23/02/2025: Happened by chance while we were wandering around Cortona..incredible town for its views!!..we hadn't booked..and it was Saturday evening!! But the owner, an exquisite person, still made us sit in comfortable armchairs and from there we were able to order our dishes. My steak with porcini mushrooms was... DIVINE!!! not to mention the local oil that they paired with us. Excellent raw materials. Elegant and refined environment Excellent service

20/03/2025: I had seen this restaurant in a magazine introducing Italy and had wanted to go there someday. I left Florence at 11:00 and went to see Fra Angelico at the museum, so it would be before 2:00, so I just sent an email to make a reservation. The menu on the restaurant's website had some dishes that I couldn't imagine, but I ordered something that looked like it used a lot of vegetables. I was surprised by the appetizer that was brought out first. The rare beef marinated in a jar was so delicious! And the vegetables were arranged like flowers. The waitress ground a large rock salt, and the atmosphere was fun. Before I knew it, I heard the sound of celery being chewed from the seat behind me, and I turned around and laughed. The primo was ravioli with a bean sauce and black cabbage on top! All the flavors were mild and mixed together in my mouth to create a different taste. The only disappointment was that it was a little cold in the room to the right as soon as we entered, but the waitress was very fun and I was able to relax and dine in a famous restaurant, which was the best thing about it. I've been to Italy many times but I rarely have the chance to go to high-end restaurants, but after seeing the beautiful paintings in Cortona, I was really glad to come across such a delicious restaurant!

11/12/2024: We are a couple without kids. We were looking for a unique and quiet place to explore he landscape by car and mountainbike. We loved everything in locando del molino. The warm welcome, the kindness of the stuff the wonderful, detailed restored mill, the delicious meals makes the stay unforgetable. We recommed to book the half board. We definitly plan to come back. 11/02/2025: Soğuk bir kış gününde son derece sakin Cortona da bize sıcak bir saat veren mekan. Geleneksel bir kırmızı et tercih ettik. Oldukça lezzetliydi. Personel ilgili ve Güler yüzlü davrandı. Eski cortonanin merkez girişinde, bulunması hayli kolay. Meydanın çok yakınında. Mekanın atmosferi de kendisi gibi sıcacıktı. Biz beğendik.

14/08/2024: ¡¡NO están cerrados!! ¡Qué extraño lo online que dice que están! Lugar súper agradable, bien vale la pena una visita 🫶🏻 Muchos italianos aquí también, dirigido por dos hermanos, agradable y relajado ambiente con precios muy moderados, pero de buena calidad.

22/12/2024: I absolutely love this hotel. Loved it if I have to tell the truth. This summer we returned and I felt like a category B customer. I felt the staff was a little rude. In the bar near the swimming pool and in the reception area. And a shame. It seems that if you are not Italian you are a second choice customer. Furthermore, I didn't understand how it is possible that there is no buggy shuttle to go to the villas at the bottom. If I had crutches or wheelchairs, I couldn't move. It was almost 40 degrees and we had to walk in the sun. It was impossible to use the swimming pool near the villa for 1000 of bees. And no one even cared. Because we also had children. Anyway, I'm not coming back anymore

14/03/2025: I can recommend almost anything when it comes to delicious, simple Tuscan cuisine and fantastic local wine. It is worth ordering mushrooms fried in dough as a snack. The lamb is delicious. FIORENTINA is finger-licking good. It is worth booking a table in advance.

11/03/2025: During our visit to Cortona we decided to have lunch in this restaurant with an excellent quality/price ratio. The place is nice, the service is fast and the food is good. 2 of us shared a Dardano starter with ham and croutons, 2 first tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and Chianina ragù (excellent) and 2 tiramisu desserts and panna cotta (excellent).

25/02/2025: We have been here nearly every day of our visit to Cortona. The quality of the product is amazing as is the staff's knowledge of their producs. A special mention to Jakob, who is just one of the most passionate purveyors of the products he sells. He has done an amazing wine tasting for us and an amazing anti pasta to take home This is why you come to Tuscany

08/02/2025: My husband and I popped in to San Lazzaro when our original destination was not yet serving food. We were seated immediately and each had a GREAT pizza…Zorro for him…Margherita for me. The cheesecake was really good and our bottle of Chianti was great especially for the price point. The service in this pizzeria is absolutely the best. We are moving to Italy and this will be one of our local spots. Grazie mille to San Lazzaro!
