And perhaps it was the scorching temperature outside that made every refreshment taste extra good. But I found it delicious. And of course, not forgetting the staff. It's so nice when they let me speak Italian and correct me where necessary. Thanks again.

23/05/2026: Good quality, original homemade food, quick and friendly service. The owner is very friendly and speaks French. We only stayed one night in Ragusa, otherwise we would have returned for dinner. Dining on the terrace was very pleasant. Thank you.

01/04/2026: Brought to us by friends from Sicily and elsewhere, we visited this lovely, clean, and well-kept restaurant, with Tonino, the owner, as our host. He personally goes fishing, and the freshest catch is served on the table. The raw fish is truly from another planet. Red prawns and scampi, swordfish, tuna, and spaghettini with squid. Typical local first courses. Roasted and unroasted fish. Prices are very reasonable compared to the north. Worth a try if you're in Scicli.

07/05/2026: Delicious cakes 😋 I discovered Liolà by chance and was truly impressed. The pastry shop is meticulously crafted, with an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to recommend the house specialties. The desserts are exceptional: fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and truly refined presentation. Spectacular pastries, among the best I've tasted in Sicily. The coffee is also excellent, served with care and professionalism. You can sense the artisanal passion in every product. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. If you're passing through Modica, this is a must-see for anyone who loves authentic Sicilian pastries.

28/05/2026: I was there with a group of friends, only to eat, I wouldn't know about lodgings. Old building(s), like a fortified farm/manor, with a large interior courtyard and verdant generous surroundings. Kind of difficult to get there (which is maybe better), we stayed about 10 km away, so no big effort for us. Quiet, almost eerie atmosphere, very relaxing, maybe we spoiled some of it laughing loudly, because it felt so good. True (I like to think) sicillian country experience. Nobody among us complained about the food (which is a very rare situation !). It was very good , ok maybe a confusion between a medium-rare fiorentino and a medium entrecote. It didn't matter. I highly recommend it for anyone who, like me, loves traditional, delicious Sicilian cuisine.

27/05/2026: A fabulous culinary experience in a refined trattoria. The location is elegant, and the dishes are prepared and served with great care, but above all, with excellent ingredients. The price is ridiculous for what they offer. A downside, not the easiest to find.

27/05/2026: A restaurant in the upper Modica area, along a beautifully illuminated staircase. It's a place from another era where good food and attentive service continue to thrive. The house antipasto was excellent, a perfect appetizer for our first dinner in Sicily. The first courses (trofie and busiati) and the cannoli are also very good. The price is very fair!

25/04/2026: The perfect place to have a delicious breakfast. A wide selection of desserts, in all colors and flavors. Not to mention the cakes, whether gelato, cream, or sweet ricotta. Delicious!! For those who have any doubts, I can assure you everything is delicious.

16/09/2025: This is my second time ordering a cake from this bakery, and I have to say that, even though I'm not a big fan of sweets (they usually make me feel sick or I find them too heavy), their cakes are some of the best I've ever had. Besides being gorgeous in appearance, they're so good you'd want to eat them whole. I recommend this bakery to everyone!

03/08/2025: A truly Nobel pastry shop, you can find what you want and if it's not there, they'll do it easily 😊 I'm always happy with home delivery too.. everything arrives fresh and is good, like this croissant.. strawberry and Nutella parcel, arrived hot, soft, full of cream 🤭😘
