15/04/2026: The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, the place is welcoming and very spacious, and the food... if I could, I'd give it a thousand stars! I live far from Livorno, and every time I pass by, it's a must-try. I dream about their croissants at night! It's a celiac's paradise, and hands down, one of the most honest prices. Thank you! I'd love to see you in every city.

03/05/2026: English first, Italian second... If you're considering eating here, do yourself a favor and don't. This place is the opposite of what it advertises. We paid €3 per person for “coperto” and received five tiny, tasteless bread slices that felt like leftovers from a hospital tray. The “pasta with octopus” was actually six overcooked ravioli — 20€ for six pieces. That's not a portion, that's a joke. The sauce tasted like someone stopped caring halfway through. As a certified cook, I can say confidently: this wasn't a meal, it was a rip‑off. The total bill was €50, for mediocre food, and an experience I wouldn't repeat. In a room that was already too hot its still an experience. The staff was basic. The view was basic, nothing special, and the whole place felt tired. The toilet? Broken handle, no urinal, everyone forced to aim at the same tiny bowl, and the light turns off while you're sitting there. It feels like a design flaw nobody bothered to fix. And honestly, the only genuinely beautiful thing about the whole place were the waitress's eyes - Nice eyes don't save a bad restaurant. In short: Overpriced, underwhelming, uncomfortable, forgettable. The only thing you'll remember is the disappointment. If you're thinking of eating here, do yourself a favor and skip it. 18/04/2026: The food is good and cheap...but the problem is that there were two of us and they didn't serve us together...so it was like eating alone at home!! The meat was excellent...the fish lasagna was excellent...but the fried fish was terrible...we couldn't talk because of the noise!! It's not a place for couples 😉

21/03/2026: I went to lunch today with a group of friends at this trattoria I'd heard so much about. The menu is 15 euros for a first course, second course, and side dish. More than the food, you'll remember the experience for the staff, especially Michele, who keeps you on track with his voice and amazes you with his memory. He doesn't write down; he listens, memorizes, and never misses a beat! The fixed price is truly inviting, the portions are generous, the house wine is good, and the punch is very good! We had a great time, even though the wait was long. I recommend booking, otherwise you're out of luck.

05/04/2026: We used to come here a few years ago and it was good, we came back yesterday and we were disappointed, disappointed is an understatement... Really tiny dishes and high prices, we all left hungry, even the children... shameful, pasta with clams with 7/8 clams and not even 80 grams of pasta, penne with scampi with 2 scampi, dishes from 17 euros 18 euros.... the fried food was ridiculous given how small it was... they will never see us again

08/04/2026: The new restaurant da Paolo passes the stress test of its change of location (from the historic Pineta to the new location on Via di Favale) with flying colors. A magnificent and impressive renovation, with meticulous attention to every detail. The outdoor space cries out to be enjoyed, so beautiful, green, and spacious it is, with truly beautiful tables and seating. The menu lived up to expectations, and the linguine with red snapper and spaghetti with clams proved to be absolute champions. The staff in the dining room are enthusiastic about the new opening, yet at the same time extremely precise, polite, and responsive to every request and question. A carefully curated menu that retraces the historic cuisine of da Paolo and also offers an interesting selection of the catch of the day. The wine list is equally extensive and very well-structured. Special mention goes to the desserts, which concluded our first dinner at Paolo in exemplary fashion. Bravo! You have GIVEN Marina di Campo and all of us a new place in our hearts, where we will build new memories and new emotions.

20/01/2026: A very charming little restaurant. Run by a single gentleman who cooks, serves the tables, and does it all himself. That's why it takes a bit longer than in other places. I highly recommend it, especially for those without children. Great food and a cozy atmosphere (if you have time ;-)). Authentic and wonderful!

13/01/2026: Francesco is a magician. Working solo in his tiny kitchen he serves the most creative Seafood dishes in Capoliveri and probably on the whole Island. Excellent quality, cozy atmosphere, good music, fun host. 10/10 and a top 3 Spot on Elba.

08/01/2026: Delicious food at super fair prices! Personally, I found the pasta and pizza portions a bit small, but I often have an unusually large appetite. The staff was friendly and there was nothing to complain about. We went there several times during our vacation and would gladly come back!

13/01/2026: A very pleasant surprise. We stopped for lunch and were delighted to discover that they offer a business lunch during the week. The menu was reasonably priced but offered a wide selection of seafood, meat, and vegetarian dishes. The quality was excellent. And since the eye also wants its share, the food was generous and beautifully plated. We'll definitely be back.

18/04/2026: The waiter, either Francesco or Federico—sorry, I don't remember his name—was amazing. He served us very well, made us laugh, and fed us deliciously, despite it being a tourist spot. We'd be happy to come back!!!

27/04/2026: On a short vacation on Elba Island, I'd been wanting to try the cuisine at Teatro Bistrot for a long time, and I must say it was worth the wait. I started with excellent fried anchovies, followed by spaghetti with mullet bottarga and lemon, which I highly recommend. The tagliolini del teatro, a house recipe, were also delicious. Followed by a magnificent amberjack, the catch of the day. The wine selection is excellent, ranging from the island's local wines to an incredible blanc de noirs recommended by the owner. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options, from the characteristic indoor setting to a beautiful outdoor terrace with an enchanting view. The staff is friendly and attentive, helping you experience the island's atmosphere, captivating you with its beauty. A visit to Teatro Bistrot is not to be missed under any circumstances; I hope to return in September! I thank the owners, Fiona and Antonio, for their wonderful welcome.

18/04/2026: Very good restaurant, super friendly waiters, the food arrived in less than 10 minutes, in my opinion perfect in terms of waiting time and very good quality-price ratio.

04/05/2026: During our holiday in Tuscany, we made a stop in Bolgheri. A small, charming village with a few shops, restaurants, and enotecas. We stopped at this restaurant with our two children. It was nice that there was a small playground where they could play while we enjoyed the view from the terrace and waited for our food. We were received very warmly, and it was great that—whereas most Italian restaurants close at 1 pm—we could simply eat there at lunchtime. We had the ravioli and lasagna. Very tasty! The wine tasted good too. In short, a nice spot to sit and eat during your visit to Bolgheri.

03/05/2026: Terrible experience, poor service (forgotten for 30 minutes without anyone bothering to take our order), cold meat, missing side dish, found it on the bill, and not even an apology!! Unfriendly, worst restaurant in Bolgheri.
