06/01/2025: Excellent experience! Familiar and welcoming environment, extreme attention to our Bau friends, pampered with lots of love. We ate so well that we returned the next day. Excellent quality/price ratio.

05/01/2025: We ate in this typical Tuscan trattoria for dinner and then the next day we returned for lunch. Typical and very good dishes, meat rigorously cooked rare and very tender, we ate with gusto. The owner is very nice and loves dogs, the staff is kind and very attentive to the customer's needs. Highly recommended

25/12/2024: Arrived from Florence for a couple of days here in Cortona, for the Christmas holidays.. Had lunch in this small restaurant, and I can guarantee you that we have been there for 10!! Compliments!

04/01/2025: I did a search on the internet and it was among the first in Cortona.... I confirm.... the guy who serves and advises is very kind and professional..... Everything is very good but the beans all'uccelletto are amazing.... As we said to the chef: "we would have eaten a BUCKET!!!!!" 😅 We will be back

13/12/2024: Very Tuscan in style, with stone walls and a welcoming and convivial atmosphere, this place combines the three characteristics of exceptional restaurants: fast service, very kind staff and fantastic food. Fabulous pappa col tomato, platter of typical local products, liver crostini with an ancient flavour, polenta with sprouts and impressive porcini mushrooms. Well done!! And a particular appreciation to the waiter Christian, polite, professional and attentive to every detail. I recommend this fantastic restaurant to everyone and can't wait to go back.

22/01/2025: E' un ambiente che mette completamente a proprio agio, piatti non scontati e carichi di gusto, personale attento ma mai invadente, sicuramente una location da proporre per un evento speciale!

18/01/2025: In visita a Cortona, abbiamo seguito il consiglio di un amico e abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante. Location carina e particolare, la sala dove abbiamo pranzato era ricca di foto di artisti (da tutto il mondo!) che hanno mangiato nel locale. Servizio veloce e cortese. Noi abbiamo scelto pici con ragù di chianina e funghi porcini veramente superlativi e tagliatelle ai funghi porcini anch'esse ottime! A completare il pranzo e non volendo eccedere abbiamo preso due contorni, patate arrosto e caponata, molto buoni...super consigliato!

15/09/2024: Ieri sera sono stata a cena con il mio compagno e dopo aver prenotato alle 21:30 ci hanno fatto accomodare dopo più di 30 minuti con persone che nn avevano prenotato...va bene é sabato sera ci può stare. Premetto il locale nn era colmo. Ci è stata presa finalmente l ordinazione e dopo dopo Mi mostra il pezzo di carne (SIMMENTAL BAVARRSE AUSTRIA) che avevo scelto, chiaramente ancora nn pulita con pezzetti d osso sbriciolato proprio nella parte commestibile e il grasso molto molto secco. Non faceva già tanta gola. Dopo altri 30 minuti finalmente abbiamo cominciato la cena. La carne era praticamente bruciata sotto, lessa ai lati e fredda all interno, e nn aveva x niente un gradevole odore, i pezzettini d osso spappolato nelle fibre e grasso immangiabile. Grazie a quei pezzetti di osso intrisi e affondati nella carne per la terribile cottura ho scheggiato due denti. Lunedì dentista La carne é rimasta nel piatto, nessuno che sia venuto a chiedere come andava o altro. Al pagamento ho riferito e mi sento dire perché nn sono andata a lamentarmi prima e che una cosa del genere nn era mai successa ma viste le recensioni ho notato molto lamentele. Io pago un servizio e dovestre essere voi in primis a preoccuparvi del cliente. Apprezzabile solo lo sconto fatto alla cassa dopo la mia lamentela La qualità della carne é totalmente un altra e la ristorazione un altra ancora. Grazie per i denti scheggiati e appena tornata ho vomitato con tremendi crampi allo stomaco. Complimenti

11/12/2024: We are a couple without kids. We were looking for a unique and quiet place to explore he landscape by car and mountainbike. We loved everything in locando del molino. The warm welcome, the kindness of the stuff the wonderful, detailed restored mill, the delicious meals makes the stay unforgetable. We recommed to book the half board. We definitly plan to come back. 04/12/2024: I stayed with them last weekend, very clean and beautiful room, with all the comforts, mini bar full of drinks, tea and coffee. We also booked at the restaurant and I guarantee you that it is a real gem, everything is delicious and the prices are right for what they offer. The staff is very kind and very helpful.

14/08/2024: ¡¡NO están cerrados!! ¡Qué extraño lo online que dice que están! Lugar súper agradable, bien vale la pena una visita 🫶🏻 Muchos italianos aquí también, dirigido por dos hermanos, agradable y relajado ambiente con precios muy moderados, pero de buena calidad.

22/12/2024: I absolutely love this hotel. Loved it if I have to tell the truth. This summer we returned and I felt like a category B customer. I felt the staff was a little rude. In the bar near the swimming pool and in the reception area. And a shame. It seems that if you are not Italian you are a second choice customer. Furthermore, I didn't understand how it is possible that there is no buggy shuttle to go to the villas at the bottom. If I had crutches or wheelchairs, I couldn't move. It was almost 40 degrees and we had to walk in the sun. It was impossible to use the swimming pool near the villa for 1000 of bees. And no one even cared. Because we also had children. Anyway, I'm not coming back anymore

05/01/2025: Unfortunately my experience was not positive. Tiny portions, both the pici pasta with duck sauce where I found little bones on the plate and the sweet cantucci with vin Santo with three very small cantucci. In addition to the lack of kindness of the waitress, which is why I didn't point out my discontent. I'm sorry but I think it's right to share both positive and negative experiences as they should serve to improve.

27/11/2024: Amazing restaurant. Fabulous service and food. Their home made limoncello was excellent, and they also sell this at their store next door. The lady was so nice to bring us there. This experience was such a beautiful pre-Christmas festive one

25/11/2024: We had such a lovely experience at Preludio. The service was incredibly attentive. The food was delicious and just kept coming out with course after course of delicious and beautiful things. We returned back a second time for another dinner on another night because the whole experience was so lovely.

13/09/2024: Your visit to Cortona is not complete until you visit Sartù. The food, the hospitality, it is all you could wish for when visiting Italy. 10/10!

16/08/2024: In an alley among many, under a delightful blue sky vault, there is a fantastic restaurant. You will be pampered by the attentive and friendly staff, and delighted by the flavors and quality of the food. The Chef creates dishes by excellently intertwining ancient flavors and local products, but giving freshness and originality to each course. All very good, no flaws. Highly recommended.

18/11/2024: We were expecting to have a beautiful accomodation, but when we arrived and saw the property and the room we remained speechless. It was exactly like you see in movies. The room had bedsheets and towels changed everyday, the breakfast was delicious, the pool area was very nice, the room was stunning, and the serenity and the peace you feel here gives you the whole package. Also, easy access by car to main cities, such as Arezzo, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona is just 10 minutes away by car and it is a lovely city. We will definitely come back here because we loved everything

30/12/2024: Our hotel recommend this restaurant and made reservations for us. It was a busy night, so we are glad we had reservations. We had the Pappardelle al Cinghiale Bianco and Pici all’anatra with the house red wine. Both pasta dishes were delicious and reasonably priced.

15/12/2024: We spent a pleasant evening, tasted delicious local dishes! The appetizers were delicious! The smoked pici are very tasty! Friendly, helpful and smiling staff! The owner is attentive and very nice! The digestive that we tasted was a discovery! Thanks for the local flavors!!
