12/06/2025: Lunch break with barley soup and cake...incredibly good...Compliments to the elderly owners with their heart and culinary skills. I'm always happy to stop at an inn like this on long bike rides. Stay away from tour buses and hordes of Chinese or American tourists; this isn't for you. The menu is too small, no fancy microwaved convenience food is served, nothing is written in English, and the restroom doesn't have a Dyson hand dryer. Everyone else will find a beautiful little idyll here, the likes of which are rare these days... .

25/04/2025: In Val di Vizze, a corner of paradise located in the valley. The internal lounge for wonderfully familiar and warm eating. Crazy trio of dumplings. Incredible venison and delicious children's cutlet with sautéed potatoes and sauerkraut and speck salad. To close, wonderful Kaiserschmarrn with blueberry sauce. Recommended for everyone with an external children's area. Incredible experience on a family sensory level

15/06/2025: A breath of fresh air and quality in Castello Tesino! Having just arrived in town, I wanted to try the new restaurant "Da Pezza" intrigued by the original proposal of Indian cuisine... and I was surprised to also find a rich fish menu, worthy of the best seaside resorts! I ordered shrimp cocktail, scallops au gratin, octopus salad, spaghetti allo scoglio and mixed fried food. Everything was really excellent, fresh and abundant, so much so that I almost forgot I was in the mountains: closing my eyes, it seemed like I could smell the sea and evening walks on the coasts. The spaghetti allo scoglio was perfectly balanced, the octopus salad was rich (with potatoes, olives and a perfect dressing) and the fried food was crunchy and light. To finish, an amazing mango cream ice cream, which I recommend to everyone. My partner was also enthusiastic: she chose an Indian dish and the fried fish, both excellent. The family management is evident: Justin in the dining room is courteous and knowledgeable, while his father in the kitchen conveys experience and passion. Even though the place was full (a great sign!) the wait was more than understandable. I personally complimented them at the end of the evening, hoping that they will maintain this quality and care over time. P.S.: I haven't tried the pizza, but only because I already have my regular place here in town... but sooner or later I will try that too! In short: a great discovery, a novelty that is good for Castello Tesino. We will return again and again! I forgot: more than fair prices!

24/06/2025: Weekend immersed in nature. We stayed for the first time in this hotel located in the heart of the Alpe di Siusi. From the moment of booking we found maximum availability and courtesy to make the weekend special. As a housing solution we chose a corner suite that to say the least gives you the sensation of resting directly inside the forest thanks to the scent of the natural wood with which it is made and with a view that extends towards the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites. As for the services, the wellness area and the heated indoor/outdoor pool are exceptional for beauty, functionality and cleanliness. Finally the catering, dishes as we like them 'not too heavy' and with top quality ingredients. Finally how can we not mention the possibility of using all the common facilities and services even on the day of departure. This possibility allowed us to spend 2 entire days in one of the most beautiful places in the Alpine arc. Thank you and compliments not only for the structure but also for the professionalism and courtesy of all the staff. We will definitely be back.

24/06/2025: Thanks to the constant upgrade, I'd like to give it one more star, but unfortunately, that's not possible. The location and view from the room were fantastic. But the food and staff also more than deserve full marks. Of course, all of this comes at a price. But you're even happier when you realize that the price was actually worth it. You can't help but warmly recommend the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

19/06/2025: The hotel is run very personally by the owners, ensuring guests feel at home. The owner offers guided excursions weekly. It's well worth it! Two pools, indoor and outdoor, invite you to relax after a hike, as long as there aren't too many children running around in them. The food is very good and varied. However, the street noise is very disturbing, and unfortunately, this hasn't improved in recent years.

14/06/2025: The rooms are a bit dark. There's no bright ceiling light, and there aren't enough electrical outlets. Otherwise, everything's been great.

07/02/2025: To my regret, I must admit that in the past the pizza was larger and thicker (just look at the photos from 2/3 years ago). Now, it is thin like a normal pizza from a pizzeria. It's no longer a shovel (just for the shape) I understand that the costs of living are increasing but putting an extra (basil) at €1 and 1 1.5 liter bottle of cola at €4.50 seems excessive to me.

16/07/2025: It's a slightly dated pizzeria, the kind that reminds me of when I was a kid. It's simple, with pizza, drinks, and a limited menu. The pizza is good, but the only flaw is that they avoid using pickled ingredients like capers, even if you think you've washed them thoroughly. They do offer a lovely sorbet, which is a real treat. If you're looking for something casual and unpretentious, this is the place to be.

22/05/2025: I only went there for cappuccino and brioche, but I had a good time: they have lactose-free liquids for the cappuccino, a wide selection of jams and creams for the brioche, fast and courteous service. It's great for a short break.

04/07/2025: I tried to order pizzas at this pizzeria, but I was really disappointed by the attitude of the staff. The phone was answered by a very arrogant girl who, not understanding the order well (probably due to the disturbed signal), the third time I repeated it to her, she answered me in an annoyed way telling me that "I could have gotten the pizzas somewhere else". Honestly, this is not the way to address a customer. The pizzas may be good, but education comes first. Too bad. 👎
