12/08/2025: We were very well received, the staff was very friendly and accommodating given our difficulty speaking Italian and our misunderstandings about the meal offered! The meal was substantial and I loved the pasta with artichoke cream! It cost €25 per person without dessert or drinks other than water.

25/08/2025: We're visiting Gubbio, but in the evening all the places are full (or have only outdoor seating, but it's raining) or have unreasonable prices. So we find this place online and drive there. The parking lot is large but full. Luckily, there are other parking lots nearby. The place is very large and almost sold out. The menu is extensive, the prices are affordable, and the quality is acceptable. The service, however, leaves something to be desired: diners should be served at the same time, not 15-20 minutes apart. A special mention goes to the restrooms: beautiful, spacious, and very clean.

27/08/2025: I have been all over Europe and to Italy 5 times. Never have I had such a sublime meal as at Osteria Pozzo Della Mensa. The ravioli was amazing and the rolled pork wrapped in guanciale, lightly dusted with rock salt before plating, was bursting with flavor. You don’t want to miss out on this restaurant. VERY highly recommend!,

26/08/2025: I'll recount my less than happy experience. The super-kind and helpful staff were welcoming and prompt, and the restaurant is located on a small, secluded street, thus ensuring a certain degree of privacy at the outdoor tables. However, the food, unfortunately, is a real letdown: the quality/price ratio is embarrassing, to say the least. I found myself paying €18 for three lamb chops (which didn't even have much meat) on a bed of citrus fruit that was completely insubstantial and didn't match the meat at all. The desserts made up for it a bit, but again, they were mediocre and certainly not worthy of the price. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a pleasant evening in Assisi. 21/08/2025: This wine shop offers a great deal of regional wines and beers. You can find a wide selection of the best Umbria can offer and in a charming and relaxing athmosphere. Food is delicious with great 'taglieri' platters! Highly recommended: there, you will probably have the best aperitivos of your life! Ideal when looking for quality souvenirs/gifts and other local artisanal produce.

01/09/2025: Coming to this pizzeria is always a pleasure. The quality of the products is excellent, and the staff is friendly and very polite. I recommend it to everyone. We'll be back very soon. From the appetizer to the pizza to the dessert, everything is delicious.

03/09/2025: A very nice place with a lovely outdoor terrace. It's a shame everything isn't very well-maintained. The food is very homely, with some dishes being good, like the homemade stringozzi, others less so, like the meats; despite being medium-rare, they were overcooked and a bit tough. The local ingredients are decent, but they don't justify the somewhat high prices for what you get. The owners are friendly and the service is good.

20/08/2025: I've stayed and eaten at Osteria del Mandorlo many times, and it's always a guaranteed success. Carlotta uses quality ingredients, making every dish incredibly tasty. I recommend everyone try her cuisine.

14/09/2025: My review is neutral/negative, not so much for the room, because I have to say I had a good time and it was very clean, with a comfortable bed. The negative review concerns the restaurant, because I think the à la carte price/quality ratio is unfavorable. The appetizer was three slices of warmed bread with a little lard and cherry tomatoes, the main course was a tagliata with arugula and parmesan that tasted a bit stale, a caponata on the side, dessert was a small cup with white chocolate topping and a small scoop of ice cream with a little amaretto crumbled on top—€7!!! (For €7, I expected a larger portion), 1/4 bottle of red wine (€5!), 1 liter of water (€40!)! I find this a lot of money, both for the disorganized service (the owner was running back and forth to serve the tables, which honestly made me anxious) and for the slowness of the service.

09/09/2025: We had the daily menu for dinner, with generous portions, perfect attention to gluten and dairy products (without any extra charge!), and truly excellent value. Cleanliness, friendliness, and courtesy were top notch. We'll be back again this evening 😍

06/06/2025: ...I have to say that if they hadn't told me I wouldn't have believed it! On Sunday 1st June, after visiting the Marmore Falls, the Landlady of the Guest House Runcini suggested that we come to lunch here in Ara Marina (obviously booking in advance). They welcomed us like never before and the kindness came first of all! I had asked to pay homage to my Partner (for her birthday) with some Roses at the table... and so it was. We had lunch with a fish first course and then we had a light and very fresh Fried Food accompanied with excellent French fries. The place is magnificent and silent... All of Nature surrounds and envelops you! After lunch we stopped on the lawn next to have coffee and dessert and the day continued in serenity. If this is what you are looking for... here you will find it! Thanks to all the Staff Tony and Edy
