16/11/2025: A restaurant with a mediocre ambiance, a very standard menu like many others, and reasonable prices. It's a shame the tuna and Coke ran out on Sunday evening, even though there were only 10 people in the restaurant. We had to settle for mostly second-rate dishes, obviously also superficially prepared despite the quality of the ingredients. I could have said much more, but unfortunately, not in a positive light. I'll briefly conclude by not recommending it to anyone and sharing my disappointment at how it has lost its way over time. (P.S. They have small portions.)

23/11/2025: Leaving the city and heading towards the Pistoia mountains, the curves are truly worth the journey: Macchia Antonini is a wonderful discovery for a Sunday lunch. After a walk in the woods, surprised by the first snow of the season, you sit down to enjoy traditional dishes, where mushrooms and chestnuts blend harmoniously with fresh olive oil and bold wines. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, a true refuge you'll never want to leave. The service could be improved a little, but the restaurant is highly recommended.

10/11/2025: Excellent restaurant. Excellent food. Delicious tagliolini with eggplant. The wild boar stew was good; next time, I'd like a steak. Beautiful location. A classic mountain dish. With the opportunity for lovely walks in the surrounding area.

02/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria (but they also serve a restaurant), informal and welcoming, rustic atmosphere. The pizza, made with whole wheat dough (or alternatively whole wheat), is very good; it's thin, crispy, and well-seasoned. The mushroom scallops and polenta are also very good. Fast and friendly service. Good prices. Reservations are recommended.

23/07/2025: Even without a reservation, you'll receive a friendly welcome and service. The service was friendly and courteous. The food was delicious.

16/11/2025: Large and charming place with karaoke. Plenty of parking. Service is very slow and visibly disorganized. Dishes are very well prepared and made with quality ingredients. Prices are in line with the products.

16/11/2025: Very friendly service, even accommodating an after-hours request (they were kind enough to accommodate it). Delicious sweet and savory options for lunch and an afternoon break.

03/08/2025: Stopped for work. Terrible service, rude baristas, never a smile, and unprofessional customer service. The overall quality of the pastries is terrible.

09/11/2025: It is a welcoming pastry shop with a very refined, almost luxurious interior. I haven't tasted their desserts yet, but I have to give a positive evaluation of my Spritz, which was truly well-made and the service was excellent.

15/09/2025: I'm sorry to have to write this review because in my opinion, the place deserves it. It's completely surrounded by greenery, but the service was definitely terrible. I made a reservation, and it was very, very foggy that day (it wasn't raining). I still got there after a half-hour walk to get there, and they were closed. I don't question their decision to close, it's a personal choice, but isn't it customary to let customers who have reservations know??? I saved myself an hour's walk (there and back) in the thick fog, and also the whole drive since I was coming from Florence. I'm disappointed because it was my boyfriend's birthday and we basically didn't have lunch. If they'd let me know, I would have planned differently. It looks nice from the photos, but we won't be back.

16/08/2025: The people were incredibly kind and helpful. My girlfriend and I were welcomed like real guests. The refuge only accepts cash payments, and we only had a debit card. Nevertheless, they offered us two slices of tart (which was delicious, by the way!), a large bottle of water, and coffee. All without asking! We were almost embarrassed and didn't know how to thank them. The perfect way to end a beautiful day in the woods! Thanks again.

01/11/2025: I really liked it. Orders are served very quickly, and empty dishes are cleared away immediately. All the dishes are delicious, and the staff is very friendly.
