07/12/2025: This is where I stopped in Pienza during my Tuscany tour! I was planning to go to the restaurant, but they were selling street food in an alleyway, so I bought some! It had a Christmassy vibe, and I was going to try the Pienza Burger, which they recommended, but they said it didn't have tomatoes, so I switched to the Pienza Burger! But, compared to the reviews, I'm not sure. The bun was thick, and the patty, as you'd expect from Italy, was dry and lacked juice. ㅜㅜㅜ But the buttery flavor was nice! Maybe it was different in the restaurant. 🌟🌟 Anyway, I tried it too~~
30/11/2025: A real gem, the gentleman inside was incredibly kind, not to mention his sandwiches, nothing to complain about, and they were digested in just a few minutes. Highly recommended!

19/10/2025: Always a great time. Delicious prosciutto and pecorino, best tartar, omg on the truffle jam and the beer and wine selection great .. Cristoforo and Davide is the best! Love the quaint location!

08/12/2025: A truly pleasant experience, the place is very welcoming and truly charming; the only flaw is the acoustics, which aren't exactly optimal. The staff is extremely friendly. The dishes are excellent, especially the first courses (the tagliatelle verdi are definitely worth mentioning, truly exquisite and delicate), but the second courses are also truly excellent. I highly recommend it, especially for its location, an exceptional village in the Val d'Orcia that's definitely worth a visit: Monticchiello.

14/12/2025: Simple but excellent food. I personally had crostini, pickled vegetables, and bean soup, all excellent. The place is very well kept and the service is fast. Obviously, you have to like the "osteria" style.

Very welcoming and cozy.
The owner is kind and very friendly.
The dishes offered aren't very extensive, but they're delicious!

07/10/2025: We were tempted by the reviews, and what can I say? We were not disappointed. The food was simply delicious (we had pici with wild boar and a Fiorentina steak – over a kilo, wine, beer, schnapps, and tiramisu). We were also asked what music we would like to listen to 😁. We can only share the positive reviews and recommend not being swayed by the entrance – the real gem (food and service) is inside. The owner is simply fantastic. The evening will be unforgettable. Thank you!

20/12/2025: We loved this place. Wonderful food. Lovely service. The chef is so friendly. It felt like we were eating at our grandparents' or beloved uncles' house. I highly recommend it.
22/11/2025: A shared appetizer of crostoni and a main dish each for two. Delicious food made even better by the convivial atmosphere created in the small dining room. The owners are incredibly kind and charming, and the price is high, but it's absolutely worth the experience. I was disappointed to read some of the negative reviews: theirs is an authentic restaurant that helps keep the beautiful village of Pienza alive. There are only two of them working there, and their passion is priceless. They then offered us cantucci with vin santo (which I usually don't like), but this time it tasted different! Their magical atmosphere is certainly to blame. Thank you, and long live you.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!
31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro.
Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.
