08/06/2025: I've been coming to the Steinerhof in Pfelders since 2003 and, after a long break, I've returned with a friend. The entire Hofer family is characterized by their warmth and hospitality. Even after nine years, it feels like "coming home." The apartments are spacious and have great balconies for enjoying the beautiful view. The biggest highlight is the rides with the fantastic Haflinger horses, lovingly trained by Alberich and his daughters. Thanks to the attentive guidance of the family members, we quickly gained confidence on horseback in the challenging terrain of Pfelders. The family's farm tavern is also highly recommended. Katy prepares delicious dishes using regional and home-grown products. You once again made our stay something special - thank you very much, we look forward to seeing you again soon.😊

11/03/2025: Il ristorante si trova in centro al piccolo paese di Plan in val Passiria. È molto accogliente e arredato in stile rustico, tutto in legno. Il personale molto gentile. I piatti tipici sono gustosi e abbondanti e a base di prodotti a km 0. Le carni provengono dall'allevamento di famiglia. La cuoca Katy è molto brava ad usare gli ingredienti per i piatti tipici! Ottimi i dolci. Per finire il proprietario signor Alberich propone l'assaggio delle sue grappe a base di erbe e radici autoprodotte, vere medicine, naturalmente senza esagerare. Consigliato a chi ama i piatti rustici.

17/08/2025: A welcoming mountain hut in a splendid location (2,036 m), where the food is excellent. Excellent traditional dishes and truly delicious and special desserts, such as poppy seed strudel and ricotta/quark cakes. There's also a small stall selling local products. Suggested itinerary: Circular hike starting in Santa Gertrude, follow trail no. 140, through meadows and woods, towards Lake Fontana Bianca. Once you reach the lake, take trail no. 101, which climbs steeply through the woods to the mountain hut. Return: From the mountain hut, descend through the woods along trail no. 107, which rejoins trail no. 140 towards Santa Gertrude.

26/08/2025: A welcoming place, a little sparse in the sense that I feel it lacks a bit of liveliness in terms of customer entertainment, perhaps due to the limited staff (two, owner and waitress). Still, it's a quiet place where you can truly enjoy your meal in peace. Food: good, even the meat, in my opinion, is above average in Trentino. The price is perhaps a little high, especially if you're Tuscan. However, the quality/price comparison isn't quite right for the meat, in my opinion. Although, again, for a Trentino native, I'd say it holds its own more than well. One small point: I would have liked someone to ask for the Florentine steak to be cooked rare, but everything was excellent. The owner is truly down-to-earth. I'll definitely return with family and friends to try the pasta dishes and the meat again, perhaps weighing a few kilos this time 😂 given how delicious it was. Overall, I recommend it and will definitely return!! I recommend booking.

16/07/2025: Steinraffler es un hermoso restaurante con una vista impresionante sobre Brixen. El ambiente es acogedor y tiene un ambiente encantador, familiar: padre e hijo trabajan juntos aquí, creando una experiencia verdaderamente especial. Los platos se preparan con tanto amor y cuidado. Me gustó especialmente el aperitivo de trucha. Mi padre tenía el plato de burrata y también le gustó mucho. Estaba fresco, delicadamente sazonado y simplemente delicioso. La carne estaba maravillosamente tierna, tal como me gusta, y el postre era un sueño absoluto: una combinación perfecta de albaricoque y chocolate. El joven chef Julián hace un trabajo increíble, trabajando con pasión y dedicación se puede sentir en cada detalle. Definitivamente voy a volver!

05/06/2025: This was our first time at the Thalguter Hof and we opted for an apartment, immediately booking again for next year :) I think that says it all: we felt comfortable there. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked, the entire team was very friendly, and we were delighted to be able to vacation there with our dog. We'd love to come back.

18/04/2025: Very nice hotel with a wonderful indoor pool. The very friendly staff were particularly noteworthy. The hotel is very family-friendly and the price-performance ratio is also great. The breakfast buffet has a large selection and is very tasty. We'd love to come back!

07/09/2025: Without a doubt a great location. But it has a chic feel, with Porsches advertised everywhere. It's even parked right in front of the hut. Truly great, both inside and out. The food looked delicious, and inside, the display case is lined with fine wines. But somehow it doesn't quite fit in a hiking area. It's easily accessible on foot from Passo Gardena in a short time.

11/07/2025: We got a seat quickly, but then were ignored for over 30 minutes. The drinks and food were very good. A little tip: Don't sit in the quiet booth where no one can see you.

12/07/2025: For years, we've been bringing home the bakery's wonderful Schüttelbrot and the incredibly delicious Vinschgauer pastries from our vacations. This year, we tried the apricot croissants for the first time. Absolutely heavenly.

11/08/2025: My first time at the Waldsee Hotel was a lovely surprise. Mrs. Judit was empathetic, always courteous, and helpful. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. In the evening, dinner is served outdoors, adding further value to an already splendid location. The proximity to the popular Fiè lakes doesn't bother guests; the after-dinner stroll to the lake was a wonderful daily experience for us. You truly feel immersed in nature, and it's an ideal starting point for excursions that cater to all tastes. Breakfast and dinner were excellent; we appreciated the quality of the food. It's definitely a delightful experience worth repeating.

07/08/2025: **Hotel Review** We discovered the hotel in the fall of 2024 while on a hike. At that time, it was either under renovation or simply closed. We definitely wanted to spend a week here in the summer, as the surrounding area is truly charming. The hotel's location is undoubtedly a major advantage. There are countless hiking trails and breathtaking views that make a stay worthwhile. However, we were disappointed with the rooms. They seem dated and could desperately use a refresh. While we weren't surprised, as we had already gotten a first impression from our initial exploration, we would have appreciated a bit of modernization. The staff was very attentive and friendly at the beginning of our stay, but this attention dwindled over time. The breakfast was average and offered no special highlights. They tried to make dinner at the hotel appealing to us, but since there are many other restaurants nearby, we ultimately decided against it. One thing that particularly bothered us was the negative reaction of some guests to our children. Many families were present, and while the children were observing and carefully catching lizards, a woman verbally attacked them. Our children never harmed the animals and always released them. Such behavior is unacceptable and spoils the atmosphere, which is intended for a family vacation. The spa and pool are decent and offer welcome relaxation after our hikes. In summary, we will definitely visit the area again, but not at this hotel. The location is beautiful, but the dated rooms and the mixed atmosphere among the guests make us think of other accommodations.
