01/05/2026: Small, clean hotel with very friendly staff. The garden and pool are fantastic! The surroundings are great. We've stayed there several times and will definitely come back.

12/04/2026: We stayed at this hotel last night, three families in a group. Our room (a quadruple) was clean and tidy, with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. As for the breakfast: plentiful and with a wide selection of homemade pastries. The staff were very kind and smiling, but not intrusive, and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you for making our stay even more pleasant.

07/01/2026: Always TOP ski holidays! For a few years now, we've been spending ski holidays or quick 2-3 days at this magnificent hotel, in true "slipper" style, relaxing to the max. New rooms with a modern and linear design, incredibly beautiful, spotlessly clean, as are ALL the hotel's areas. The atmosphere is elegant and familiar, with fresh flowers every day, tended by the owner, making every space even more welcoming. Excellent food, whether for breakfast, snacks, or dinner. TOP! 01/01/2026: Beautiful, traditional hotel, recently renovated (some rooms are modern, others traditional, but all spacious) with a large spa, next to the Belvedere/Ciampac ski lift. Impeccably clean. The food and service are excellent, and the gourmet restaurant is top-notch—a real effort considering it's been family-run for generations. Definitely worth a try!

09/03/2026: A simple but very welcoming place. Excellent service. The food is very good. The "Goulash with polenta and mixed mushrooms" and the "Grilled cheese with polenta and mixed mushrooms" are excellent. The dumplings are decent. The music is exceptional, relaxing. We had a great time here. I recommend it!

02/03/2026: The best place by the ski slope for lunch. Still within walking distance and the food is great. We had pizza from a super oven, and mushroom lasagna. At the end, an espresso. Everything was absolutely fine.

25/12/2025: The only problem: there's no elevator. Otherwise, it's fine!

14/10/2025: We stayed at the hotel for three nights on our motorcycle tour. Excellent service, super hospitality, everything was perfect. The host even drove us in his own car to a restaurant where we enjoyed Törggelen (traditional German Törggelen). Thank you so much, Guzzy :))

06/03/2026: Beautiful and newly renovated, this chalet offers a panoramic view enhanced by the splendid floor-to-ceiling windows and its extraordinary location. It's also accessible on foot in winter thanks to the nearby free parking. The table service is fast and very organized, serving traditional dishes. The option of billing separately, a practice now widespread in Canazei and the surrounding area, is an excellent commercial choice. Finally, especially in larger groups, but also for the more "smart" ones, guests pay for what they consume, not what others at the same table/group consume. 5☆☆☆☆☆ Must try. I don't know if there are rooms available.

05/05/2026: We had a wonderful week at Hotel Unterschattmeier and can wholeheartedly recommend it. We were particularly impressed by the newly renovated rooms, the fantastic location with its stunning views, and the welcoming, family atmosphere. The absolute highlight, however, was the cuisine – every day we enjoyed freshly prepared, incredibly delicious dishes made with great attention to detail. We have never experienced such quality and flavor in any other hotel. We would love to return!

Beautiful hiking trails begin right at the doorstep – ideal for anyone who loves nature and relaxation. This family-run hotel impresses with its exceptional warmth and service, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are superbly equipped, spotlessly clean, and offer truly breathtaking views. The food is an absolute highlight: The owner conjures up delicious dishes every day, each one a delight! And then there's the excellent, estate-grown wine – simply perfect. The pool area is also fantastic, especially the infinity whirlpool with its panoramic view, which is incredibly inviting. Friendliness and service are truly paramount here – you can't help but feel completely at ease! 🤭
