29/03/2024: I chose this beautiful location to celebrate my birthday and I didn't regret it at all. excellent food and particular menu (for me it is important to find dishes that are different from the usual). The impeccable service and I would like to give special credit to the waiter Cristian, who was very kind and professional.

14/03/2024: We went after 7pm. Besides us, there was a loud group, and within 15-20 minutes the restaurant was full. It was very good food. It is true that the arancini could have been ground better. the gnocchi was very good. The fish dish is also 5*. The pizza was also delicious (but I prefer Neapolitan pizza). We wanted to repeat it on Wednesday, but unfortunately Wednesday is a holiday.

31/03/2024: The vin de l'assasin is simply perfect. So good that there's no need to even comment on the food. Here, go there and try the risotto with Sicilian gazpacho and burrata… Then we'll talk about it. ALL the staff we spoke to were extremely friendly, professional, helpful but most importantly, pleasant and smiley. A pleasure just being there talking to them. An Easter lunch to remember! Thank you! PS: the price we set includes the very notable wines we chose. The quality/price ratio is decidedly very favourable.

06/04/2024: I received a chocolate egg that was definitely bought for a lot of money because it was bought as an artisanal egg. Apart from beautiful packaging, cheap dark chocolate and a surprise that isn't even worth 50 cents, one of the ugliest magnets I've ever seen. In a pastry shop considered among the best in Syracuse, the customer must not be treated like this. The other egg received by a relative of mine was also disappointing in terms of quality and surprise.

20/03/2024: We ordered a cappuccino, a Caffe Doppio, a croissant filled with Nutella and a cannoli filled with chocolate. Price/performance was top 👍🏽👍🏽

31/03/2024: A restaurant that has represented Syracuse excellence for years and years. Flavors, smells that remain indelible in the mind. They perfectly represent the territory, the wind and the salinity of the sea. Suggestive venue and excellent cellar. Obviously Don Camilo could not exist without the legendary Chef Guarneri. Good job, everyone. Keep punching. Honorable mention to my favorite dish: prawns with cuttlefish ink on almond cream. For me the essence of the flavors of the Syracuse area.

23/03/2024: Beautiful restaurant. Good level of service. Something to review on the meat menu. Objectively not up to the level of the fish one in terms of quality and execution. Wines a little expensive.

02/04/2024: When I read "you eat very well" I realize that many people don't understand anything about food and that they certainly only eat sandwiches. A wild boar ragù which was a horrible watered down sauce, at an absurd price and a mixed roast which was just hilarious. For two first courses (inedible), two second courses, a small coke and one of water €60.00🤦‍♀️ P.S Hire more staff when you have everything booked, which if they are paid well is available, I assure you. The guys in the room (2) were destroyed but still good. Congratulations only to you.

01/04/2024: On the advice of friends, I booked this place for Easter Monday lunch... We ordered ravioli with wild boar ragù and we received 4 ravioli with a very watery sauce and a meatball on top. All tasteless. We ask the guy in the restaurant, who is really kind, for explanations, we point out that that dish based on sauce and water is not worth the price they ask but that above all it is not wild boar ragù. After a while he returns mortified, bringing us a taste of just wild boar ragù (which was actually the same sauce with a flattened meatball as a ragù), thus confirming that our ravioli were with the sauce. Then comes the barbecue, nothing exceptional (as someone from Catania I'm used to something else) but still decent. It's a shame because from the reviews and comments of friends who had already been here in the past, expectations were high. The only applause goes to the waiters who, despite being fewer in number than the guests present, managed to manage the needs in an optimal manner. Really good.
