15/08/2024: We had a random experience with this little restaurant. Everything was perfect! I enjoyed an incredibly good grilled sea bream and my partner will say the same thing about his steak. The welcome was warm, the dessert was also delicious. The prices are completely affordable, €62 for a sea bream, a steak, a glass of white wine, 2 tiramisus at €5 each, 2 coffees and a bottle of water. Our only regret is changing cities the same day and not being able to return! Speaks French, Mrs is in the kitchen and Mr is serving. Absolutely don’t hesitate to go there!

09/08/2024: What a great place! The owners are delightful; talented chefs, knowledgeable locals and passionate about local quality food. We had a delicious meal, specialising in seafood, the whole baked sea bass was outstanding. Would give them 10/5 if only google would let us.

30/08/2024: Heerlijke tent, ga er einde middag naartoe en je vangt nog wat zonnestralen mee. Eigenaar spreekt vol passie en denkt mee over de smaken die je verlangt van een glas wijn. Borrelplank is goed in orde en personeel super vriendelijk. Kortom een bezoek waard

30/08/2024: Great wine great food great staff. Enjoy a wonderful evening of quality food and wine. The bruschetta are a palette to experience. The plate of fresh cuts and cheeses is so nicely build up in taste. Must try when in Ortigia!

27/08/2024: Ambiente molto carino e informale. Come entri ti senti subito accolto a casa. Cibo ottimo e di alta qualità, ogni cosa sembra più buona dell’altra. Sicuramente torneremo per provare altre pietanze, altamente consigliato!

19/08/2024: Abbiamo fatto tappa qui per puro caso. Una macelleria/gastronomia che offre i propri prodotti cucinati al momento o takeaway. Cordiali ed educati(non facile da trovare) Ci siamo trovati BENISSIMO TUTTO OTTIMO CONSIGLIATISSIMO BRAVI!!!

06/05/2024: Appena entrati si capisce subito che l'esperienza sushi sarà molto diversa da tutte quelle provate prima:la cucina a vista lavora in silenzio e ordinatamente diretta dallo chef Jefferson Silva,la musica jazz ti avvolge,mise en place molto ricercata nei dettagli, ambiente molto curato e pulito,il personale é molto cortese ti segue con il sorriso durante tutta la cena consigliandoti su quello che verrà .Il sushi é davvero molto diverso da quello tradizionale,i sapori sono nuovi e gli abbinamenti perfetti ogni boccone é una goduria per il palato.Il prezzo è giusto per la qualità delle materie prime usate.Lo chef Jefferson Silva ha portato delle geniali novità in un mondo così tradizionale . Complimenti.

12/04/2024: Gone to the dogs. Tried to have a meal here. 8:30 on a Thursday night. Restaurant was completely empty, except for one table with one man and a cute dog. Seated promptly by a friendly service person. The restaurant was clean, stylish and the menu looked good so we ordered drinks. Then began loud constant, nonstop, yipping and barking of the cute little dog at the one other table in the empty restaurant. (I must be clear, we are dog people. We have multiple dogs, and we enjoy dogs in public settings, such as restaurants as long as they are reasonably well-behaved. ) This dog unfortunately continued to be in distress and to bark with no notice or action being taken by the owner. We mentioned this to our server and she looked awkwardly towards the table and said that unfortunately that was the owner/manager and his dog! She left and our expectation was that she would perhaps mention to the owner that his dog was disrupting his customers. In any event, the dog barking continued un-abated. Again without the OWNER/MANAGER OF AN EMPTY RESTAURANT DOING ANYTHING TO CALM HIS DOG. We asked the waitress to bring our check for the drinks. She looked mortified and apologetic, and we left. Maybe food is good we will never know but the attitude towards customers is pretty telling and alarming.

23/07/2024: Fantastic experience, excellent and satisfying dishes, perfect climate and calm and relaxing environment never found in any other place.

16/07/2024: Unique atmosphere. It feels like home. Chef Claudio offers excellently crafted dishes with excellent wine pairings. Nice and friendly service.

23/07/2024: The highlight restaurant with huge portion of food. Every dishes are incredibly good especially fresh seafood. We come back directly the next day because the quality was there. The prices are really reasonable for the quantity on the plate. Trust me, it worth the wait (15’ max)

16/07/2024: Non si può non andare a gustare almeno uno dei favolosi panini .Il pane è meraviglioso così come tutti gli ingredienti, la scelta è veramente ampia e gustosa. Il locale si trova nella piazza principale di Avola, dispone di tavoli all'aperto per poter gustare al meglio le specialità.Grazie al signor Massimo per averci illustrato la scelta e la storia degli ingredienti dei suoi favolosi panini. Consigliatissimo!!!

22/08/2024: Good place, excellent sandwiches, but consuming on site is not very pleasant, especially in the evening, there are few tables and many people, people tend to consume very slowly and occupy the tables for too long, often they are also dirty. Chaotic and inconvenient consumption, if you can avoid consuming on site at the busiest times it is an excellent kiosk.

28/08/2024: Popped in here for a drink after eating elsewhere. Great atmosphere and service: Ahmed at the bar was friendly, engaging and always happy to help. Cocktails were reasonably priced and very lovely. Would visit again and heartily recommend for a drink in the heart of Ortigia.

Santo and his brother welcomed us with open arms, accompanying us on this magical culinary journey. Excellent value for money. We will return without a doubt! Highly recommended!

02/09/2024: August 2024. Small bakery in a side street of Noto. Found thanks to a sign in the main street. It is about 150 meters from the main street and maybe half a kilometer from the cathedral. Parking is difficult to find near the venue. There are seats in the outdoor area with raised chairs and covered white tables. The white pizza with onion is spectacular. Soft, tall, tasty, crunchy, both the potato and the dough. They don't use lard except for the cannoli. Fair prices between 15/18 euros per kg.

29/08/2024: What an amazing place , the bread and the sfincioni is to die for. You can really tell that the quality of the flour it’s at a super high level.. the best panificio I visit in Sicily by far.

Posto caratteristico, bello, siciliano...accoglienza meravigliosa da parte del titolare che ci ha descritto i suoi prodotti chilometro zero e piatti dai sapori unici.
