Not too big place where booking is very useful if you have to wait a long time.
The staff is very friendly, courteous and efficient.
The products are really excellent and of great quality.
If you are in Gubbio, come and try the Crescia and Bustrengo, they are really excellent!

Excellent tavern in the historic center of Gubbio in a historic building. Rustic furnishings typical of a tavern. The menu is centered on local specialities, Umbrian crescia and bustrengo, a sort of fried bread. Both accompanied by excellent cold cuts and cheeses, sausage etc. Friendly personal express service

Crescia is delicious, always freshly made), but not only that: an excellent Umbrian house red (Cantina Chiorri) and many other delicious typical dishes on the menu.
Among the Eugubine specialties, the brustengo and imbrecciata are absolutely worth trying, both exquisite, and the second courses were also a surprise: the tripe was excellent while the roe deer stew is the absolute best I have ever eaten.
Fast service, honest prices, simple place without unnecessary pretense, beautiful cellar with wrapped items.
Tried, tried and tried again… It's always a pleasure! 😋

Very nice place with very friendly staff. It grows and grows really super!! excellent quality/price ratio. If you go to Gubbio, go there. You will not regret it. Just remember to book at least that morning!

Il posto è abbastanza spartano e in particolare noi siamo finiti in un tavolo scomodo alto con sgabelli privi di appoggio schiena e non stabili. Il cibo però è stato buono e il conto economico. Un tagliere di carne alla griglia, una porzione di patate al forno, acqua e coperto 17 euro a testa.

Buonissima la crescia, proposta in enne versioni. Caratteristico l'ambiente, molto cortese il personale a cui va l'applauso per la professionalità con cui gestisce la mole dei clienti. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono
