Pleasant temperature, light background music and a smile as soon as you enter the room. The selection is quite challenging because each dish gives the impression of being very tasty and it is exactly like that! From the appetizer to the dessert everything is excellent and well looked after and the desire to return is the predominant feeling. Wide choice of wines and surprise, to accompany the dessert, a liqueur wine with sour cherries which, despite being an alcoholic syrup, is not cloying but rather invites you to drink more.

07/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati con degli amici a cena dopo uno spettacolo teatrale. Atmosfera molto gradevole, la signora Paola è stata squisita, con i suoi consigli sul menù e la sua professionalità e cortesia. Ottimo cibo e bella cantina di vini. Torneremo sicuramente.

29/01/2025: The #1 place not to go in Pienza. In the restaurant, there is no cooking, just the sound of the microwave oven running. It looks like it's frozen or just reheated and the taste is very bad. They say there are many other delicious restaurants, so just go somewhere else. The wine is delicious, of course.

24/01/2025: Had a wonderful time at La Bandita Townhouse. Beautiful room and wonderful service. Would recommend to everyone visiting Pienza and surrounding area. We were here during the off season and appreciated how we were taken care of.

12/01/2025: We ended up by pure chance in this little restaurant in the center of Pienza as many were full. We highly recommend it, delicious and very special dishes. Excellent service We ordered the tortello, the gnocchi, the bandita burger, and for dessert the tiramisu and a chocolate dessert (sorry I don't remember the name) ... all good!

23/01/2025: Non capisco come mai ci siano persone che criticano Baccus. Qui si mangia benissimo e l'atmosfera, grazie a Giuseppe ed al suo staff, è serena, rilassante e divertente. L'ideale per passare un po' di tempo in allegria e mangiando piatti ottimi e genuini.

28/11/2024: Tappa veloce a Piensa per degustare principalmente l'ottimo formaggio e così è stato! Crostone con formaggio e tartufo, tagliere misto di ottimi formaggi e due calici di vino! Ambiente accogliente e personale gentile! Prezzi onesti vista la qualità dei prodotti!

31/12/2024: During our quick visit to Pienza, we decided to stop for a quick and tasty lunch at the Osteria de Gusto, opting for a generous aperitif. We tasted an excellent Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva, accompanied by a rich platter of excellent quality cured meats and pecorino. To top it all off, a bread with new oil that really won us over with its intense and genuine flavour. The price was honest and the service was surprisingly quick, perfect for those who want a quick meal without sacrificing quality. A recommended stop to savor the authentic flavors of the area in a simple and pleasant way.

28/01/2025: Tra i numerosissimi ristoranti in zona pochissimi hanno del cibo genuino. Il Poderino è veramente al top. Pochi tavoli. Un menù non ampio. Solo piatti della cucina Toscana fatti come la tradizione vuole e con materie prime di qualità eccezionale. In quattro persone abbiamo preso piatti diversi e tutti di alto livello qualitativo. Vino della casa ottimo, prosciutto raro da trovare.

12/01/2025: Domenica di Gennaio con sole e vento…una gita fuori porta con sosta in questo ristorante dal nome familiare. Con una vista spaziale sulle colline e su Pienza ci accoglie questo simpatico locale ricavato da un annesso di un vecchio podere che vanta anche la possibilità di un soggiorno presso l’omonimo Agriturismo. Menù molto vario e ricco di classici piatti toscani …partendo da una entrée di lonza (offerta) …noi optiamo per il pecorino alla griglia con miele di castagno e noci e pecorino alla griglia con rigatino. Seguitiamo con i Pici all’aglione e una tagliata di chianina al rosmarino…( mi raccomando cottura al sangue!), e ottime le patatine fritte (vere). Un buon corposo calice di vino e caffè. Prezzi adeguati alla ottima qualità del cibo e un sorriso all’oste che ci ha accolto con simpatia, educazione e gentilezza. Se siete in giro nella bella Toscana questa sosta è d’obbligo.
