresa! Da rifare assolutamente ( ce ne fossero così. ..)

19/08/2024: We only ate pizza and desserts, both good, nice large place both inside and out.

18/08/2024: We stopped for dinner, convinced by the good reviews which unfortunately we cannot share. The food was actually so-so, passable; but the prices are not as cheap as indicated. A €10 hamburger served like this, on a plate with nothing else. And therefore necessarily a side dish in addition for €5 (baked potatoes flavored with some condiments which turned out to be rather unusual). The pizza is quite tasty but also heavy, and quite expensive, especially the margherita which is generally the most requested. The service leaves something to be desired: apart from the rather annoyed waitress, we also found, as read in other comments, a gross error in the bill, which was then readjusted and passed off as a discount... In conclusion, a recommended place perhaps for first but very attentive to the final bill.

24/08/2024: Individually delicious bread, cold cuts and cheeses…. Made into a sandwich they don't work because there's too much bread and too little filling

22/08/2024: Nice place where you can taste typical products and drink a glass of good wine. It's not elegant, you eat on tables in the street. I was there with my family on a warm evening but the square is well ventilated. We ordered a typical starter for 4 and 5 first courses; everything was good but I make a note on my dish because on the menu it was written with walnuts and instead my pasta was seasoned with hazelnuts which I didn't like very much which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5. The sparkling wine they recommended to us was very good, the lady who served us, very kind. We paid the right price for quality/price.

21/08/2024: Spartan place but really very nice: you set the table yourself and order, then you gradually collect what you ordered. The dishes are simple but tasty, the portions are generous and the prices are fair. I recommend arriving early (we were there for dinner and arrived at 7.10pm), to avoid waiting too long. €54 to eat a mixed starter, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 dessert, 1 water and 1 quarter of red wine.

20/08/2024: Excellent food to say the least! Don't be put off by the organization of the service because once you understand it it's very convenient... you arrive and take your "number" to order and pay at the cash register, while waiting for your turn you can choose a table and prepare it... and above all wait comfortably seated without having to queue standing as the number is called through screens... once this is done the orders are forwarded to the kitchens and in a short time the meals are ready! It's all really delicious and plentiful! We really had a great time! Thank you

28/07/2024: A local establishment with enormous quality. We were attended to by two very friendly and gentle gentlemen in the way they served us. Foccacia and al taglio pizzas constantly coming out of the oven. We love it!
