06/10/2025: The Caldo Freddo was delicious, and the restaurant should focus solely on serving ice cream, because the rest was poor. The pancakes, both sweet and savory, were very average and tasteless, and the panini were just slightly warmed-up, tasteless bread—like something from a gas station.

10/09/2025: Grumpy as hell He doesn't know what kindness or politeness is September. There's no one on the beach. It's a cloudy, windy day, almost raining. I ask for a simple, slightly warmed chocolate croissant. The first time, he pretends not to hear, and passes it to me cold. The second time, thinking he hadn't heard me, I politely ask if he can warm it up for me. He starts cursing, making hand gestures and muttering strange things, and then throws the plate in front of me on the counter. At this, I'm incredulous because I don't understand his problem. It was clear he was mad at me. I ask him if this kind of treatment is normal, because if he couldn't warm it up, he could just say so clearly and it would have been over with. He continues gesturing in vain, telling me that it's still warm in September and that croissants don't heat up. Is everything okay?

30/05/2025: Bar Pitti 5 stars are not enough, I would have given 10 stars! The bar is equipped with a pastry laboratory that churns out pastries, local sweets and pizzas produced every day!!! Everything is delicious! Discovered because it is close to the accommodation. This morning before leaving I bought a typical fruit dessert with ricotta, an arancina and a hot macchiato coffee, I paid only 4 euros!!!! If I were to return to Mazzara, the first stop would definitely be here!!!

22/10/2025: We dined at this restaurant several times during our stay in Pantelleria. The food is truly excellent, well-cooked, and the portions are generous. The prices are certainly competitive for the quality of the products served. The service could be improved, but overall, it's highly recommended.

18/10/2025: Good and affordable sandwich shop and takeout. Service is perhaps a little slow, but that's due to the high attendance. The little place near the waterfront is very small, with just a few tables and stools for quick meals. Blackboards list the various types of delicious sandwiches and their daily preparations. The freshly fried arancini are delicious. I enjoyed the Pantelleria-style fish couscous with fried vegetables (takeout upon order), which was well-seasoned and flavorful. The Pantelleria-style calamari filling, however, could be improved. I wrote this ☝️ before, now: This Strit fud was a novelty on the island right from the start, a popular spot for those in a hurry who wanted to grab something traditional on the spot. Today, with the restaurant attached, it has become a go-to place for locals and tourists, offering good products and affordable dishes. If you're looking to sit down for a meal in addition to the takeaway sandwiches, piadinas, and arancini, reservations are recommended because, "luckily for them," it's always packed. The spaghetti with ink or calamari ragù is excellent. Well done, and kudos to the staff. Updated AUG 2024 - On more than one occasion, I've noticed that the chef is heavy-handed with the salt, especially in the main courses. If you point this out to Loredana (the owner), SHE is always right, not the customer, and she'll say, "Oh, no, it's a bit tasty." And, despite leaving the plates full, you still pay and don't smile. I prefer the "tasty" first courses.

04/03/2025: In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in the area. We spent a week on vacation and went there three times. The freshness and quality of the ingredients are excellent. The service is perfect, and the staff is always ready to offer excellent advice on what to order. Generous portions. I recommend the raw fish because it's sublime. Excellent value. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant.

21/02/2025: Very pleasant location, good food, and a wide selection. The service is good. Prices are reasonable for what you choose, but it's best to get The Fork or similar to avoid any surprises on the bill.

21/10/2025: We stayed (a group of motorcyclists) for two nights, half board. What can I say? In my opinion, everything was excellent. The rooms were well-maintained, especially the bathroom, which was perfect. No signs of limescale in the faucets or shower. The sea view was wonderful. Breakfast was generous and plentiful. Dinner was more than delicious. Our bikes were safely stored in the garage. Only a few people had to wait in the morning for their rooms, but I think it was due to previous guests leaving later than expected. That's understandable, but it doesn't alter my overall, more than positive opinion.

10/10/2025: I thank all the staff for their helpfulness and kindness... also for our breakfasts outside of regular hours with hot croissants and drinks at our disposal... the only flaw was the very low lights in the room.

05/10/2025: A bakery that still makes bread according to the traditional recipe. The owner is what you might call a son of a baker. I remember when, many years ago, I would go to buy bread from his parents, strictly black, hand-kneaded and baked in a preheated wood-fired oven, and he, as a little boy, would play around. The black bread is excellent, as are the pizza and biscuits of the most classic Castelvetrano tradition. A taste is highly recommended.

19/08/2025: A real treat! The black bread roll, a specialty of Castelvetrano, is absolutely delicious. A unique and authentic flavor that reminds me of Sicily. I love it, and I will definitely come back!😋

13/11/2025: The place is beautiful and the food is excellent....I'll be back sooner or later. The owner is also very nice.

28/10/2025: Nice atmosphere, but very expensive, especially the first four rows. That's why there aren't many guests. Maybe they'll realize it, who knows? Unfortunately, the sea is polluted with algae. The owner can't do anything about that, but it's unpleasant.

01/12/2025: Delicious dishes and excellent service on one of Italy's most beautiful islands. Highly recommended; the pasta dishes are excellent, and the parmigiana is fabulous.

30/11/2025: Touch of the osteria. Welcoming. Very friendly staff, quality food, and... Cinema makes you feel at home. I recommend it.

17/09/2025: Even though I'm not a huge fan of oven-baked pizza, we stopped in for a quick takeout. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. We savored the still-hot pizzas, and they were truly delicious, flavorful, and flavorful! The dough was fantastic, well-risen, and with a crunchy crust that was mouth-watering!

Furthermore, the ambiance, with a terrace and sea views, creates an ideal atmosphere for a relaxed dinner; at sunset, the golden light and sea breeze add a lot. In terms of value, many people think the restaurant is a bit more expensive than what you might pay at more basic local trattorias, but the experience justifies it. 22/09/2025: A typical trattoria with a very good, tasty pizza selection. The pizzas are crispy and not too thick. Lunch menu features a changing selection, always freshly prepared. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are very friendly.

18/11/2025: Formica is undoubtedly the best restaurant on the island, boasting a location and offering top-quality dishes. The restaurant occupies a typical Sicilian historic house, comprising a central space and two side alcoves, expertly renovated in terms of finishes and furnishings. The atmosphere, with its soft lighting and light, warm colors, exudes a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. The menu features primarily seafood, but vegetarian options are also available. Everything is meticulously prepared, from the warm sourdough bread with extra virgin olive oil served at the start of the meal to the beautifully presented and generously portioned courses. For our appetizer, we chose raw red prawns, snuffbox peaches, tomatoes, capers, and lemon, and for our first course, risotto in fish and shellfish broth with raw red prawns and nduja, and spaghetti with tuna bottarga, potatoes, and lemon. The freshness of the ingredients, expertly crafted by the impeccable kitchen, is immediately apparent. The prices are higher than average, but justified by the type of venue, the service, and the quality of the ingredients served. We were very impressed that the waitress listed the off-menu items with their respective prices; it's a sign of extreme elegance and transparency. Recommended for those who want to indulge in a dinner in a refined, quiet setting with top-quality cuisine. Congratulations, we'll be back! 5 stars overall!!

25/10/2025: The only high-quality gastronomic experience in Favignana in October. All the dishes are refined, true taste experiences. A beautiful blend of contemporary Sicilian-Japanese cuisine, and this is what a difficult person said at her birthday dinner. 🫣 I wouldn't come to Favignana in August.

16/11/2025: Unfortunately, it doesn't reflect a farmhouse, neither in terms of the food setup nor the service, water and bread rationed, no quality of raw materials and also regarding the sale of oil, I give you no that costs 10 a liter and then you pay 10 euros for a can! Unprofessional!

09/11/2025: I thank my friends Mario and Anna for introducing us to this enchanting place where the temple and nature become a living picture. We ate divinely authentic food, praying not to overdo the portions. Everything was delicious. Thanks to Miriam, our delightful hostess, with whom we had a pleasant chat. We'll be back in the spring.
