13/08/2024: In Cortona, finding a place to have dinner on a Friday in August without having booked and also looking for a place not for hit-and-run tourists is not exactly easy. We then asked a local guy who suggested this restaurant to us. A beautiful surprise. A little out of the way, frequented by locals (a very important element for me), young and wonderful staff, really excellent food. We ate panzanella and guinea fowl stuffed with olives. There isn't much space outside (however the restaurant overlooks a narrow street in the historic centre), inside there is air conditioning and a very hospitable environment.

08/08/2024: Everything was exaggeratedly good and the waiters were very sweet and attentive! Unfortunately only a little hot inside, but otherwise an experience to be absolutely repeated!

22/08/2024: Trattoria Toscana is a hidden gem that feels like stepping into an authentic Italian home, with food that tastes like it came straight from Nonna’s kitchen. 16/06/2024: Locale piccolo ma accogliente, personale molto gentile; l’attesa è stata ripagata con pietanze di straordinaria qualità, dalle tagliatelle al tartufo a quelle al divino ragù bianco di chianina; per non parlare del cheesecake e delle altre prelibatezze dolci!! Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo, se siete a Cortona fermata obbligatoria!

09/06/2024: The Tagliatelle al Ragu Bianco di Cinta Senese was EXCELLENT! Just simple but very tasty. Husband enjoyed the Pici all’Aglione very much, but he was expecting more “oomph” from his salsicce e Fagioli, I think. The Tortino di Patate con Formaggio al Tartufo was delicious! Not thrilled about the raw sliced zucchini with blasamic glaze on the side, however. Our friend enjoyed her Filetto di Chianina and it was beautiful, but it came with a side of chips, which seemed a bit pedestrian compared to the beautiful beef. Overall, the good was really good and we were happy. Worth a return to try other dishes as well.

27/08/2024: Amazing. Stayed here as part of our honeymoon road trip through Greece and Italy in August 2023 and this was one of the favorite parts of the trip! Restaurant is fantastic, scenery was peaceful and beautiful, great location for day trips throughout Tuscany. Close to Cortona for some evening dinner + drinks in the city itself, highly recommended!

24/08/2024: Sono andato con mia moglie a cena fiduciosi che la stella Michelin e la cornice di Cortona ci avrebbero regalato una bella esperienza. Cortona sempre bella, e la location altrettanto. Purtroppo il servizio, nonostante la gentilezza di tutto il personale non è risultato quello che ci aspettavamo. Siamo arrivati alle 20, puntuali, il primo piatto ci è stato servito alle 21.15. I piatti presi da mia moglie da dimenticare (battuta di chianina e Rosatenero), I miei (tortelli d’oca e anatra) buoni ma di certo non indimenticabili. Da un ristorante stellato mi aspettavo molto di più. Non torneremo. Peccato

27/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto quello che le guide Osterie d'Italia di Slow Food definiva "Giardino" che in realtà si é rivelato essere uno spazio esterno scosceso un tantino scomodo ad una decina di metri dalla cucina che si trova nella sede principale. Due Pici buoni, un filetto con lardo e "ristretto di vino" buono, una tagliata nervosa, immangiabile e lasciata nel piatto (da mia moglie) l'ho assaggiata e confermo, vino al calice. Prezzo corretto.

15/08/2024: La location, prossima a Cortona è ideale per una visita alla città. La struttura e il personale sono molto accoglienti. Ma vorrei porre l'attenzione sulla camera in cui abbiamo pernottato: oltre ad essere spaziosa e ben arredata aveva tutti i comfort per rendere la sosta ancora più piacevole, aria condizionata (non scontata in ogni B&B) ampio bagno corredato. Anche la colazione è stata una vera sorpresa, ampia scelta di prodotti dal dolce al salato, buonissimi e freschissimi. Consigliatissimo!

30/07/2024: Only used the restaurant. Nice place that takes you back in time due to its atmosphere and tastes. Not exactly an advantageous position for those stopping in Cortona. Good organization and service of the place. Medium-high prices but adequate for the quality.

26/08/2024: Very efficient service. We were served quickly. Very pleasant environment, we ate outside. The ribs were really good although I would have added a little more salt but then again we are in Umbria. Instead of the Bavarian dish, everything was perfect except the pretzel which was a little dry. All in all we had a good time, low prices but I don't feel like giving 5 stars.

21/08/2024: We loved our dinner here! They treated us to complimentary sparkling wine, a delicious “capiccino salato” that had ricotta and a squash sauce, moscato with our dessert, and limoncello. That would have been excellent value even without a great meal, but the food was delicious. The porcini soufflé might have been the best thing we’ve had in Italy and both the Pici cinta senese and tagliatelle with goose were terrific. The flaming chocolate ball dessert was a delightful cap to the evening, and we loved our waiters and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommend!

14/03/2024: Mattinata tra le meraviglie di Cortona, coronata da un pranzo notevole al Cacciatore. Cosa c'è di meglio che rifugiarsi lì, affamati, in una giornata piovosa e freddina? Accolti da antipasti toscani, ottimo vino consigliato dalla nostra amica sommelier che ci accompagnava, ribollita, pappa col pomodoro e chianina eccezionali! Servizio efficiente e cordiale

08/08/2024: What an amazing place! This restaurant is located in a wonderful scenic spot, with a wonderful view and a great, cozy terrace. The food deserves a Michelin star - stunning. The team is wonderful and they are even calling up front to ask for allergies etc. We went here twice during our stay in the area, because we loved it so much!

02/08/2024: It took about 2 months.. trying and asking around ..until we found Organika .by far thr best restaurant in the area .. the best I've been to overall in tuscany / Umbria. The setting is stunning .. not in the centre but way up the hill near a 1500s church. Very quiet. Service amazing . The 5 item tasting menu was superb. Really creative and surprising combinations of flavors . As was the paired wines. Amazing young chef 12/10 a must
