19/08/2025: Everything was great! 😊 We felt like family!

08/07/2025: We stayed here for one night during our mountain bike alpine crossing. Modern rooms, very friendly staff/owner. We booked half board and would recommend it: 4 courses with a salad buffet, soup, half board (schnitzel and omelet were delicious!), and dessert. We paid €50 for two people, including water and a half liter of house wine. Great value for money, and it tasted good, and we were satisfied. Truly top-notch – thanks to the team and the Sonne family!!! Centrally located in St. Lorenzen, bikes can be safely stored in the ski room. We would stay here again 👍👍👍

19/07/2025: The setting is beautiful, despite being surrounded by the farm and stables, with a lovely view of the horses that some might appreciate. I enjoyed an excellent goulash with dumplings.

02/07/2025: A nice restaurant right next to a riding arena with an outdoor terrace. Friendly service. We had spaghetti Bolognese, aglio e olio, dumpling trio, and a burger. Everything was delicious and good value for money.

11/08/2025: I've been to this place many times and it's always been a beautiful place but with this new management it has lost a lot, last night I went for dinner and I saw nothing but the owner yelling at the waiters like a madman, because in his opinion he wasn't providing good service, all the customers did nothing but watch this scene, the service wasn't up to par with the place, I didn't like anything and then this owner who treats his employees like slaves didn't like it at all... terrible owner and I definitely won't come here again.

19/07/2025: Even though we arrived around 3:30 PM, they made us some very good sandwiches. We were welcomed warmly, even with our dogs. Very beautiful location.

02/04/2025: Like every year, for over 30 years now, I always have visited my friend Thomas owner of the biata forcelles. After a day of skiing, a nice rest inside or outside the hut, where you can enjoy the classic menus of all the huts in the area, but in my opinion at slightly reduced prices. It is now a fixed stop and I recommend it to everyone. Nice locations and nice view.

05/09/2025: A restaurant and pizzeria with a very extensive menu! I had a wonderful meal, the staff were friendly and helpful, the service was quick, and the prices were reasonable! The outdoor terrace was also lovely! I don't know of any other places in Canazei, but if I were to return, I'd definitely know where to eat!

02/09/2025: We hadn't been back for years, and the host welcomed us so warmly. He recognized us despite the years that had passed and made us feel right at home. Every detail was meticulously thought out, even the dog menu, which was excellent. As soon as we sat down, they immediately asked if we wanted water and a Dental Stix for our dog, a treat we greatly appreciated. We had the pleasure of speaking with the host, who was very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Thanks to the restaurant and the attentive staff, we enjoyed a delicious lunch that has become a wonderful memory. Thank you so much.

16/08/2025: From the shelter at the last bus stop in Santa Magdalena, we set off along trail no. 49. Along the way, we see a stable with a hayloft upstairs. On several sides, an old wooden balcony hangs, where rakes, sickles, ox yokes, and wooden wheels hang; all things from another era. The road is paved for a stretch, but turns gravel as it begins to climb. At a crossroads, a wooden kiosk displays a pair of posters. One is for the Kradorfer Alm (1,704 meters) on trail no. 49a to the Forcella di Casies. The other is a giant poster of the Messner Hütte Alm, with a large, convenient access road suitable for strollers and prams. Below, a sign says "We're open." We arrive at an alpine pasture with barns and old, abandoned houses. At the base of one of the walls, two old wooden sled runners, stored there for an unlikely future use. The structures are made of larch wood, now grayed by time. On the ridge, many clouds are gathering, threatening rain, and like many others, we too head back down. On the way back, we decide to make a quick stop at Malga Messner, precisely to try one of the daily desserts listed on the blackboard at the entrance. Malga Messner is a beautiful wooden building in Tyrolean style, complete with a panoramic terrace. The ambience is well-kept, both outside (on the terrace) and inside. A modern, state-of-the-art stove blends perfectly with the interior. At the windows, colorful, ornate curtains frame the views beyond, like paintings.

13/08/2025: Today we went up to the mountain hut, so far so good! Since there was no room, we sat in front of the fireplace on two logs and a taller log that served as a table. It was beautiful. The waitress with tattoos on her arm went around to all the tables to take orders, ignoring us sitting in front of the fireplace. Finally, he arrived and we asked if we could order, to which he replied that he doesn't take orders where we were sitting! We left, shame on us.

20/08/2025: This hut is not recommended. It's more of a Michelin-starred restaurant in the middle of the Dolomites, or rather a posh après-ski bar. The prices are very inflated, even considering that it's located in the mountains and the corresponding transportation costs are included in the price calculation. Unfortunately, we were only served at the beginning. After that, no one served us again, not even when two more people arrived. The staff started packing up two hours before closing time, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere and felt like being kicked out. After waiting for over an hour, we paid and left. The restroom is worth seeing, though. I hope that the Emilio Comici Hut will focus more on customers who don't want to spend €300 on a single visit. It's better to seek out other dining options.

20/08/2025: What a great (and affordable) lunch! We had to wait until we could order, but once we did everything went fast and smooth. Great place also for kids with a big slide outside. Great toilets. Price was good. I recommend this to all my friends if they go to val gardena

23/08/2025: The central location is absolutely strategic, both for its proximity to Schenna's monuments and for organizing public transportation to the funiculars and other towns. We made great use of the guest pass, which is a real plus for tourists. The restaurant staff is truly kind and helpful 🔝. The only downside was the management of room assignments: as non-smokers, we repeatedly found ourselves with neighbors smoking on the balcony (absolutely permitted) like "chimneys." By keeping the window open at night, smoke would often fill our room from very early in the morning until late, so much so that we were forced to turn on the air conditioning when it wasn't necessary due to the outside temperatures.

21/08/2025: Everything is just perfect here. The staff are all incredibly friendly, very accommodating, and service-oriented. Breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is also very good. The two pools are fantastic, and everything is beautifully landscaped. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back. Thank you so much. You are GREAT!❤️

26/07/2025: I stopped by yesterday morning and picked up a strudel to go. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly, heating it up for me and putting it in a handy tray. He also offered me a little vanilla cream (poured into a coffee cup!) if I wanted it. I was impressed by the service and especially by the strudel, which was delicious! I'll definitely be back.

The pizza is also excellent, with a light crust and the freshest ingredients. The service is impeccable: the staff are friendly, smiling, and always available, making you feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish. A delightful experience that combines quality, flavor, and hospitality. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a special lunch or dinner.
