15/08/2024: We had a random experience with this little restaurant. Everything was perfect! I enjoyed an incredibly good grilled sea bream and my partner will say the same thing about his steak. The welcome was warm, the dessert was also delicious. The prices are completely affordable, €62 for a sea bream, a steak, a glass of white wine, 2 tiramisus at €5 each, 2 coffees and a bottle of water. Our only regret is changing cities the same day and not being able to return! Speaks French, Mrs is in the kitchen and Mr is serving. Absolutely don’t hesitate to go there!

09/08/2024: What a great place! The owners are delightful; talented chefs, knowledgeable locals and passionate about local quality food. We had a delicious meal, specialising in seafood, the whole baked sea bass was outstanding. Would give them 10/5 if only google would let us.

27/08/2024: Ambiente molto carino e informale. Come entri ti senti subito accolto a casa. Cibo ottimo e di alta qualità, ogni cosa sembra più buona dell’altra. Sicuramente torneremo per provare altre pietanze, altamente consigliato!

19/08/2024: Abbiamo fatto tappa qui per puro caso. Una macelleria/gastronomia che offre i propri prodotti cucinati al momento o takeaway. Cordiali ed educati(non facile da trovare) Ci siamo trovati BENISSIMO TUTTO OTTIMO CONSIGLIATISSIMO BRAVI!!!

30/08/2024: Heerlijke tent, ga er einde middag naartoe en je vangt nog wat zonnestralen mee. Eigenaar spreekt vol passie en denkt mee over de smaken die je verlangt van een glas wijn. Borrelplank is goed in orde en personeel super vriendelijk. Kortom een bezoek waard

30/08/2024: Great wine great food great staff. Enjoy a wonderful evening of quality food and wine. The bruschetta are a palette to experience. The plate of fresh cuts and cheeses is so nicely build up in taste. Must try when in Ortigia!

23/07/2024: The highlight restaurant with huge portion of food. Every dishes are incredibly good especially fresh seafood. We come back directly the next day because the quality was there. The prices are really reasonable for the quantity on the plate. Trust me, it worth the wait (15’ max)

26/10/2024: Spinti dalla voglia di mangiare nuovamente la salsiccia tipica, buonissima, di Palazzolo ci siamo trovati in questo bel locale in centro. Ambiente caldo e ben curato, gentilezza da parte della proprietà come da proverbi siciliani, cibo assolutamente genuino e dai sapori che portano indietro all’infanzia. Abbiamo preso un antipasto della casa con qualche piccolo rinforzo di arrosticini di cacvallo e parmigiana di melanzane che niente aveva da invidiare a quella delle nostre mamme e nonne. “Cavati” al sugo di maiale e salsiccia di Palazzolo innaffiati da un vino locale che ovviamente non poteva che essere che un mero d’abola ingentilito da un po’ di frappato ed ecco che le emozioni sono esplose tutte insieme. Torneremo senz’altro per provare anche tutto il resto del menù che ci chiamava insistentemente. Complimenti ancora alla gestione e alla qualità dei cibi.

01/10/2024: We have eaten at this cozy restaurant three times and each time it was a fabulous experience made only better by the extreme kindness and professionalism of the family who owns it. Santo is a fabulous host, and his brother and mother cook delicious, unpretentious Sicilian food. The flavors are those of home and the quantities are extremely generous. Do not miss the antipasto which includes about 12 different things, among them a stuffed deep fried egg and a potato croquette that are truly fantastic. All the pastas we have tried have been excellent and the sweet ricotta cassatelle for dessert are out of this world. This is a gem of a restaurant so don't miss it if you are in the area.

09/11/2024: Amazing pizzas and great prices. We had bari and bologna 2.0 and they both were very good. Could not recommend this place enough!

06/11/2024: Perfect pizza, reasonable price, very good quality ingredients, the tuna on the pizza was one of the better quality, as well as the ham and cheese on the pizza, in my opinion the best pizza I've ever eaten in this city, I really recommend it!

28/08/2024: Popped in here for a drink after eating elsewhere. Great atmosphere and service: Ahmed at the bar was friendly, engaging and always happy to help. Cocktails were reasonably priced and very lovely. Would visit again and heartily recommend for a drink in the heart of Ortigia.

06/12/2024: Delicious cooked pasta. It's worth buying. However, the dish of the day was uneatable. I have never eaten such overcooked pasta in Italy. I am not pleasantly surprised and disappointed.

22/08/2024: Good place, excellent sandwiches, but consuming on site is not very pleasant, especially in the evening, there are few tables and many people, people tend to consume very slowly and occupy the tables for too long, often they are also dirty. Chaotic and inconvenient consumption, if you can avoid consuming on site at the busiest times it is an excellent kiosk.

10/11/2024: It was one of the most exciting food and wine experiences of my life. From the entrance to the desserts, a union of continuous emotions. We came across it by chance with my family, including my wife and daughter who are celiac, after a morning at the seaside in a bay a few kilometers away. The tables are located in a courtyard of an ancient farmhouse built in stone and decorated with flowering plants and climbers. The guys in the room pampered us and explained the various dishes, one after the other, all delicious combinations of a cuisine characterized by the flavors of a wonderful land like Sicily.

17/11/2024: Posto informale, ma molto carino, aiuta la convivialità tra i vari tavolini presenti fuori dal locale che possono utilizzare i clienti... Siamo andati oggi per un pranzo veloce durante una bella giornata ad Ortigia, abbiamo preso un loro tipico mix di frittura pesce e delle "molto" buone polpettine di baccalà in mousse.... veramente consigliato Conto tutto sommato nella norma per ciò che ti propongono in menù.... soprattutto frequentato da turisti, ma trattati bene... Da ritornare....

10/11/2024: I tried it at a store near my accommodation and it was delicious! The packaging was pretty and most of all, it was delicious and not salty. What I ate was assorted fried food, and it was all delicious!
