28/10/2025: A Wonderful Dining Experience – Exceptional Food and Hospitality We arrived after a long bike ride, still in full gear and outside the official opening hours, and asked if the kitchen was still open. After a quick check, the staff kindly agreed to serve us — and from that moment on, everything was simply fantastic. We started with homemade bread in four different colors, served with matching spreads — already worth mentioning on their own. The amuse-bouche, saffron rice fritters on olive paste, was a promising start. The following dishes were outstanding: ravioli filled with cod and tagliatelle with shrimp — both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The octopus on lemon purée was tender and beautifully balanced, while the seared tuna with braised fennel and seasoned spinach was nothing short of a revelation. Dessert was another highlight: the tiramisu struck a perfect balance between the cream and soaked biscuits — not too watery, not too dry — easily one of the best we’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and even stayed open a little longer so we could enjoy our late lunch at 4 p.m. As a charming final gesture, we received the cookies served with our coffee as a small package to take with us. Prices were absolutely fair for the quality and generous portions. Many restaurants charge similar prices for food that’s nowhere near as refined. In short: a truly memorable experience — from the warm welcome to the very last bite.

30/10/2025: The Lazaunhütte is an absolute gem in the South Tyrolean mountains! The terrace offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Lanzun Glacier – you could gaze at this magnificent mountain scenery forever. We were particularly impressed by the excellent food. The quality and taste of the dishes far exceeded our expectations. You can tell that the food is prepared with passion and high-quality ingredients. Another highlight was the entertaining and warm conversation with the owner. This personal touch makes the visit a special experience, and you immediately feel welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic South Tyrolean hospitality in a spectacular mountain setting.

24/02/2026: Excellent restaurant/pizzeria for both lunch (often frequented by workers due to its convenient location and the option to pay with meal vouchers) and dinner. They also offer the convenient option of taking out both pizzas and other dishes.

The bigger the group, the better the approach, the better the customer service, the better the service. The owner divides the customers according to how much money they are likely to spend. Unfortunately, this is also common in many other businesses. Sad. 🤷🏼‍♂️😒

19/02/2026: Sopramonte's Bar Revolta isn't just a bar: it's the town's hub, a place where people meet, chat, and build community. What makes it special, above all, is Stefano, the owner. A true hospitality acrobat: contagious energy, rare availability, and a passion that shines through in every detail. It's thanks to him that Sopramonte always has something new, some interesting initiative, another reason to meet up. The wine list is surprising for a small town: a curated selection of wines, champagnes with important labels and not just Trento DOC, innovative, distinctive beers on tap. You can sense attention, research, and a desire to offer something of quality. Stefano organizes events, music in the square, themed evenings... he brings life and excitement, creates connections between people, and gives life to the town. He's a hard worker and deserves the respect and esteem of all the townspeople. The fact that he doesn't even live in Sopramonte makes it even more evident how much effort and dedication he puts into what he does. In a small town, making a difference is not a given. Here the difference has a name: Stefano and a surname (his collaborators)

07/04/2026: I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel – quite the opposite: it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. We purchased a voucher from the company We are Travel in 2025 and wanted to redeem it for a stay in October 2026. Upon our initial inquiry in March 2025, we were politely assured that the dates would be no problem and that we should simply contact them again a month later. From that point on, however, it was a constant back and forth: A month later, we were suddenly told to contact them again at the beginning of 2026. So we did – on January 1st, 2026, we inquired again, only to receive another completely contradictory statement: bookings with vouchers were only possible one month before arrival. In the meantime, it was no longer possible to return the voucher – they systematically string you along until you have no options left. Even a personal visit to the hotel didn't resolve the issue: We were promised a callback – but nothing happened, except for another standard email with the same excuse. On our second visit, we finally encountered the responsible employee, who treated us in such an unfriendly and arrogant manner that we felt utterly unwelcome as guests. Her exact words: She wasn't interested in our wishes – the hotel simply "filled gaps." At the same time, we were informed that both our desired dates and all alternatives were "always fully booked" – making redeeming the voucher practically impossible. When we asked to speak to the hotel management, we received only an arrogant reply: "For you, I'm the boss." We booked our vacation, but never took it. In conclusion: This hotel advertises vouchers that, in practice, are hardly redeemable (only at times convenient for the hotel) or not redeemable at all. Customers are strung along, treated poorly, and ultimately fobbed off. Service, customer focus, and reliability are clearly foreign concepts here. One star is still too generous – zero stars would be more appropriate.

07/04/2026: Disaster! We had a voucher, but despite repeated inquiries, patience, and even two personal visits, we were unable to redeem it. We asked for a solution, but the unfriendly, arrogant, and condescending receptionist informed us that vouchers can only be redeemed if the hotel can use them to fill vacancies. As a teacher, it's unfortunately impossible for me to get time off work precisely when the hotel has availability. Furthermore, you can only inquire about potential vacancies a month in advance. When we asked if we could speak to the hotel management, the receptionist told us that she was the boss. All in all, we are very disappointed, as we paid for the voucher but couldn't redeem it. "Friendly" is clearly not the motto here. Absolutely not recommended. 1 out of 5 stars – and that's still too generous. A real shame.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the impeccable cleanliness of the property: from the common areas to the rooms, everything is neat and meticulously maintained. The rooms are bright, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a warm atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. The owner deserves special mention: kind, helpful, and friendly. His discreet yet attentive presence contributes significantly to creating a pleasant atmosphere, where you can experience authentic South Tyrolean hospitality. Our stay at Gasthof Paul exceeded all expectations: cleanliness, comfort, professionalism, and friendliness combine perfectly, making this property an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy a few relaxing days in the Isarco Valley. A place we recommend without hesitation and will gladly return to!

17/02/2026: We reserved a table in advance twice, but when we arrived, it was occupied by other customers, and we had to wait 30 minutes. Once seated, we ordered, and the wait was incredibly long; other customers who arrived after us were served first. Terrible service. Same experience twice.
