18/02/2026: Fantastic South Tyrolean cuisine! The food was delicious and we were able to fully enjoy our last day of vacation. We highly recommend the Gasthaus Kohlgrube. The service was also first-class and perfectly rounded off our visit :-) Thank you

15/03/2026: Unfortunately, a very unpleasant experience. The place was full of drunk patrons who caused a lot of noise and chaos. We pointed this out to the bouncer, but he didn't intervene, probably because they were his friends. Very disappointing.

27/05/2026: The gnocchi were excellent. The owners told us the story of the Bolognese sauce and were very kind.

23/04/2026: My gnocchi were homemade, and it showed (with blue cheese sauce). Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. The value was good. The establishment was clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.

10/11/2025: Wonderful experience. My partner and I stayed at the agriturismo in the second week of November, in the middle of autumn. Mrs. Cinzia welcomed us and gave us tons of advice and brochures on activities in the Val di Non. We had a Wonderbox that included two nights, two dinners, and two breakfasts. The room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The breakfast was very good (both sweet and savory) with typical local products. For dinner, you have to go to a partner restaurant (Trattoria al Sole) with excellent traditional cuisine. A car is essential. The surprising thing is that we expected there to be limits on orders, but instead we could order an appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, dessert, and coffee! The only thing excluded from the Wonderbox was wine. In short, we truly felt treated like royalty on this vacation. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, both at the agriturismo and at the restaurant. Highly recommended as an experience, especially for the food.

19/10/2025: I stayed at this property with my partner using a Wonderbox and we had a great time. It's a very nice agriturismo. Our room had a window overlooking the mountain and right in front of it was a fenced area with two very beautiful horses.

02/06/2026: The standard has dropped since previous years: service is unprepared to accommodate a certain number of guests; the spa has become a children's water park... and the head receptionist should be careful not to yell at guests who have just paid for everything (and more) while they're still in the lobby!

31/05/2026: This is my review from 2 years ago (you'll find this year's at the end): What can I say about this hotel? It's a dream, the chef and all the waiters are incredibly helpful. I have many allergies besides wheat, and I have to say that every day I had a different and delicious breakfast and dinner. The same dishes were gluten-free, and not everyone can do that. I never attended lunch, because in these wonderful places, you can't help but stroll and enjoy the view. But thanks to their lunch box service, which I could choose the evening before, they ensured I had a quick lunch to take on my excursions. The hotel is very clean and organized. The room was spotless and impeccable every day. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. They make you feel at home, but the food is better than at home. A special thanks to chef Angelo and to Angelo in the dining room, who pampered me and served me with great professionalism and attention. We'll be back next year. We left off like this: "We'll be back next year," but this year, when we tried to make a reservation, we were told: "We no longer accept dogs." So I'll say one thing: from a hotel that is part of a diocese, and which, as Saint Francis teaches us, "Love animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and an undisturbed joy. Don't disturb it, don't mistreat them, don't deprive them of their joy, don't oppose the divine thought." Or even Pope John Paul II said: "Animals possess a divine breath, and one day we will rediscover them in the Mystery of Christ." Now my family and I have to deprive ourselves of going on vacation to a place where we all felt comfortable, at home, and where I could eat well despite all the allergies I have, because I can't bring my dog. He goes where I go, and I don't leave him at home, much less would I ever abandon him.

04/05/2026: We spent 5 days in Lajen and ate here twice in the evenings. I really have to think hard to remember the last time I ate so well and experienced such great service and incredibly friendly staff – it was truly special and something we (5 adults + dog) will remember for a long time. Thanks again!

17/05/2026: Accommodation on May 16, 2026: A very rustic guesthouse nestled in a rural valley. The outdoor scenery was absolutely stunning, a true paradise. Waking up amidst such beauty made me feel incredibly happy! 💕One night, two meals: Dinner was a buffet, and the main dishes were all delicious and carefully prepared. Breakfast was rather average, but considering the accommodation, having meals provided was already a blessing. A beautiful fire will appear at 8:10 PM. The Milky Way at night was breathtaking.

14/05/2026: A very retro place, the service you'd expect from a restaurant like this, good food (not the best Chinese food I've ever tasted), and reasonable prices. A la carte menu with takeout available.

05/11/2025: Excellent food, great and friendly service! We spent one night in South Tyrol and wanted an authentic meal in the evening. We found exactly what we were looking for at Bürgerstube Ritten! A fantastic speck and cheese platter followed by a delicious pizza. Add a local beer and you're in heaven. TOP!

14/10/2025: We arrived late but the welcome was warm. 2 waitresses were very friendly, smiling and patient because we don't speak their language. Perfect value for money, nothing to say. Honestly, if you pass by, stop by for a bite to eat.

14/09/2025: I've been to the Sesselschwaige a few times this year, which was newly managed this year. Why a few times? Because the staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests. The food was excellent, I can only recommend it. The cakes are also very delicious. The prices are a bit higher compared to other huts, but considering that the food is regularly airlifted up, I think the prices are really justified. 👍🏻 I can only recommend it. 😊
