22/08/2025: We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance as we walked down from the Basilica of Santa Margherita. The tables with panoramic views and the exquisitely refined interior immediately won us over. The menu is varied and suitable for all palates, as is the selection of wines and beers. Although sophisticated, the portions are not lacking in size, leaving us fully satisfied at the end of the meal. Special mention goes to the duck pici, as well as the chocolate caprese cake (incredible!). The service was absolutely attentive, professional, yet friendly! If we were to return to Cortona, we would definitely book a table in advance so as not to miss out!

22/08/2025: A casual, welcoming, and delicious place. If you can, sit on the terrace with a panoramic view. Good wine, excellent food (we tried the egg with pecorino and truffle, the paccheri alla carbonara with cod, and the zucchini risotto with basil oil and burrata), and friendly staff. In the heart of Cortona, this bistro offers simple yet innovative dishes, expertly crafted with seasonal ingredients. From aperitif to dessert, the dishes are well-balanced in flavor and combinations, offering an excellent dinner at prices in line with average fare. Great work, keep up the good work!

25/08/2025: A basic, yet welcoming and tidy place. The service was courteous, helpful, and fast. The pizza was very good, both in the dough and the ingredients and toppings; you could taste the quality of the ingredients used. My only complaint was the quantity of fries served; given the €5 price tag, I would have appreciated a slightly larger portion.

25/08/2025: It was very crowded and they were a little slow, but the pizzas are very good and very reasonably priced. If you're on vacation and not in a hurry for dinner, this is a perfect spot in Cortona.

14/07/2025: A perfect stay in a dream location! We spent a few days at Agriturismo Le Terre dei Cavalieri and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are spotless, meticulously maintained, and welcoming, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The food is truly excellent: traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients, many of which are locally sourced. You can taste the difference! The staff is friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable: always ready to offer the best advice without ever being intrusive. The place is enchanting, immersed in the Tuscan countryside, with spectacular views and a rejuvenating tranquility. A corner of paradise where we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

13/07/2025: We ate two evenings at this charming trattoria. The quality of the ingredients and the house red wine were excellent. We can recommend the appetizers, first courses, and meat dishes. We also recommend the amazing panna cotta dessert with real strawberry sauce and whipped cream. For the price, we'd say a generous appetizer shared between two, two meat dishes with sides, a liter of red wine, and dessert cost us €60 for two. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Reservations are required.

18/08/2025: Beautiful villa nestled in the countryside just minutes from Cortona. Peace and relaxation reign supreme here! The staff were extremely kind and attentive. We were also kindly upgraded to a junior suite, which was very elegant and spacious!

25/08/2025: What can I say? The best in terms of meat, quality, and variety, not just national ones. What's even more appreciable: it's run entirely by women. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and will help you choose the cuts and breeds you'd like to enjoy. The wine list is excellent, with a perfect balance of selection, quality, and prices. Highly recommended for everyone, with a glass-fronted view of Cortona, and even a dedicated outdoor area.

24/08/2025: The location is in an industrial area and therefore disadvantaged, but the owners have managed to make it an original and welcoming place. The large garden perfectly embodies the festive and social spirit. Friendly and welcoming service from true Tuscans, while maintaining professionalism and discretion. The food is sublime and truly worth the price. Local meats are beautifully presented, processed and preserved. Local oil and wine. Recommended often.

28/07/2025: Scara e Beo is a hidden gem in the heart of Cortona. The inventive food is beautifully plated and delicious. We greatly enjoyed a break from the traditional Tuscan cuisine found everywhere else, for something so thoughtful and creative. The service was impeccable and the art deco atmosphere is elegant and fun. We will return again and again!

16/07/2025: We came for a wine tasting and lingered for 3 hours. This little wine store has the loveliest staff who really care about your experience. They were very kind to accommodate a friend in my group who only drinks dessert wines by modifying the tasting to her palette. The fresh-baked bread with salt and olive oil is the best I have ever tasted – and I’ve eaten a lot of bread in my travels. I appreciated the winery recommendations of where to visit while in the region as well as the lovingly-made snacks presented to us over the course of our time in the shop.

03/07/2025: A beautiful hotel in a beautiful place. David, the owner, is amazing. So hospitable and creates an incredible ambiance. The food is delicious, the rooms are luxurious, and the pool is perfect. A definite must visit.

30/06/2025: La Corte Dei Papi is a picturesque hotel/villa in Cortona that my girlfriend and I couldn't recommend more. We stayed at and attended our friends' wedding at the villa and have nothing but positive and glowing remarks about the scenery, rooms, accommodations and amenities, and the service. We were greeted daily by staff who were kind, pleasant, and attentive. Staff were beyond accommodating before we arrived at the villa; helping set up transportation, answering our questions, and providing us with a list of wineries in the area that we could visit. Staff were helpful in booking taxis throughout our stay and helped make traveling to/from wineries and the town simple. If you're looking to visit Tuscany and the Cortona area or looking for a venue for your wedding we highly recommend!

15/07/2025: We were walking around Cortona trying to find a nice place to have dinner and all of a sudden we saw these magical candles and inviting cozy tables outside. That made us check it out. They absolutely did not mind that there were 5 of us, though it seemed just for romantic dates. We were inside and enjoyed every minute of it: atmosphere, decor, food, wine. My son really liked the beef fillet steak, they even made pasta for our picky toddler, the cheese plate was amazing. The best part was that the chef came up to us to talk about the food and this will definitely be an unforgettable experience overall. Highly recommend!
