10/11/2024: Da fuori il locale non gli daresti un Euro però quando entri ti si apre un mondo, pieno di scritte ovunque anche sui bicchieri, anzi il propietario ti dà lui stesso pennarelli ché puoi usare per scrivere. Il mangiare molto buono tartare al tartufo fenomenale. Consiglio vivamente, poi quando all'entrata c'è fila vuol dire che sì mangia bene.

28/09/2024: Posto particolarissimo nel cuore di Pienza. Molto vissuto e "partecipato" ci si sente in una grande famiglia, leggendo commenti, saluti e battute che occupano muri, soffitto, sedie, tavoli e persino stoviglie. I crostoni sono gustosissimi, e anche il dolce merita. Il proprietario è davvero simpatico e accogliente

14/07/2024: This great wine bar is hidden away on a small side street! The wine recommendations are great and everyone is very friendly. If you're lucky, you'll get a seat outside. We were here today for the second time and hopefully not the last. We'll come back next time we visit Pienza.

03/08/2024: Terrible cured meats from the platter consumed on site, (hard and bottom of the cured meat), congenital focaccia, good porchetta but very cold.

26/10/2024: 14€ un pezzo di pane con un po' di formaggio fuso e tre fette da 1mm di lardo?!?!?! Non aggiungo altro. Evitate, c'è assolutamente si meglio , con un servizio SICURAMENTE migliore. Mi fermo qui. Sconsigliato VIVAMENTE

06/10/2024: Ristorante non commerciale, nel centro di Pienza, molto accogliente. Il cibo eccezionale. Crostone con salsiccia cruda fenomenale. Pici cacio e pepe e al ragù bianco ottimi, cottura perfetta. Tagliata di manzo squisita, da sciogliersi in bocca. Anche i contorni erano ottimi. I Cantucci sono stati la chiusura perfetta di questa cena. Il proprietario simpatico e molto alla mano. Da ritornarci sicuramente!

23/08/2024: Homemade pasta was fantastic. Service less so. Poor communication and slow service with a server who was clearly covering too many tables. Confusion around order of courses, long times to get another glass of wine.

20/08/2024: A must stop in Pienza for the excellent catering and the exquisite courtesy of the owner, as well as chef, who always prepares various dishes of Tuscan cuisine accompanied by wines that she offers with professionalism given that she is also a sommelier! Speciality: pici all'aglione. ..without taking anything away from the other dishes. Definitely an experience to recommend!!

19/11/2024: Arriving by chance on an evening in Monticchiello where everything was closed, we received a very kind welcome despite not having booked. Exquisite food above all expectations, excellent wine, impeccable polite and authentic service. There was not a single dish tasted that was not cooked to perfection and with a quality of raw material that is often not found in much more renowned restaurants. I was traveling with my dad who has already decided that on our return to Tuscany in April we will stop again at the guardhouse and Monticchiello, both deliciously authentic Tuscany!

22/07/2024: A fixed stop for two years now, a place that you absolutely must try. It's a place where my girlfriend and I felt pampered. A restaurant with meticulous attention to detail, a beautiful location located in a former convent all in stone, delicious dishes and a special mention to the staff who pampers you by telling you stories about the wines that are recommended based on the courses, at least that's what they did with us Monica is a girl who should be an example for the waiter profession. Their tiramisu and ravioli with ossobuco are delicious, not to mention the pork belly cooked for 24 hours; my girlfriend also really liked the pasta with lemon cream. We thank everyone again and in particular Monica for this one-of-a-kind experience, we will be back again!!

20/07/2024: The service and atmosphere of this restaurant were very good. However, among the foods I ordered, some were delicious and some were not so tasty. The salad and cold pumpkin soup were delicious, but the pasta I ate as the main dish wasn't very tasty.

22/08/2024: A very good restaurant on a narrow street with a charming interior. There are some funny touches in the bathroom too. The pasta is excellent, and the waiter is really nice. On the downside, there’s a 16 euro service charge for three adults and two kids. They suggested a glass of wine that turned out to be 20 euros. For four pastas, water, and an espresso, you’re looking at around 120 EUR. A bit over the top.

14/08/2024: Very nice restaurant in the center of Pienza, seating both inside and outside with fast and impeccable service, tagliatelle with delicious wild boar ragù but I recommend the piaci as a type of pasta, a particular but very good dessert and excellent local wine; super recommended! Price a little high but sometimes it's ok :)

16/08/2024: Sono stata con un’amica a cena a Ferragosto dato che soggiornavamo a Pienza. Lo staff era gentilissimo e super disponibile. Il cibo tipico toscano era davvero ottimo e i prezzi più che onesti, siamo rimaste soddisfattissime. Lo consigliamo vivamente

21/08/2024: Ci siamo stati oggi a pranzo ci siamo trovati molto bene abbiamo preso un tagliere salumi e formaggi misti e una grigliata mista salumi e formaggi di ottima qualità così anche la carne personale molto cordiale e prezzi adeguato per quello che mangi sicuramente ci ritorneremo posto consigliatissimo!!
