14/06/2025: Unforgettable experience and great food! We were welcomed with great cordiality by Gerardo, the owner: an exquisite person, friendly and at the same time very attentive and professional. He explained the menu to us with passion and showed us the grill, filmed live by a camera, so that we could follow the cooking phases of the meat comfortably from the table. A truly original touch that adds even more value to the experience. After a welcome panzanella, we moved on to a delicious plate of mixed appetizers - including Tuscan crostini, truffle frittatas and local cured meats - and then arrived at the real star: the 1,200-gram steak, divided in two as per the menu, cooked to perfection and served at the table in a spectacular way. We accompanied everything with a trio of side dishes (baked potatoes, spiced chickpeas, carrots and peppers), and then finished on a sweet note with cantucci and vin santo. The wine list is extensive and well-studied, with options to suit all budgets. At the end of the evening we also had the pleasure of chatting with Gerardo on the photo board of some famous and regular guests of the restaurant: a sign that shows how much he really cares about his customers. At the end, when we went out and found ourselves in the rain, Gerardo kindly lent us an umbrella so we could reach the hotel dry. A simple gesture but of rare kindness, which encapsulates the spirit of this place. Perfect experience from every point of view. Highly recommended if you pass by Pistoia, it really deserves it. 06/07/2025: As always we ate very well, especially the Florentine steak, cooked perfectly that enhances the flavor of the highest quality meat, everything excellent from appetizers to first courses including desserts. Tastefully renovated place. Welcoming atmosphere, attentive but never intrusive service and a passion for detail that is perceived in every dish. The wine selection is also excellent, with Lorenzo recommending the right pairing. For me a Guarantee.

07/07/2025: You really eat like a god. Focaccia, pizza, Spinsa... everything is gluten free and if you didn't know it you wouldn't have noticed. Everything is genuine, even the desserts are gourmet, better, tastier and lighter than you can imagine!!!! Courtesy and cordiality accompany customers on a journey of taste that you never want to end. Hey... I'm not celiac or vegan but I'll come back to visit them as soon as I get back to Prato.

04/06/2025: A show of cooking and combinations of flavors and wines. Amazing appetizers, excellent semolina and buffalo mozzarella gnocchi. Desserts too, a mix of creams to remember. Superlative plating, that also counts. A top-class restaurateur and a pleasure to talk to.

12/07/2025: Dinner for two, we ordered an appetizer to share and a bottle of white wine (about €25). The appetizer was good, nothing special. We ordered steak, and they brought the cuts to your table on a trolley. We ordered "two and a half fingers" of steak. It arrived pre-cut, grilled, and of good quality, but the bone didn't match the rest of the meat. Two side dishes, a liqueur, no desserts or coffee. The result was €161 (they gave me 1.5 kg of steak back, but if it was 1 kg, it would have been a miracle), discounted to €150, or €75 each... pure madness! The location (a crossroads in Monsummano) wasn't worth it, the food was good but nothing exceptional, the place was nice in its ordinary way, and the service was excellent in its ordinary way. For the same price, there are plenty of other places that offer much better food... enjoy!

The tartar, the various pasta specialties, the meat, the fresh focaccia bread, the fried vegetables—simply every dish tasted incredible. I wish everyone a wonderful visit to this authentic restaurant.
