While I understand that every property has its own cancellation policy, I believe that true hospitality means showing empathy and understanding when unexpected health issues occur. The hotel’s policy feels rigid and unfair to guests who face genuine emergencies. I sincerely hope they reconsider their approach and become more compassionate and flexible in handling future cases like this. However, I would like to clarify that my cancellation was made less than two hours after the stated deadline, not several days later as implied. I contacted both Agoda and your hotel directly via email to ask for at least a partial refund out of goodwill and compassion — not as an obligation — but received no empathy or flexibility in return. It is disappointing to see your reply misrepresent the facts, especially when I have provided full documentation and communication records. 04/11/2025: We stayed one night at this hotel, a truly positive experience! A modern hotel with all the comforts, a simple and clean room, a 24-hour pool, a very nice bar, and an excellent restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's very convenient for those who want to visit Lake Braies, just 15 minutes away. I highly recommend the experience and dinner at the restaurant!

29/10/2025: ATTENTION NEW MANAGER! This review was for the previous pizzeria. I need to try it before judging. What can I say? It's definitely one of the best pizzerias serving Northern Italian-style thin-crust pizzas. Not a good choice if you're looking for Neapolitan pizza, as the dough is very thin. But if you like this type of pizza, you're in the right place. The dough is easy to digest and the ingredients are high-quality. The place is very small, so we don't always order take-out. Delivery is almost always fast, though. 8/10

02/06/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ansitz Rungghof. The location amidst the vineyards is beautiful and creates a particularly relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are lovely and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We would especially like to highlight the breakfast, which was beautifully served on a tiered stand. The half-board option also impressed us – it was of very high quality and highly recommended. Overall, the value for money is excellent. We would gladly return!

23/05/2026: First off, the view from the hotel is amazing. It was so easy to have a glass of wine on the terrace looking into the Dolomites. Then the staff was always amazing and attentive, and breakfast was quite lavish as well. Would absolutely recommend.

03/05/2026: We were there at the end of April with our three children and grandparents, and it was truly wonderful! A stunning mountain panorama and an extremely family-friendly hotel! The children had plenty of play options, a fantastic playground, and a pool! There's a children's buffet at dinner, which is perfect because the kids can eat when they're hungry and then go back to playing while the adults enjoy a delicious three-course meal! The gondola provides easy access to the valley, and there are perfect hiking trails right from the hotel! The activities program (e.g., yoga) was also great! All in all, we highly recommend it for a relaxing and active weekend with the family!

15/04/2026: As unfriendly as the staff at the cable car were, we were all the more surprised by the truly excellent food. We actually didn't want to stay for lunch at all. Therefore, full marks! 👍

04/04/2026: A place that brings local customs to life. You immerse yourself in and experience the Ladin culture through the style, decor, waiters' uniforms, and especially the food. We felt truly welcome and welcomed. The waiter, Vlad, was very professional and present at just the right time. The dishes were exceptional and prepared with such care. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening! We'll be back!

25/12/2025: We spent a wellness weekend at the Alpiana. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the spa area, which is truly beautiful. The saunas are fantastic, the infusions were always a wonderful experience, and the view is breathtaking. One minor criticism: the rooftop pool was a bit too cold for our liking, so we couldn't stay in it for very long. A few degrees warmer would have made it much more pleasant. Unfortunately, we were less impressed with the vegan options. The hotel heavily promotes itself as vegan-friendly and claims to offer many vegan alternatives. However, our experience only partially confirmed this. The main courses at dinner, in particular, seemed somewhat unimaginative on both evenings – mostly vegetables, very little protein, and generally lacking in variety. There's so much more potential here, especially since vegan cuisine can be so creative. There wasn't even a vegan option for the afternoon cake, which we found disappointing considering the website's presentation. It's a bit misleading. All in all, the stay was very enjoyable, especially thanks to the superb spa area. However, we see room for improvement when it comes to vegan food.

08/06/2026: I've never eaten such a good and creative pizza. They don't have standard pizzas, but there's something for everyone. The service was top-notch; we arrived without a reservation, and there were no raised eyebrows, even though we were a party of six, including small children.

The highlight was the incredibly delicious evening menus. I was absolutely delighted with the food, the staff is friendly, competent, and helpful. I highly recommend it!
