They recommended a "rich fish appetizer," and it was an excellent choice: very good ingredients, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Service was good. Value for money was excellent. A quaint restaurant in the heart of Modica Alta, highly recommended.

02/01/2026: I'd just like to point out the attention paid to minor room maintenance. Everything else is pleasant; you sleep very well, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection is very good. Dinners are decent, but nothing exceptional. The carpeting in the hallways also needs maintenance. The New Year's Eve entertainment was pleasant.
24/12/2025: Definitely 4 stars for the nineties. (sagged mattresses) For 2025, 3. The location is great. The receptionist was pleasant, but for the lady to shove a piece of pizza into my hand on a napkin for breakfast was a real surprise for me. See the photo for the breakfast menu. Free parking nearby.

12/12/2025: Compliments to the manager of the place, he served us impeccably and invented a VIP pizza with cherry tomatoes, top-quality smoked salmon and fresh prawns, rating 10.
28/11/2025: The atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff is very efficient and friendly, but the raw pizza took the longest to digest. I don't think I'll return.

02/10/2025: I love this shopping complex for its location, size and selection of shops. Prices are brilliant and comfort is second to none. HOWEVER and I write this because it's important - some of the staff in the shops - especially those at Swarovski have the manners of Neanderthals and to me are clearly very selective in which patrons they serve. I have already written about them in another review however I still am shocked at the disgraceful service I received when I was there - or rather almost no service at all.

16/09/2025: This is my second time ordering a cake from this bakery, and I have to say that, even though I'm not a big fan of sweets (they usually make me feel sick or I find them too heavy), their cakes are some of the best I've ever had. Besides being gorgeous in appearance, they're so good you'd want to eat them whole. I recommend this bakery to everyone!
03/08/2025: A truly Nobel pastry shop, you can find what you want and if it's not there, they'll do it easily 😊 I'm always happy with home delivery too.. everything arrives fresh and is good, like this croissant.. strawberry and Nutella parcel, arrived hot, soft, full of cream 🤭😘

28/12/2025: For a few months now, the amount of meat in sandwiches has been drastically reduced, almost halved. The sandwich is still very good. They'll blame the price increases and maintain the same prices; that's the trend. What a shame.

Friendly and very helpful staff.
Delicious fish, and above all, the right proportions.
In fact, it's now common practice, especially in Milan, to minimize the amount of fish in fish-based first courses.
At La Sirenetta, on the other hand, you'll find pasta and fish, or grilled second courses, with generous and delicious portions.
The traditional desserts are all excellent.
The appetizer pairings are highly recommended, to start.
We'll definitely be back, and compliments to the chef.
01/02/2026: We stayed at a hotel in Modica for three nights and dined at La Sirenetta for three nights. The first night, we had fish, and it was such a great experience that we returned the following evenings. The pizza, which we ate the following evenings, is one of the best I've ever tasted: absolutely worth trying.
The kindness and professionalism of the entire staff is undoubtedly a plus: they're all young and friendly; the lovely chats about wine with one of them on the last evening made the dinner for us Venetians even more enjoyable.
Well done!
