18/12/2025: We had a wonderful short break at the Thalguter!
We were able to start our arrival day with breakfast, and our room was already prepared. From the warm welcome and friendly service to the helpful tips for excursions, everything was always done with attention and a smile. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, the spa area is inviting and relaxing, and the room is spacious with a balcony and a beautiful view. The location is ideal for hikes directly from the hotel or from one of the nearby cable cars, or even for a stroll to Merano. Supermarkets and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and we will definitely be back!
05/12/2025: A family-friendly atmosphere with all the benefits of impeccable organization: squaring the circle. A very refined atmosphere without that intimidating exclusivity. Everything is spotless, well-organized, and the staff is attentive and friendly; it's hard to find fault. To find fault: the bathroom lacks a bidet (as is often the case in these parts), despite many years of honorable service, but perfectly clean and efficient. The pool and sauna are remarkable. The breakfast... simply fantastic. If we ever return to this area, this will definitely be the first place we'll consider.

30/12/2025: My boyfriend and I spent four days at Resciesa Chalet. This chalet has been in the family for four generations. We received a warm and friendly welcome. The chalet was heated and very clean! The view is stunning! From the chalet, you have a beautiful view of the Dolomites. It was special to see this every morning. The owner is very friendly and takes all dietary and other preferences into account, and is very helpful in planning a fun day out. We had a wonderful time, thanks in part to the openness of the staff and the owner!

12/12/2025: Unlike some frustrated customers who probably take their disappointments out of the reviews, we had a wonderful time. The place is located right on the road to the Aurina Valley. Very fast and friendly service, two beautiful girls who SPEAK ITALIAN.
The buckwheat cake was delicious, as was the strudel. I highly recommend it for anyone passing through.

06/03/2026: Beautiful and newly renovated, this chalet offers a panoramic view enhanced by the splendid floor-to-ceiling windows and its extraordinary location. It's also accessible on foot in winter thanks to the nearby free parking. The table service is fast and very organized, serving traditional dishes. The option of billing separately, a practice now widespread in Canazei and the surrounding area, is an excellent commercial choice. Finally, especially in larger groups, but also for the more "smart" ones, guests pay for what they consume, not what others at the same table/group consume. 5☆☆☆☆☆
Must try.

We stayed four nights and were sad to leave. We thank the owner, Sonia, for her helpfulness and advice, as well as her entire female staff.

The service was extremely courteous, warm, and attentive.
The food was delicious and, above all, quite unique – in the best possible way. They use regional and seasonal ingredients, which makes the dishes very interesting and high-quality. Therefore, I can certainly understand the "normal" prices for the rather small portions. We found the portion sizes just right; we could enjoy a main course and dessert without feeling stuffed. We were also very impressed with the farm-made ice cream :-)
The secluded location was actually quite pleasant for us.

25/03/2026: Our group of 8 hikers all really enjoyed dinner and our overnight stay here. The climb up is steep at the end of a long day hiking, but the first beer tasted all the better for it! The staff were hospitable, the rooms were comfortable and the 'Halbpension' food was excellent. The views from the hut's terrace of the Sellagruppe are stunning. One can recommend it without hesitation. 5 stars. Thank you!
13/03/2026: Nice views and music sounds ok for apres ski, however staff does not give a s*it to serve you and get the orders. Left and found better place.
