17/10/2025: The burgers were AMAZING! Whoever said you can’t have a good burger in Italy is lying to you. This is a MUST EAT if you are visiting! The service was top notch and the food was delicious! 10/10!

16/10/2025: A rustic place, not the gourmet one you find in the city. The sandwiches were good. We had the Pio Burger and Cheeseburger, and the prices were excellent. The manager was really kind.

03/09/2025: I honestly don't think this place is worth the hype. After reading so many good reviews we booked a lunch there. The reservation was not necessary because the place was absolutely empty. We had tartare and beetroot tartare and then pasta with truffles and pasta with yellow tomatoes (this was absolutely the worst of the dishes we ordered). Menu seemed interesting but all the dishes we had were just mediocre, nothing special, they lacked the twist, flavour, the taste was very boring. All of them required additional seasoning. So we left disappointed. I don't see how this place could get Michelin recommendation, maybe it changed a lot since then? We had plenty of better meals in Tuscany. Yet this place is more expensive than most of the places in the area. On the good note, the stuff was nice and very attentive. Overall, I think you can easly skip this place if you are in the area and look for something else.

03/10/2025: We went for breakfast every morning since our accommodation was located on the corner. We only had dinner there one night during our 3-day stay in Pienza.

13/10/2025: The friendly and kind manager gave us excellent advice. We ate a lot and really well at a great price. All the ingredients were fresh and natural, and the olive oil was excellent. I recommend the bread and bean soup, it was so good we had to ask for seconds!

30/09/2025: Restaurant right on the edge of Pienza's historic center, with ample metered parking. It has a spacious indoor dining room and a lovely terrace. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious.

05/10/2025: Was immediately attracted by the sign “no pasta, no coffee, no soft drinks”. We loved the place, the feel and the owner was amazing. We tried some awesome pecorino cheeses paired with great flavors of honey and of course the wine was amazing.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!

31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro. Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.

18/10/2025: I had the best lasagna in the world at this restaurant! The flavors were incredible, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with love and quality ingredients. The place was warm and welcoming, with a cozy atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be coming back!

07/10/2025: We were tempted by the reviews, and what can I say? We were not disappointed. The food was simply delicious (we had pici with wild boar and a Fiorentina steak – over a kilo, wine, beer, schnapps, and tiramisu). We were also asked what music we would like to listen to 😁. We can only share the positive reviews and recommend not being swayed by the entrance – the real gem (food and service) is inside. The owner is simply fantastic. The evening will be unforgettable. 17/10/2025: A wonderful experience at this restaurant, which we discovered by chance, or rather by the aroma emanating from its dishes as we passed by. I was looking for another one, but in the end, we decided to try our luck, and I don't regret it at all. First, we ordered Pici al ragù pientino and Pici al truffle pientino (the menu photo may differ slightly from reality); both dishes were very good. To share, we opted for the Chiada eggplant parmesan, which I fell in love with as soon as I tasted the tomato sauce (one of the best I've ever had, and I love that kind of sauce). The experience was very positive, although if you're afraid of wasps, you should sit outside, as at times you'll almost have to share your dishes with them (for me, it wasn't a problem, since if you don't do anything to them, they won't do anything to you either). In short, if I were to return to Pienza, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

17/10/2025: Cute small restaurant, great atmosphere. Had a slow-cooked pork knuckle, was one of the best meat dishes I’ve had in Italy. Strongly recommend.
