17/08/2025: Restaurant located on a busy street in Porto Azzuro. It's very nicely decorated. The staff isn't overly friendly. When we arrived, the restaurant was far from full, yet we waited 45 minutes for our food. The vegetarian dish of the day contained two and a half marinated carrots on a chickpea puree. The plate was very attractive, but it's not enough to feed someone. Especially since the carrots were really heavily marinated in soy sauce, and it was almost disgusting. A long wait for a mixed result.

16/08/2025: An inn in the historic center, with very narrow outdoor tables, slightly better inside the restaurant, the problem is the pre-cooked and reheated food of decent quality, I absolutely would not go back, we had two dishes of baked fish with grilled vegetables, everything simply pre-prepared and reheated, arrived at our table within a few minutes

17/08/2025: We're regulars, and the service is always impeccable, attentive, and always smiling. Excellent beer and pizza, delicious sandwiches. Highly recommended.

03/08/2025: Really cozy place. Even though it is always full, the atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a beer with friends. The characteristic decor and the vast selection of beers are very nice. The menu offers many choices of dishes for every need. The staff has also always been very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a pub without too many pretensions but with a soul, this is the right place!

03/08/2025: Excellent lunch and great value. The French beef was delicious and incredibly tender! The tiramisu was also exceptional. The service was very friendly, fast and efficient. We would go back immediately if we didn't live far away.

16/07/2025: An ideal place for a holiday with children. Well-maintained accommodations and efficient overall organization. Perhaps the only thing is that the pools are a bit overcrowded and undersized for the number of guests.

16/07/2025: The resort lacks nothing. We had a slightly dark accommodation, but it was clean and had all the comforts. It's primarily a resort for families with children. Away from the hustle and bustle and isolated from neighboring villages, there's no need to leave because everything you need is there. The bracelet, which you use to pay for anything and open your room, is very convenient. The staff is attentive, courteous, and efficient. It's a 4-star resort, so it's quite expensive; perhaps the beach could be a little cheaper (you have to pay for umbrellas and loungers). Otherwise, I'd say it has no flaws. The entertainment is also good, geared primarily toward children, but there's plenty for adults on the beach, too; the kids are well-mannered and very friendly. It's an eco-resort, so it's very committed to energy conservation; in fact, the covered parking lot is equipped with solar panels.

17/06/2025: little signage, paid parking, overturned garbage cans everywhere (everywhere: from the parking lot to the pine forest to the beach, perhaps by wild boars?). poorly maintained area in general. this place would have stratospheric potential, if only someone would take care of keeping it in decent condition.

16/06/2025: Lovely place. Very well-kept Borgo Marino. Too bad about the parking that costs like in Montecarlo.

28/08/2025: A quick lunch before boarding for Sardinia, without having booked. A delightful discovery amidst the narrow streets of Piombino, with an outdoor table in a traffic-free area and shaded by a large tree. Excellent seafood carbonara (off the menu) for four, an excellent bottled Tuscan white wine, three waters, four coffees, and a generous portion of chips for our daughter. The final bill was €142, including a complimentary limoncino for the four adults. The staff were very prompt, friendly, and helpful, and the atmosphere was family-friendly. Highly recommended. SFV

11/08/2025: We stayed at this trattoria, just a few minutes' drive from the port of Livorno. Giuliano was very kind and made himself available. It's a shame the restaurant wasn't open on Sundays... (it's rightly a weekly holiday).

16/08/2025: I had scampi as an appetizer and a first course of spaghetti with shrimp and cacio e pepe. The dishes were tasty, well-prepared, and truly delicious. Everything was very good.

10/08/2025: We stayed in Livorno on day 8 so we could leave for home the next day. We absolutely had to go to this fabulous place for those with both gluten and lactose intolerance, having learned about it on a TV show. The staff were competent, courteous, and friendly, and they weren't at all bothered by my wife's constant questions about whether it was lactose-free or lactose-free. I had the torta del nonno (to say it was good is to understate it), as well as the focaccia with speck or pancetta. Finally, we also met the owner, Mr. Luca, who was friendly and always smiling. I congratulate you on the quality of the food and the professionalism of the entire staff. Best regards.

27/08/2025: An incredibly popular ice cream parlor, it certainly deserves all the attention. Good prices, and if you're at the front of the line, incredibly fast and friendly service. Card and cash payments are accepted. We haven't had dessert at any other restaurant before and always get ice cream here.

27/08/2025: The best gelato on Elba 🤩 The fruit and dark chocolate flavors are dairy-free, making them vegan and suitable for those with intolerances!! Creamy, intense chocolate, truly excellent. The peach almost tasted like a rose, sweet, delicate, and fragrant, with no acidity. However, the flavor varies from day to day, as it's artisanal. There's always a line because it's so good, but the staff serving are super fast. Great location in the center of Porto Azzurro 😁
